I started using BE 4 years ago at the insistence of four of my relatives who swore it wouldn’t break me out like traditional liquid make-up. They were 100% right! I still get some acne here and there, but I find it mostly pops up after a weekend when I didn’t wear BE. I, too, had coverage complaints at first, but I realize now that it had everything to do with the amount I was using; I was just scared to use too much. It does take some practice to find the right middle ground, but now I love it. Bisque coves blemishes, Well Rested hides my under-eye circles, and the foundation hides my all-over redness. I try to watch Leslie, the creator, when she’s on [] because I learn new application tricks every time. It’s essential, no pun intended that you apply a moisturizer before using the foundation for the product to look right. Without it, you will have chalkiness. I ordered my first kit on TV, and it was a mistake. They don’t sell my color, Fair, the lightest available, in the starter kits so my initial colors didn’t work for me. However, the girls at my local boutique are great and helped me find the right one. I adore everything about this line from the foundation to the eye & cheek colors to the brushes, mine have NEVER shed to the eye make-up removers to the lip glosses. Buxom Lips & Lip Shields are always in my bag.

I absolutely love this product. It is the first foundation I have ever used that ddn't feel thick and did not irritate my skin or clog my pores. I used to use department store quality foundations. I have roseacea, mildly, and get monthly mild breakouts. Used properly this product is not cakey. It is not cakey unless you apply it to thickly. Those who say it offers no coverage aren't applying enough. I do apply a little more than they show. To cover blemishes you do need to use a different brush, but they include that detail brush with the kits.

Since using this product my roseacea has decreased significaly and I rarely need to use the topical gel product prescribed by my physician. My breakouts are also less severe, and I get compliments on my beautful skin. I don't have beautiful skin at all! I have visible pores and roseacea, but the bare minerals product makes my skin look almost perfect.

I've been using this product way before they started the infomercials, so I dont buy from them, I buy from BM stores as I always have. The only thing I have even close to a complaint is that I noticed a slight decrease in the quality of the brushes when I purchased from a tv shopping show rather than the national makeup store.

I love bare minerals. The first time I used bare minerals was June of 2007 on a trip to Atlanta,GA. My sister in law asked me if i would like to try it. I have very sensative skin and am very leary of new products. I had tried another mineral make up and I got a rash and blisters on my eyelids. It took days for it to go away. So, when I tried bare minerals you can imagine my suprise when no rashes or blisters appeared. I would deffinately recommend bare minerals to any one.

I love Bare Minerals!! I have ordered 24 times from one place and 3 from another, I love the new colors and the fact that you always are being sent new brushes good ones at that also I have been reading all of the complaints about sweating, well we are all human and let me say; all of the make-up you can buy in the world its going to get all over your phone,clothes and other things. The only difference is that bare minerals contains no added oils and therefore does not stain your phone,clothes,etc. I have been a devout customer of bare minerals since 4/30/05 on my husbands bithday i placed my first order, and what a nice present, he loves how my skin looks and feels healthier. I have even gotten my friends hooked on bare minerals. My sister in law has very sensitive skin and she will not wear anything else now.

I have been using Bare Minerals for 2 years now and have never had a bad thing to tell anyone about this product! I didnt buy it over the phone, because I dont normally ever buy anything over the phone. About a month after using the minerals, my husband and I were shopping in the mall and he looked at me and this look came over his face and he said, "that new makeup looks great on you!!" First time he's ever complimented me on my makeup. I used to use liquid foundation, yuck, and will never go back to anything that disgusting again. I love Bare Minerals!!

My sister and I have been using Bare Minerals for four years and have loved it to smitherines! If you apply to makeup like instructed on the infomercial then it works wonderfully. I am in my mid-twenties and still have some problems with acne which Bare Minerals completely conceals. My sister is in her mid-thirties and has some fine wrinkles which Bare Minerals hide perfectly. And it FEELS wonderful. Like you're not wearing anything at all. We are both makeup and beauty buffs and cannot imagine wearing anything else again.

