I saw the informercial on television and was hooked instantly because it just looked like so much fun! I don't like using my phone much so I decided to check it out online. I went to the official website, looked around a bit, and ended up ordering the starter package and the body sculpting videos. It wasn't until after I placed my order that I went searching the internet for reviews and found this site. Honestly, it scared me to death! I read all of the horror stories and thought that I was going to be another victime. The next day I called the customer service line, thinking that I would be on hold for a long time, but after holding for less than five minutes a representitive picked up. I told him that I wanted to verify my order and asked if I had been hooked into a plan where they keep charging my card and sending videos and he made me feel so much better. My order was going through fine and I would not be charged for anything else in the future. I had ordered my videos on a Sunday night and received them that Friday! It was much faster than I had expected. Now I'm using the videos frequently and can tell that I'm already toning up which was exactly what I wanted to do! Since then there have been no random charges to my debit card and I must say that I am completely satisfied. I love this product!

I stumbled upon the complaints of core rhythms on the internet. I had already bought the DVDs and received them in the mail. When I read the complaints I was afraid that I was scammed in some way or was GOING to be scammed, but that was not the case! I ordered the starter pack and, yes, they did offer a bunch of other DVDs, but I thought of it more as window shopping than hassling. I order my DVD's online and they arrived promptly at my home. I don't know what everyone is talking about. In my experience, I used the online option to order the product and I had success! Core Rhythms is awesome! It's fun and hip. I've been doing this for a week and my waist has widdled down already.

I did not have any of the problems I've seen listed on this site. I ordered my DVD's about 3 weeks ago. I recieved them within aprox. 10 days. I ordered the full package (139.95) This was a lot of dvd's many to choose from. (so I won't get bored)
I had one problem, a couple of the dvd's would not play. I called the customer service number and was immediatly talking to a very nice gentleman who said no problem we will ship you new DVD's do not worry about it. Well, 7 days later I received my new DVD's (and some extra ones) and all play beautifully.
I was impressed with the workout and so far am loving the workout, but if you are just starting out definitely use the kick start dvd first. Go slow and have fun!!!!

Wow they must have really improved their customer service. I am glad I did not read the site before I did my order because it may have caused me not to order the product. I can tell you that I placed my order on Monday and the Customer Service office was closed so I used the automated system and I was not sure that they had the shipping address corect so I called back the next day and got a hold of a customer service rep really quickly and they confirmed that my package was already on it's way and I got it on Friday with no issue. I have already used the DVD, and I love it, now I want to look like I do Latin Dancing.

I have ordered this product, and after I ordered it I found this site. And I got nervous reading all of the complaints. But I can say, that I had no problems getting this product and there was no problems with the product itself.
I am sorry for the problems that others have had, but I have to give a response for what has happened to me.

I did not have any problems placing my order online. I placed on the core rhythms website for the starter package and sculpting series. It is suppose to include the Kick Start DVD, Full Workout DVD, Quick Workout DVD, Latin Dance Made Easy DVD, The Dancer's Diet Guide, Lower Body Sculpt DVD, Latin Cardio Jam DVD, Secret to Sexy ABS DVD and as a bonus ABS in a Hurry. I did not see the $14.95 option as some said. I got a choice of full price $59.85 plus S & H or 3 payments of 19.95 plus S&H. Which I think is a awesome price for 8 DVD's! I also didn't have a problem receiving my email confirmation. I got it in about 5 mins after placing my order. Maybe some of the complaints were not using the official website? I will post again once my order is received or if I have a problem with it.

well first of all i want to say that i ordered from t.v. commercial came out to $49.90 for the starter package (4 dvds) and i just absoutley love it. i automatically started on the full workout, this is my 2nd day on it. i enjoy every minute of it. i am already a latin dancer but for other music like tejano etc. and so the moves were very easy for me. already i can go through the whole video. i luv it and i recommend it. it is so much fun and the different views that it has on the dvds helps out a lot more.

I saw the infomercial on tv one day and decided to look into ordering it. Now, as many others have stated, you do NOT have to order off the core rhythms website. I actually went to the official site, saw how much it was and what you would get and then compared prices at other sites. I actually got the same 4 dvds for $10 less at a as seen on tv site vs. the core rhythms. Honestly, I do not see how anyone could think this product is a scam or does not bring results. I can see people blaming the product for not working if they are not motivated and not doing it correctly. It is really fun and the best work out dvd I have ever owned. I am really excited to see my results as i continue to work out every day (i hope!) I recommend it to anyone! No matter how old or young. It is easy to adjust to make it simpler for you! After all, it is just dancing with a little twist

First off, ordered 2 full sets of the DVD's; one for myself, and one for roommate - expensive maybe, but cheaper than buying exercise equipment or dealing with gym memberships.
5 minutes in to the starter video; you will realize exactly how out of shape you are; and how effective this program will be. I remember well :)
One month into using this daily for 20 minutes - 23 lbs & 2 inches from waist alone -- gone. Not to mention what it's doing for my overall stamina.
I won't comment on any subscription horrors that I've read about; since I ordered all mine up front, but I can say-this product works, better than I anticipated.
As for those saying that it doesn't offer any teaching - ignore them; they ordered the wrong DVD, one indicated they ordered the AB video; which they should have ordered the "starter pack" - which has 1 DVD solely for teaching. This is the one to start with. After you are done with that video in the rear of the box; then go on to one of the other DVD's included in the starter pack. Maybe a better clarificaiton from the maker or numbering them in some sense would have helped stop at least those complaining about the lack of insruction. But to me and most of the world... when embarking on a new exercise program; it does make sense to begin with something labelled "STARTER" -- mystery solved.

