Hey out there! Just wanted to give my two cents. I ordered the Carlton products a few months ago... with the works (dvd's and extras). I've got to say that for the most part I'm completely happy with the product. For those willing to follow and study the information provided it's a great start to your investing career. I'm currently working on my 2nd property, and as good as things are looking so far I won't be slowing down anytime soon. It may be anoying to get the extra sales calls from the company, but if you're doing well you might actually accept one or two of them. If not, just learn how to say "NO THANK YOU", and end the call. You don't owe anyone but yourself any explanations. I do suggest you give it an honest effort though, it's really not too difficult. Also, it can be fun. Other material to get would be the Rich Dad/Poor Dad books (from any bookstore). To your prosperity, Fred.

I purchased the Carlton Sheets product and IT WORKS!!! The house I live in was bought with no credit (good), none of my own money and it is recorded at the county. I spent two weeks at a seminar with Carlton and the man is an honest man whom I have repect for. It is funny how all the whiners never even really tried to use the course!!!!!

I bought the $9.95 Carlton Sheets No money down. I returned it within 30 days and as his infomercial claimed I 'owed nothing more'... I was never chanrged anything else. Later I found out a friend of mine was using it and now we both make money using Carlton Sheets course. It's awesome.

I started off excited about the prospects of the program, but lost interest and motivation shortly after purchasing it. However, in dealing with Sheets' company, I have never had any bad or negative experiences...I just need to get off my butt and take the course by the horns.

It is funny how loosers talk. They allways seem to be the ones getting ripped off. I have purchased several course's from Carlton Sheets I have now retired from using his materials. I have had my tape deck eat up some of his tapes, I called his service dept. sent the eaten tapes back and they replaced them for a very nominal fee. I think that his material is like anything else in life you get out of it what you put into it.

I bought the Carleton Sheets no down payment course in 1996, I bought another in 2004. I currently own $1.5 million dollars in real estate and frankly his course changed the way I generally conduct buisness. This propelled me in my line of work to making $100.000.00 per year. To top this I am an Immigrant originally from Wales UK,My Point being, I had to learn in a foreign country. Trust me I thank Mr Sheets Daily, but remember knoledge is only a vehicle YOU HAVE TO DRIVE IT.

I recieved my Carlton Sheets materials a week ago. I can't believe people think it's a scam!! I read through what others thought about it and found a common theme: None put the information in the materials to work. From the beginning they were looking for a way out! The information is incredible. I've called the help line (free for the first 30 days) and they are very helpful and will answer any question. I think some people buy this and expect a big check inside for $20,000. When they don't get it they send it back and scream like a baby. I can't wait to get my first house and I will with this course. All the information is real and even other realtors and mortgage lenders agree with me. I would recommend this to anyone who is serious about buying homes. If you're looking for a real scam read about read about the guy who copied everything and got his money back.

Most of the complaints have to do with return and customer service issues. This is a common problem with most business and the ratio seen here is probably at an acceptable level. What about the business itself? btw- my favorite complaint was from the woman who claimed to have "copied all the discs and manual" before returning. Ever hear of Karma?

Maybe the part of his company that handles billing isn't the greatest but the product is a very good one for people who are willing to get off their a## and actually do what he says. I have made alot of money buying real estate. Oh and for the moron who said "if it works why isn't he doing it". He did!

I'm actually not writing to defend Mr. Sheets, as I do not know him personally and am not affiliated with him in any way. I just feel that having read the many negative comments, a few words of advice and my personal experience needs to be conveyed. In 1998 I purchased Mr. Sheets "No Money Down" course. As many of you, I watched his infomercial for many years and questioned its authenticity. I had read about many of these self proclaimed "experts" having gone bankrupt ro even worse...to jail. I also asked myself, "If there is so much money to be made in the buying and selling of real estate, why on Earth is this guy wasting his time selling a $160 course. Firstly, with a national audience and cheap cable advertising, $160 times literally tens of thousands of customers is quite a lot of money. Secondly, a lot of people give their time to educate others as a means of "giving back" and for some, also to satisfy their own ego as the "guru." Finally, by getting a lot of people to follow his concepts, it opened Seller's minds to negotiate with Buyers who are proposing heretofore rarely heard of deals, thus making it far easier for many to get involved in real estate to whatever extent they desire. For years I considered owning my own "piece of the rock" and for the same reasons as many of you, just never took the first step. One day, while watching Carlton's commercial for the umpteenth time, I finally heard him say that you should invest in this course, if for no other reason than to get the knowledge to allow you to buy your own home. Having been reassured that there would be a full and unconditional refund in 30 days if not completely satisfied, at the request of my wife we went ahead and purchased the course. We bought our first home with only 5% down and two years later, bought the house next door, which had been a rental for many years. Well, we lived in one of the top areas of the country and had twice the space as our small apartment. After four years, we sold our home for $250,000 more than we paid for it and thanks to the new tax laws, paid no capital gain tax. We have just finshed a renovation of our second house and if sold today, we would clear another $500,000, which we are considering, again, to save on paying any capital gains taxes. Now, I will say that we have pristine credit and despite claims to the contrary, this is the only sure way of getting banks to loan you money. So, if you are a deadbeat, don't count on any course like this to be the answer to your prayers. Instead, get a secured credit card, charge everything you buy including your lunch and pay your bills on time. After a while, you can get additional unsecured cards and build your credit back up again. There is no other way and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. As for all of the negative feedback, I read many of them and am amazed these respondents even wasted their time writing to or calling this agency. All they had to do is call their credit card company and say there was a 30 day money back guaranty and they would immediately credit your card for the full amount. Then, the weight would be on the seller to prove otherwise. Most of these people probably don't have credit cards or credit and that, my freinds, is why credit is so important. As for Carlton Sheets, I cannot thank him enough.

