I have been using Bare Minerals for a couple of months now. My mother purchsed the started kit for me and I love it! She's 57 years old and is also an avid user. My skin looks even, smooth and very natural - I have received many compliments. Light, even application is the key, otherwise you could look like a two dollar hooker if you use too much! Because you only use a minimal amount to look natural, the product lasts longer than regular liquid foundation. I also like that I can match my makeup to my skin tone, which changes seasonally, without having to buy new product. I was also very happy that I could even out my skin tone after having my baby with very little effort! This stuff is great!

I've been using Bare Minerals for 9 years! After all of those years of using wet, slimy foundation, I was thrilled with how Bare Minerals goes on (you MUST follow the directions!) and LASTS all day/night long. After the first week of using it 9 years ago, I got rid of all of my other makeup products except mascara. (I tried their mascara, but sent it back to [] cause it was horrible. That is the ONLY product they make that I don't like.) Yes, this stuff seems pricey at first, but it LASTS longer than any other bottled or caked makeup you will ever buy. So, it ends up costing about the same. But the beneifts FAR outweight the cost. I have exema and VERY sensitive skin, and this makeup makes my face feel and look better than any other product ever did. I am 52 now, and everyone who doesn't know me is shocked that I'm not in my late 30's. I also love the fact that you can go to bed without having to wash your face - the minerals in the makeup are actually good for your skin. Over the last 9 years, I have done that many, many times, totally without guilt. One more tip: I don't like wet eyeliner, and they demonstrate theirs by dipping the eyeliner brush in water and then in the eyeliner powder. For you gals like me who don't like that, you CAN use the eyeliner dry - Just roll the brush in the powder, tap it against the edge of the container, and line away! It lasts all day/night and doesn't look like you've used a marker pen! For refills and more great Bare Minerals products, I would suggest looking for a Bare Essentuals store in your local mall or a cosmetic store that carries it - Most of them do now (I used to have to buy them from that TV shopping channel and pay S/H). I bought my first kit from that famous TV shopping channel, but now can get all the products I need without having to pay S/H by going either to an [] or [] store. Oh, yes, if you go to a [] store, be careful when the employee recommends a color(s). One told me that my blush color should match the color of my lips...well, I looked like a clown! But I was easily able to take it back and exchange it for a more natural color. Another benefit of buying directly from Bare Essentuals. That TV shopping channel allows you to send product back for a refund, too, so you have NOTHING to lose!

I bought Bare Minerals last week & ever since I started using it I have seen a 100% improvement with my skin. Everyone says my skin looks GREAT & I think it looks flawless. It's all in the application process.

I love this product, I've been using it for 2 years and never had any problems , it does the coverage that I needed and doesn't feel like I'm wearing a ton of makeup. I do admit it is slightly messy and comes off very easily, then what makeup doesn't do that. I realized and everyone else should too, its not a miracle makeup, its to help cover up some imperfection that most of us have, well all. If used properly you shouldn't have much problem. I have the T so it works wonderful on me and my friends loved it, tho I do admit it might not work on oily skin, because I have one friend who face got slightly cakey but its not as bad as people make it seem. I ordered mine from [] and I LOVE [], if you are not fully satified w/ the product even after used you can return it w/ no question ask. Learn your lesson people, got to the store and buy it, they usually carry products in the store. For makeup...go to the store at least they'll help you with what work best for your skin.

I love Bare Minerals!!! I've been using it for 2 years now. I'm in my 40's and it does not settle into the line of my skin. It never looks flaky, and my skin always looks dewy when I have it on. I have no problem with it at all.

I liked the product so much, I not only just re-ordered it, I bought a new kit for my sister and guess what--she loves it too! My oily face feels cleaner, when I sweat, it doesn't "melt" off and it really does give good coverage for less than perfect skin. It doesn't get clogged in my pores. The warmth really does give me a healthy glow. I would definately recommend this product.

I take phone orders for Bare Minerals, and I've compared prices in the stores: 1) With the infomercial offer, you get the three brushes, 2 foundations, mineral veil, warmth, lavendar compact, well-rested eye shadow, and DVD for 59.99 + shipping. In the [] stores, the three brushes BY THEMSELVES are $57.00! How is this kit a "ripoff" when it virtually gives you something that is sold so expensively elsewhere? 2) In the script, which we're required to read word-for-word, it claims that this is a 60 day supply of the foundation--so it's not *suppossed* to be a ton of product. If you *need* more of it, you can have your shipments adjusted to arrive more frequently, and you can cancel them whenever you want. If the foundation in the stores truly *is* cheaper, then buy the starter kit and cancel your future shipments! You'll still end up saving money.
3)At least at my call center, we are *required* to tell people that they're being enrolled in the club "so you'll never have to worry about running out." If you didn't know you were being enrolled in the club, then I would recommend that you call customer service and ask to listen to the recording of your call. (all the calls at our center are recorded) If someone didn't tell you about it, you could get them fired. :)
Bare Escentuals really is a good company, and they're one of the few infomercials that I take calls for that is 100% up front about their practices and product. I just hate to see them lumped in with the rest of these guys.....