I've been using BE for about 5 years and have had very good results. My skin is blotchy and I have broken capillaries on my cheeks. I use the bisque concealer on these areas first (the concealer brush is a must for this), then the foundation. I apply it with a light buffing motion. Then blush, then a dusting of mineral veil. I rarely have to touch up during the day; if it's a hot day and my face gets a little oily I just brush on a little mineral veil and it's good as new. My skin is definitely healthier since I started using these products. I buy the products online, not through the BE store.

I have been using Bare Minerals for 5 years and I love it. I have struggled with acne my whole life and it has improved since I started using Bare Minerals. I think it provides awesome coverage. My face looks covered, but not caked or fake. The colors blend beautifully together and you can mix and match to find the right shade. I will never go back to a liquid foundation, I am complete happy with this product!

I have used Bare Minerals for several years without a problem. I have purchased it from QVC and will continue to use it. Does it make my skin smooth as a baby's butt? Heck no, but it does make my skin look healthier. I never wore foundation until I purchased Bare Minerals. It took me a few times to figure out how to properly buff it into my face. I have no complaints!

I have used this product for several years and love it. I got my mom (who has very terrible skin issues,) sister (very sensitive skin) and sister-in-law all to use it and we all love it. As others have stated it takes a little practice to get the hang of applying. But it feels much better then those oily, sticky liquids.

I always had a nice even complection that I never wore foundation.Then the fall I turned 39 I was practically hit overnight with the worse case of melasma. I was horrified. I eventually had two laser treatments, at $300.00 each, and couldn\\\'t afford to go further. I needed at least 3-4 more treatments. My face is still so damaged and brown. I watched your infomercials for so long I deceited to give it a try. Of course, I ordered the medium because they said it was the color for most women. Then I waited and waited. Nothing came. I called and asked when was my make-up would be coming. She said it was on back-order. I explained all my drama to her how the laser didn\\\'t help and I couldn\\\'t find anything on the market that really covered me up. Somehow in the conversation it came-up that the medium may be too dark and she offered to send me the light free of charge. I received the medium kit 2 days later and the light a day after that. I was able to mix between the four colors and am one HAPPY customer. I really believe that the light is the best for me and am ordering my second starter kit tonight. I love all the different items in the starter kit. THANK-YOU Bare Minerals!!! And a special thanks to the the operator I talked with. You really did your job that day.

I really am suprised by all these negative comments. I have been a Bare Minerals user for about 2yrs now. At first, they are a little harder to get used to than regular foundation. you need very little to make it work... The more you use, the more you look like a "walking ghost". I found the primer they include in the kit doesn't work for me. I use my own regimine. I also do not buy from the company direct. I buy from [] only. It's the same price and you aren't required to be in any kind of club. Bare MInerals is, I admit, harder to use than the average makeup, but it is worth it. The key; Less is more.
Don't just brush it on.. YOu have to actually buff. Dont press hard, dont stay in one area too long. I really like my results. My skin has fewer blemishes and isn't as dry. Plus, I work in the Operating room and wear a mask all day, my makeup stays on pretty good.

I have been using BM for a couple months. I LOVE IT! I first tried SHEER COVER it was okay, an improvement over discount makeup. I thought that I would try the original mineral makeup (BE). I wanted to check it out in person. I was only planning to check it out and not buy. The sales person was great and not pushy. She took the time to give a full makeover and then took notes and said to wear it while I shopped and see what I thought. The first thing I noticed was how soft the brushes were compared to sheer cover. And then how much finer the powder was. Sheer cover has a concealer that is creamy, which when you add the powder is cakey. BE covers better and eventhough they have a seperate concealer it is not needed, the regular foundation covers. I have a few topical creams that I also use, If I don\'t let them dry before I add BE I will get a streaky look. All creams and lotions need to dry first. I know nothing works for everyone. But I am glad I found this!!