I was surprised to see all the negative press about Mr Sheets on your website. My experience has been one very different from your unhappy people. By using the Carolton Sheets Real Estate Course, I now have a net worth of $217000 and have been extremely grateful for Carolton Sheets' courage over the many decades that he has been willing to put it all on the line to help others. Oh yes; one thing that I did not tell you yet; I am a disabled American veteran.

To all those who feel that the Carlton Sheets course is a scam I ask this. Did you even really try to put the techniques to work or did you look at it and say this is too hard? He is very up front about the fact that this is going to take some work on your part. He says "This is not a get rich quick program it is a get rich slow program. How slow depends upon the time and effort you are willing to put into it." And yes all the information he presents IS available for free on the internet; but, not all in the same place. Everyone who is getting collection calls years later, be certain that you are actually dealing with PEI and not a scam artist who comprimised their database. I had a very similar thing happen with a reader service. After I had words with them one time the operator actually hung up on me. I got mad and called the customer service number and spoke with someone who told me that I didn't owe anything and she doesn't know who would be calling.

as i read over all of the complaints for this product i feel the need to respond seeing as i do customer service for a real estate course very similar to this program. It kills me that people don't want to take responsability for their actions when ordering products and obviously a 30day trial is not a three month trial but we do allow time for shipping. Some things we have no control over as far as an order being cancelled and we really can't cancel after order is placed the course does ship out pretty quickly but as far as our product being a scam that is crazy how could a company that has supposedly scammed so many people stay in business for over 25 years and still be in business. I am so tired of people crying about being billed but never following instructions obviously if a person can't follow simple return instructions real estate investing is not within their comprehension capabilities. so please stop ordering and complaining because we do not scam people i am not trying to convince anyone of this i am just so sick of hearing you people bitch and moan.

It's entertaining for me to see all of the negative comments surrounding this product. You want to make 1 million dollars within 5-10 years off of real estate investing yet you don't have the patience to wait 3 weeks, instead of 2 for the product to arrive? Sounds like you're looking for a get rich quick scheme, and this is not one. There is no such thing except "rob a bank" or "sell drugs". I'm 23 years old and using this system have been able to purchase 2 properties in 6 weeks paying about 75% of fair market value for both. I stand to make tens of thousands of dollars within weeks if I decide to sell them. If a 23 year old kid with no college, ZERO investing knowledge and ZERO real estate knowledge can buy equitable properties in less than 2 months of receiving the package, and some of you can't...trust me, it's not Carlton who isn't delivering.

I reviewed the package my son got a few years ago. Being in the mortgage industry for 35 years (was a licensed Realtor in Georgia for 10 years) , I listened to a large part of the course. I found useful information on the course, i.e. discounted mortgages (A Real Estate Broker I worked with purchased discounted mortgages), landlord advice and some creative financing and forms. I never used the course but the information itself has some validy. Dealing with them for refunds might be a different matter. An alternative would be purchasing books. If anyone had used Carlton's course in the last 12 months and purchase real estate in Florida, with the increase in values, you could have made hugh profits in equity appreication. Real Estate is a much better investment than anything else you can invest in. So, if you purchased the course and get stuck, read it, study it and try to buy at least one property and in time you will get your money back and then some depending on how wise you are in selecting the property. Research the market first, make sure they are no declining values. Go on the County Web Site, go in and look at property tax records and research the prior sales history in the neighborhood to validate increasing values. Be an educated an investor.

I purchased the Carlton Sheets cource in May 2004, I followed the instructions in the course. In December I closed on my 15th property total value of all properties owned $2,350,000.00. and I a]have a positive cash flow of $50,000.00 per year, yes that is spendable money, after all expenses are paid. Principle, interest, insurance etc. It will work, but you have to follow the program.

I ordered the No Down Payment course about 5 weeks ago and it came to my house in about 10 days. I wanted to pay for it when I ordered the course but was told to wait the 30 days to see if I really wanted it. I knew before hand that I was going to keep it and after reading 1/2 way through the course, I know I was right to begin with. As in anything one tries to do, you have to give it 100% effort and not go along with the crowd and say it won't work even before you try any of the ideas stated in the course. As an old saying goes, Even in a perfect world, there would be some that would find some kind of fault to complain about. And I will wave at them as I go to the bank every month as I make my deposits. Thanks much for the info in the course. Donald

Personally I would love to meet some of the people that have complaints. Honestly, there are people that unfortunately get charged for things that go wrong, and you know everyone makes mistakes. But some of the people that have written in to this, I can damn well bet, have been some of the same stupid people that call in to our company to return the product. Almost all of the problems come from people not LISTENING! If you don't want it then say NO. It is not our fault if you dont listen. We DO tell you exactly how many pymnts you'll be making and how much each pymnt is. We follow scripting! Plus, if you see a charge on your credit card, then CALL THE FIRST TIME that you see it. Dont' wait half a year before you realize the hlpline is being billed to you. The helpline is free for the first THIRTY days and then it is billed to you wheter you use it or not. Not only that but we allow you more than your thirty days to view the damn course. We provide you with FORTYFIVE. We allow fifteen for shipping and then we start the thirty days, but regardless we charge you on the fortieth day. Obviously if you don't get your package within 7 to 10 business days which is the normal for shipping then CALL. Duh. Plus if your product is for thirty days the minute you get it you better call where you got it from just to check when it has to be back.COMMON SENSE. Some of you people out there are just plain stupid. You can't return a product a month after it was due. That's why half of these people out there get charged. They return it late and yes you will pay for it because it was late. You didn't follow instructions! You can't buy a pair of jeans from the store and expect a full refund for it two months later when it says on the back of receipt that it has to be back in thirty days for that. I dont' see why you think it's any different when it's on the tv.