I've used Bare Minerals for about 8 months now, and I love it. It's the first product I've found that gives me good coverage without looking greasy or nonexistant by the end of the day. On days when I have dark circles under my eyes, or a zit I mix a little of the foundation with some water and it makes an excellent "concealer". I don't see myself going back to "regular" foundation ever again.

I've been using Bareminerals for about 1 1/2 years and I have no complaints about it. I'm African American and find that the product does give great coverage and matches my skintone. It doesn't settle into pores or dry my skin out like some complaints. I have to agree, if it's doing that, too much is being used. I get lots of compliments and was mistaken for a college graduate on a campus recently(I'll be 37 in August). I've also always taken good care of my skin, and before this product, hated wearing makeup on my face. I won't say it's the makeup necessarily, but I haven't broken out since using it.

I have been using Bare Minerals for almost 4 years & absolutely love it! I understand the complaints about it making skin look dry & flaky, but that means you are using too much. It takes some time to get used to applying. If you can see it, you've used too much. I usually swirl it on the brush and tap out the excess, apply it and walk away from the mirror. When I return the minerals have had time to do their thing & I finish applying my makeup. My mother & friends have been telling me that I have gotten more beautiful as I've aged....I am 47 and my secret is Bare Minerals! Debbie

I have been looking for a new foundation since one manufacturer stopped making my favorite foundation. I've tried just about every brand and I wasn't happy. I saw Leslie Blodgett on [] and decided to try the Bare Minerals foundation. I absolutely love it. It takes some practice to get the hang of it. I disagree that the foundation is only for women under 35. I'm 44 and it makes my skin look great and gives it a great glow. I don't look my age as I have been taking care of my skin and using a sunscreen since I was 20. Maybe the 50ish woman was using too much. I think the key is to use a little. I wish I had discovered Bare Minerals years ago!!

I absolutely love this product! It took me a few tries to figure out how to apply and get the coverage I wanted but after that it was easy. I do want to say that in my experience with bare minerals it does not make my fine lines show up or crease into them. I am in my 30's and am very concerned about makeup creasing into the fine lines around my eyes. This makeup does not do that to me. I think this makeup is for any age not just young people. It just gives me an overall glow that I just don't acheive from any other makeup I have used.

I have very sensitive skin, and break out very easily. I tried Bare Minerals after my previous cosmetic manufacturer went out of business. I didn't hold out a lot of hope, since rarely are infomercial items what they claim to be. All I can say now is-WOW! I disagree with the other poster who said this make up is only for women 35 and under. What nonsense. I'm 41 and have been using it for around 2 years now. It covers beautifully. It took a few days to figure out how to combine the foundation colors to come up with my own "perfect" shade, but I did. It is very, very gentle, and as a result, I don't break out nearly as much as I used to. I will never use anything else. I didn't join the club--I just order from the website. I have had no problems with billing.

I use bare minerals and I love it.. SO do ALL my friends who have tried it. I reccommmend it to everyone who doesn't have perfect skin and wants their face to look great!!! I can't see how women are saying its bad.. Well first off 50+ women shouldn't even be wearing makeup like it. It is meant for ages 15-35.. Not older women with harsh lines. I use it and love it so take my adive and buy it.

I have been using Bare Minerals for quite a while, and I love it. I had roseacia, and now my face is much calmer & most of the redness & dryness is gone. With the concealer brush, the Bare Minerals powder actually DOES cover. It's pretty amazing. I'll never use a different makeup again.