For a few years I had seen infomercials on Bare Escentuals and been interested in trying it for myself. I am not the type to buy things over the phone or over the internet due to the MANY scams out there. I waited until the BM was available in a retail location and went and got the starter kit at a local store. I love it! I am not much of a make up wearer but just wanted a little coverage on those off days that I have. I have now used this for 3 years. I spend $60 a year. I buy the starter kit each time so that I can get new brushes each time. That could be the cause of the scrating and burnin some feel with the brushes. I replace mine each time I get a kit.

I\'ve been using this product for the past 5yrs. I will never go back to a liquid foundation again. I\'ve read the complaints and find it hard to believe. My face looks very natural and smooth with the BM on. People have actually complimented my complexion. My color is med/med beige. I\'ve used warmth and now \'a little sun\' and am happy with both. Their eye shadows are nice but for me it was too messy to put on so I don\'t use them. I\'ve tried some of their lipsticks and mascara and wasn\'t that impressed. Basically I just use it for the foundation and blush. I also use summer bisque and regular bisque as an eye base and concealer and am very happy with them. I tried \'well rested\' and found it had a more sheer coverage-so you have a choice if you want to go heavier or not. Blushes I\'ve tried were \'glee\' \'laughter\' \'true\'. I was happy with all of them. I\'ve introduced 3 other women to this product and all have switched. BM must be doing something right because everyone is following the \'minerals\' foundation. eg.--Loreal, Mary Kay, Pure Minerals, Sheer Coverage, and that blond showbiz reporter.

I purchased a starter kit for $60 from a local [] store two months ago and do not regret my purchase.

I am a multiracial woman with medium dark skin and a bit of hyperpigmentation on my cheeks. I used BM to help cover that up and am satisfied with the coverage that the foundation and mineral veil have given me.

I have been using BM for about two years. I am a 15-year cancer survivor with still-active cancer. This requires me to take a number of medications every day that are hard on the skin. I found this very discouraging for the first 13 years of my cancer as I couldn't find any good makeup to help cover my haggard look. My daughter suggested BM and I bought it at a wholistic pharmacy. I love the product and it takes many years off my looks when I use it. Like all products, however, there may be some who just can't use the product. I certainly would never buy it through the mail. Makeup needs to be tried before purchasing just as shoes should be tried for fit and comfort before buying.

I have been using Bare Minerals for a couple of month now. I decided to try after watching the infomercial a couple of time now and then. I am a hard sell. I don't like to spend money on just anything unless it works and I like it.
I ordered the started kit from [] for $60. I have to say that I really like it. Its light and airy and it doesn't feel like you are wearing makeup. I hate makeup. But I am getting older now and I need something to conceal this skin of mine. It matches really well that you almost can't see it. It doesn't come off on my clothing. And it makes my skin feel smooth.
To comment on some complaints about reactions. I heard someone say that its not for everyone. And its not. I read in a news article that people who are allergic to SPFs or sunscreen will be allergic to any mineral makeup. Whether it be Bare Mineral or Sheer Cover. Any type like that will cause an skin reaction. So if you are having problems then you need to stop using that and sunscreen. Just a note that.

I have been using bare minerals for 4 years and love it! I am not a makeup person, and as I get older, and need a little help it has been great. I love the coverage I get. I can make it as light or heavy as i choose. I have since passed it on to my teenage daughter. She had minor acne and uses the viel everyday. It soaks up any oils on her skin, and protects her face. She looks natural, but is now comfortable with her skin I am so glad it is in stores around us now. I recommend it to everyone

I love this stuff! I have been using it for about a year, and it's the best makeup I have ever used and I have tried many kinds. It does not break out my sensitive skin. I even sleep in the stuff. I always get free gifts with my orders. My brushes are high quality. My skin looks younger. It conceals my flaws but looks perfectly natural. I can't say enough good things about this stuff!
