I have been using Dr.Ho's muscle massager for over 10 years now. As a suffer of chronic neck and back pain, I have found Dr.Ho's massager a miracle. Stiff trapezeus muscles across the neck and shoulders, upper back etc are all released. Over all are muscles is a thin covering called fascia, when stimulated by this machine, the fascia relaxes, hence muscles relax and pain is reduced. Usually in about 20 mins real releif is felt! Many of my friends are also Dr. Ho users. Just remember to wet the pads before using. After use, gently rinse off leaving them damp before you return them to their tray, this will ensure they stick next time you use them. If used properly and regularily, Dr. Ho's muscles massager can give real pain relief!

My husband bought the Dr. Ho massager for me as a gift. What an awesome tool! I was spending hundreds of dollars a month on massages because of muscle pain and tightness, and this amazing thing did the trick for me. I got unbelieveable relief from this massager. I also never had any trouble getting the pads to stick. Unfortunately, the on/off switch on my machine broke after 3 months. DR. Ho's customer service was outstanding. First they tried to help me fix it over the phone, and then they offered me a full refund, because I couldn't get a replacement (they were having trouble importing them to the US). Even if I hadn't received a refund it would have been less than I would have paid a masseuse in the 3 months it was working. I check almost every month to see if they are up and producing in the US yet.

We have had our Dr Ho for about 10years.I used it often for some chonic issues with my shoulder and back. As of late, my husband has used it for his tennis elbow with profound relief. The hardest part of using this is finding out where to put the thing for the most benifit. We have had to buy new pads, obviously. And people need to realize they need to stay moist when not in use. Read the directions people.
The other problem is they are not big enough pads for back areas, like those used on me by my chiropracter. You have to move them around too much to find the right spots.

I have been using Dr. Ho's Muscle Massage for 10 years and have found it extremely helpful in managing my pain. I have Chronic Myofascial Pain and Fibromyalgia. The unit allows me better pain management so I can now drive longer distances, attend functions, mow the grass, and do some of the things that previously led to such increased pain levels that i spent days just managing pin levels while the rest of the world went on with their lives. I remember when I purchased the first massage unit, it had just 2 pads. I used it for a large portion of my day switching it between my shoulders, my lower back and SI areas. I often expressed the wish for a unit with more pads. So when the 4 pad unit came out I was very grateful.
I love the large pads, they bring even greater relief. I know when I first purchased the product I had to replace the pads and wires frequently because I used it so much and I was probably not careful enough to keep wrapping the wires in the same direction for storage. If the pads won't stick or they feel prickly when you place them they need some moisture and/or you need to move the position slightly. For those with problems keep trying. TENS, ultrasound and many physiotherapy techniques increase my pain levels so although I know Dr Ho's muscle therapy may not be the solution for all people for me it was and is a lifesaver. I know if I do things that increase my pain and muscle contractions I can do something myself to decrease both these things and that is so empowering when you deal with chronic pain on a daily basis. My biggest fear used to be that the time would come when I would no longer be able to get the replacement parts but that has not been a problem and since I see Dr Ho is still on the air I hope it will not be in the future. Thanks to Dr Ho my pain may not be totally gone but it is so much more manageable and therefore life is better.

I love Dr. Ho\\\'s massage machine. Not only do I use it, so does my girlfriend and oldest son. My 14 year old son has used it after football games and workouts for the last 3 years. I use it on my wrists after web designing all day. I also use it on my lower back and neck. It\\\'s a lot cheaper than a $60 an hour massage therapist. All you naysayers are just too lazy to learn how to use it properly.

My mom and I have had Dr Ho's product for several years. It works great for tense muscles. I logged on to find one for my brother and found that they aren't sold in the US anymore! I just got back from upstate NY. Wish I had known this at the time and I would have gone to Canada!

I had one for about 4 years and loved it.When Katrina hit my home in Slidell ,La I thought that I took it with me when I fled before the storm, but I only had the new pads that I had just bought. I loved this product and can not understand anyone not loving it.All of my kids(adults) loved it too.It gives a great massage. I am now trying to order a new one.

A friend of mine loaned me her unit. It has been a lifesaver to me. I will use it at night as I am going to bed & when I wake in the morning, I do not have the lower back pain I always have. I also use it while I am driving, keeps me from being stiff when I get out of the car. I think it is a great product! I just wish I could afford one for myself!

I have used this machine for at least 7 years. Never replaced the pads, but do need to at this time. It works perfectly for muscle tightness; tension; muscle soreness. I have used it on neck; shoulders; and up and down the spine. I love it. The compact size is awesome for travel, which is when I need it the most. No plug ins needed and it fits in my purse. Thank you for a wonderful product.