I just bought the starter pack (club) 2 weeks ago. Arrived this past Wednesday (2/6/08) and I started with the Kick Start yesterday. Did it twice. Did the full workout today to the best of my ability which wasn't awful. Had to stop and breathe a couple times! Ha! Ha! :) Having a blast though and I've already lost 1" in my waist! How awesome is that! I think I will do the Kick Start though a few more times before I work back up to the full workout. But, I would highly, highly recommend!

I ordered the 39 dollar set of 4 DVD's it was 49 with shipping and I love them, I have only been doing it for one week and lost 2 inches in my waist and 1 and a half on my hips, I also mind you do these two times a day..and diet with drinking lots of water..I have found the Quick Workout is better for me, the full workout I have trouble keeping Rhythms but with the Quick I get into the grove..its alot of fun...My advise is get the set with the Kick Start so you can get the 3 movements down before moving on, also to get in shape for it, its alot of ab movement...Best workout video I have ever owned...for all those complaining about the membership if you get the 14 dollar offer, its all in the terms..NEVER buy something and not read all the way through..Core Rhythms are great...its hard work but well worth it....

I read up about this and read that many people were having problems with ordering from their website, so I ordered it from amazon. My kit came with 4 DVD. The interactive Kick Start, Latin Dancing Made Easy, Quick Workout, and Full. I have only tried the Kick Start. It's 3 ten minute sessions that really focus on showing you the 3 core moves. I broke a sweat! I really feel it in my abs so far! I haven't tried any of the other DVD's because I want to do the kick start a few more times to really get the moves down before starting the real workout! I'm so excited!

I was considering ordering off the internet when one day, strolling through [], I found the four pack dvd set for $39.99. I bought it and I love it. I actually saw a difference within the first week. I never knew that Latin dancing could be so much fun and so challenging. I am still on the Kick-start dvd but is looking forward to doing the full workout. So for those of you who are hesitant about ordering online or via phone, try your nearest [] store, you may be lucky and find one left on the shelf. I am sure they are going fast!

Okay, so I complained about poor refund policies and non-receipt of my purchase price. After a few e-mails, I have received my refund and when asked, they confirmed the receipt of my package (prior to refund, of course.) I still have issues with the teachers and their methods, but relating to money and refunds - all is now well. I figured if I complained, I should also defend since my main concern has been addressed and solved.

I too went on the website and read the 2 different offers. I opted for the $14.95 one because I could not afford the "non club membership" one. I figured that I'd buy one more video and cancel. I'm glad I got the membership, the videos are awesome!! I've already lost 13lbs and 4 inches from my waist! (the last time I checked a week ago). but I think I even lost another inch because I had to go to another notch on my belt this morning!!!!! and I only do it 2-3 times a week!! imagine if I did it more often! Yes, it's a little hard but after a few tries it's easy. And who said losing weight and getting in shape was supposed to be easy? PLUS, who thought latin dancing was easy anyway! puhleeze!!! I see that most of the people who are complaining are people who ordered through the telephone rather than the internet. I'll admit that their's probaby something wrong with the telephone ordering but most of the people complaining aren't complaining about the actual product. At least try it, it says you can cancel at anytime, what's one more DVD in your collection? Plus, it's an exercise video to boot. It's safe to assume that you're ordering the DVD to lose weight and learn some salsa dance. And another side note, if you haven't learned by now to do your research on infomercial products (let alone ANY product you plan to spend money on but ESPECIALLY infomercial products), then you must be new in the world. That should have been a lesson learned 20 yrs ago.

I ordered Core Rythms last year and I joined the membership club where I receive a new DVD every month and I LOVE it. It\'s the best dance workout DVD on the market. Yes, the dances are tough but don\'t you want to be challenged? And I had absolutely no problems with their billing practices. My only question is are they going to make any more DVD\'s because I think I\'ve received them all. I love dancing and I love this workout. It\'s challenging, fun and it works.

In defense of Core Rhythms, I went to their website on the 24th of June, 2007 while surfing the net. I ordered the $39.95 Starter Pack which came to $49.90 after shipping charges were added. Immediately after ordering this online, I noticed that I didn't get a recept to my email address which usually happens after placing an online order. However, I had forgotten to look in my anti spam mail, which is where it went to. So if you're ordering online, make sure to double check your spam. Then I went thru a short period of worrying when I spotted the scam link right after placing my order, saying that this company was scamming people. However, this was not my experience thankfully. I ordered it on a Sunday, the exact amount was deducted from my account on a Tuesday and my package arrived in perfect condition to Long island from California by Friday morning. I was very pleased. I would suggest ordering online rather than placing the order by phone, because everything is in black and white and totally less frustrating. Yes they make the same offers online that they do on the phone, but, when you click on the NO selection at least you know that it went thru correctly and you see what your exact total will come to. All in all, my experience with Core Rhythms was a positive one and I felt they deserved a positive feedback in their defense. Thanks!

I have been exercising to Core Rhythms since August 2006 and have enjoyed the product, my body looks great! I have lost over 37lbs with the help of Core Rhythms and never had any billing problems, yes the introductory fee of 14.95 is a little misleading because you actually end up spending 24.90per month, but think about it you will pay more to enroll in a dance class to learn latin dance, plus its not as fun. My only concern is I suddenly stopped receiving the dvds after March, thank God I haven't been charged, but I really enjoyed the product and recommend it to anyone who loves to dance and get their body into shape.
