I love the Abtronic! I have used it for about 6 years now and have excellent results. I also use ordinary water based lotion with it and have had no problem with the burning and redness unless I use too little of it. I also work out, eat right, and run 3-5 times a week. This is awsome for getting definition on your abs!But if you dont want to exercise and eat right, dont bother with it because it wont work for you.

Ok simple fact is that ok this might be a scam but it's also user error. On the belt it says to you can use the gel or any water based lotions so I'm using lotions. It also says to use a bunch of lotions. Also i've been using it for a week for an hour or so and it's been sitting in the cabinet for years. Of course I use it while doing warmups. It fits around me pretty well and I'm 6ft 240 pounds. I noticed the same pain and I can see the effect of it later on. So while yes they lied by saying without exercise it'll help you. But it does work in assisting with a workout.

I ordered the AbTornic when it first came out and it was a very effective product. The problem that led to all the disappointment was the neoprene pad that they gave you that needed to be replaced every other month for $29.95. The they figured out that no one was falling for their tactic of trying to make money from each person for life so the come out with the pad they should have offered from the beginning that lasted a lifetime and was much more effective. But by then everyone lost interest in AbTronic especially with so many other ab belts on the market. They really dropped the ball on this and it is product that could have been very successful instead of having nothing but complaints. The AbTronic, while a great and effective product, is virtually useless if you have to use it with the neoprene pad instead of the lifetime pad. If anyone kows where I can get an Abtronic with the lifetime pad let me know. Nick