I read the other side of the story where some of the people disn't like this product, but I have really enjoyed having this muscle massager. After buying it, I would hate to go without it. It has really helped me. I can't say I am pain free, I don't believe I will ever be, but I am a firm believer in this product. When I had insurance that would pay for a chiropractor, he would use a machine simular to this to help my muscels relax so he could move my spine. I was so excited when I saw this on the TV. I have had my machine for over 5 years and the only thing I have ever had to replace is the pads. My pads lasted a lot longer than a month too. If you take care of them they last a lot longer. I am sorry some people haven't liked the product, for me it was a God sent.

I've had a unit for probably 5 years... and just had to buy a second... $100 bucks for five years of relief. The reason I bought it was for a shoulder injury which the doctor told me I never fully recover from. I couldn't imagine being in that much pain for the rest of my life so when I saw the Dr. Ho infomercial years ago, I sent for it... my shoulder rarely gives me a problem anymore and I had retired the unit in the drawer for the last couple of years except now and then when I have back pain but lately, I'm on chemo for breast cancer and I have pain in my joints and in my back quite often... it's a side effect... I took out my Dr. Ho's which I've had so long it has duct tape holding it together and used it till I got my new one a couple months ago... It's worth every penny to have quality of life without pain...

I have extreme mussel damage due to years of abuse as a Gymnast followed by many more years of working at a computer terminal in a high stress environment. For 10 years I have been going through physical therapy, trigger point injections of novocaine, surgical steroid injections, weekly deep tissue massage, and Chiropractic treatments (which included mussel stimulation exactly like that provided by the Dr Ho device). I even had a similar medical devise that was provided to me on a rental basis for over $200 a month. When I saw the Dr. Ho Massage System infomercial I asked my husband to order it for me for Christmas. It is one of the best gifts I’ve ever gotten! While Dr Ho’s product can’t heal the mussel damage, it has certainly resulted in a huge reduction of visits to the Masseuse, the Chiropractor and the Physical Therapist. It’s been over a year since I had to have the surgical steroid injections, which is a record for me and I don’t expect to have to go back for several more months. I’ve only been to the Chiropractor once since I got the Dr. Ho; and that after 2 full days of full throttle rides at Disneyland and California Adventure which is something I hadn’t been able to do for years. I love rides! The money that this has saved me is nothing compared to the ability to have immediate relief from the spasms. Getting into a Doctor can take weeks but my Dr. Ho Massager is there for me to use at any time. It makes waiting for those appointments tolerable. This is a great product that has changed my life.

I have been using Dr. Ho's massager for almost a year. It works very well for me. I have chronic lower back pain. I put the massager on at night before bed and I can actually sleep. I put it on after an activity such as mowing the yard, and I can walk without pain. This does not "cure" your problems, but it certainly improves the quality of life. From reading some of the complaints it is obvious that some people do not read instructions. For best results change the batteries regularly and change the pad regularly. If the pads will not stick after moistening them, then change the pads. The unit itself is small and looks cheap, but I have dropped mine numerous times and it keeps working. If mine does break I'll drive to Canada and smuggle one back :)

I've had my machine almost as long as it's been advertised in the US. I LOVE it. I suffer from Fibromyalgia and it's the only thing that gets me through the day sometimes. I haven't been real careful with the pads but they surprisingly keep working. My husband has degenerative disc disease and is in a lot of pain. I finally got him to try my Dr. HO and now I can't get it away from him. I went to the website to order another unit and new pads for the old one and find I can't get them in the US!!!!! WHY????

my girlfriend has had a Dr.Ho we bought off a shopping mall cart 6 years ago. She JUST replaced the pads a few months ago, off the internet. The absolute ONLY complaint I have about the unit is... well... none. It did ,however take a few weeks for the new pads to arrive in the mail. I suspect that was more Canada Post, than the folks at Ho-ville. That little Ho gizmo has releived more muscle knots, and sciatica pain than ANY amount of drugs could hope to remedy, without incurring unconsciousness. Dr. Ho is no kinda scam on my planet.

In 2001 I suffered from a herniated disk (L5/S1) and was in extreme pain. Physical Therapy wasn't able to help because my Sciatic Nerve was irritated. I borrowed a Tens machine from a friend and within two weeks the muscles and nerves calmed down enough for my Osteopathic to adjust me and I was literally pain free. When I gave the unit back I bought a Dr Ho. Any time I had a relapse I hooked up my Dr. Ho and within a few days I felt better. 5 years later I still have to watch what I do with my back but that same Dr. Ho is still working and my wife used it a lot leading up to her back surgery. I was very disappointed to find out they are not selling it anymore. If you have trouble with the pads sticking or other problems, have you considered the problem may not be with the Dr. Ho unit? Brad

This little massager works terrific. In fact my wife and I each have our own now. Compared to the cost of physiotherapy treaments, this product has paid for itself 100 times over. Big thanks to Dr. Ho.