I've been a Bare Minerals user for about two years now. When I first started out with Bare Minerals, I had horrible excema all over my face. I was a scabby, bleeding/weepy, swelled-up mess. I assumed I would never be able to wear makeup and...well...I'd always be ugly because of the way my face looked. When I caved and bought a Bare Minerals infomercial kit, I just wanted something that wasn't going to further aggravate my excema, plus would cover up the rashes on my face so I didn't look like I'd been in a bad fight or something. That was it. But Bare Minerals gave me so much more than that. Bare Minerals makes no promises about helping people like me, but it did so much more for me than I thought it would. The minerals in the powders helped keep my face calm, so it wasn't so quick to start itching on me. It gave my skin a chance to heal. Now my excema is almost totally gone. I do have some other blemishes to hide--mostly acne scars and just a little bit of leftover excema-related blemishes near the apples of either of my cheeks. But that's it. About covering up blemishes...it's not explained in the infomercial, but I've seen Leslie Blodgett (CEO of Bare Minerals) do this on live presentations on [], which also offers this makeup. It helps to press the concealing brush into the minerals but *not* swirl or tap, then dab the minerals directly on the blemishes instead of actually brushing/buffing them in. If worse comes to worse, you could even get away with using your finger to start with--press your fingertip into the minerals, directly apply them to your face, then use the concealing brush to soften the edges out so it blends in with the rest of your skin. Also--if you don't happen to have any acne creams, any of the Bare Minerals powders makes a *great* quick overnight fix for pimples. Just apply the powder directly to your acne with your finger--*not* with a brush. Let that sit overnight, and by the time you wake up in the morning, that pimple will either be gone or much smaller than it was a few hours ago. I don't know if it's really the minerals that's responsible for this, or if it's just the fact that the powder's helping the pimple dry itself out because it's powder, but it works. I love Bare Minerals, and their makeup line is an *excellent* product. I know that this might not work with everyone, but it works for me, and I'm very loyal to this brand. I wouldn't dare putting anything else on my face. I owe a great debt to this company, and to Leslie Blodgett, for helping me. I never would've imagined, with my horrible, uber-sensitive skin, that I'd be able to wear makeup at all. It's just that there's a learning curve involved with using this product. If you use too much, your skin will most likely come out looking dry and flaky and will even make fine lines or wrinkles stand out--not what anyone wants, especially when Bare Minerals promises to *reduce* signs of aging. Also--if you participate in the beauty club and you're using up those jars of foundation and Mineral Veil before your 3 (?) months are up, you're using way too much powder per application. WAY too much. I had to quit the Bare Minerals beauty club because I had all these jars of minerals piling up and it was becoming a waste of my money because they were being too generous with what they were giving me. Even when I tried pushing the "subscription" out to 6 months, it wasn't good enough--it took me the better part of a year to finish just one shipment of minerals. So be careful of that too. Personally, I suggest that you get your replacement minerals as you need them--just go to an [] or [] to pick them up. Anyway. All in all--just be patient and realize that you have to learn how to use the minerals properly first. If it still doesn't work for you for whatever reason, fine--just don't bash this company because it's not trying to scam anyone. It's a legitimate company that makes high-quality, legitimate products. This company's been around since the 70's, if I remember correctly--it's definitely NOT a fly-by-night operation. And please don't bash the product, either. Just because it might not work for everyone, it doesn't suddenly mean that it's a fraudulent product. It worked for me. It did so much more for me than I expected it would. I'm very thankful for what it's done for me. --Theresa

I have really enjoyed the mineral foundation. I have used it for over a year and could not be happier with it. I just have one suggestion, don't order the kit with the automatic shipments, I didn't. When I first saw it online I went straight to [] to buy the foundation alone for about 20 bucks, tried it and loved it and have ordered more since. Always pay attention to the foundation gram weight, it does make a big difference. The biggest size can last me 6 months (and I pay about 25 bucks for it []). I thinks it's .9 grams, not the small .03 often marketed to get you to keep spending every month. As for the coverage I can cover as much as I want. If I lay on more powder I get more coverage and it really does cover up imperfections. I love it!!!

Leeza Gibbons does not sell Bare Minerals. Her informercial is for Sheer Cover, a different product. I bought Bare Minerals through the infomercial. They did not automatically sign me up for the club. They asked (and yes, pressured) me if I wanted to join, but I said no. I am still using the blush from that shipment. It lasts forever. The foundation and mineral veil last a long time too. The infomercial deal is definitely better than buying each product plus the brushes separately. I have recommended Bare Minerals to several people who have then become loyal users. There is a Bare Escentuals store at my local mall, so I don't have to buy my refills online, but I'm glad I bought their infomercial intro package. Bare Minerals is also available at [] stores and [].

I am very careful about what I put on my face and most of the time I dont wear make up at all because of the crap in it. I grew up in a household that uses foundation that leaves marks on your face and feels like a mask. I actually sleep in my Bare Minerals make up and I dont even have a blemish on my face. If I did that with a foundation I would have zits galore. I swear by Bare Minerals and it is one of the best buys I have purchased off an infomercial and I cant say that about too many of them. When I run out of my Bare Minerals I run down to Ulta to pick up a replacement when I dont have time to buy it off the website. I recommend this product to my friends and family and I used Clinique before this product because it wasnt as harsh as other make ups but now Bare Minerals is my number one choice.
