Trust me I have posted on this site many times and it has never been in favor of a product. This is the first time in a long time that I've purchased a product from an informercial and been pleased. The bar is heavy but it is supposed to be. How can you do the moves needed with a flimsy lightweight bar. But it is compact and easy to move and set up. It fits easily under a bed or standing against a wall. The bar came well packaged and everything was included. You cannot perform these exercise on a dining room table or chair believe me. The workout is killer and I'm talking about the beginner dvd. I workout on a regular basis and chase three very active boys around daily so I do not consider myself totally out of shape. I like the fludity bar and workout dvd's a lot!

I love the Fluidity bar, and I agree with the others who defend its superiority over a chair. (!)There's no way you can use a chair as a ballet barre, but the Fluidity bar is perfect for this purpose. I also agree that yes, it is heavy, but that's because it is very substantial! I have wasted money on treadmills, eliptical machines, and other devices in the past that ended up gathering dust in the garage, but I use the Fluidity bar every day. Everyone is different I guess.

I've been using the Fluidity Bar for 6 months now. I love it. Prior to this, I had been working out at the gym, doing weights & cardio. The problem I was having with that workout routine was that I was experiencing a lot of stiffness in my muscles. It didn't seem to matter how much I stretched afterwards, I always had a tight feeling in my muscles. That's one of the main reasons I like this workout. My muscles never feel stiff, nor do I have any pain in my knees like I did when working out with weights. I agree with the others. If you don't find it challenging, then you aren't doing the exercises properly. Also, I eat a very healthy diet & walk daily. Any workout routine requires discipline and consistency in order to get results. My only complaint is I'm getting bored with the DVDs and hope that they come out with some new workout routines soon.

I love my fluidity bar. I can be a very effective tool if used properly. Yes it is heavy, because it is very well made. I am also a former dancer and I agree with other defenders that you could not get the same effect from a chair or a holding onto a table. Could you do pull ups on a chair or table? This is only one tool that can help you reach your fitness goals. It can effectively help you build lean muscle mass, a key component in burning calories. But I did not expect it to take the place of an entire gym. I can only say that expectations of a quick and easy fix will led to disappointment with any product. As no such remedy exist imo.

This is fantastic!!!! I rave about this to all my friends and the burn I feel is incredible in my body. I have lost my love handles and cellulite too! You do have to do this the right way and position yourself correctly. I do have a dance background so I don't know if that's why I know the correct position and why it burns so bad. I do it every other day and started in January with some time off here and there and I still haven't made it to the advance girl on the beginner tape! When I first got it I couldn't even do the sitting leg lifts with your back up against the mat. Whoever says this doesn't work isn't trying or doing it right. and to complain about the weight of it to move it around isn't the point of this to get a work out? That's the way I look at it. It is Awesome!!!!!

I LOVE my fluidity bar. One month of using the bar is NOT going to produce the results you see in the pictures. To expect that seems quite unrealistic. I am sure those results did not magically happen in a month! I have been using the bar for just a few weeks, and I am noticing much more tone and flexibility. I still have unwanted fat on my body, but I am sure it is decreasing. I know that if I keep using this bar, I will not only get much stronger, but the fat will melt away. Yes, it is expensive, but for me... totally worth it.

Firt of all i love the fluidity bar. ive been doing ballet for a while now and ive always wanted a bar so that i could practice ballet at home too. i tried hanging onto the table or balancing myself on the edge of my dresser but you cant HANG OFF of those things. the fluidity bar was well worth the money i paid for it. it does make you stonger and more flexable, but you wont see any weight loss results if your not eating right or dieting. try doing that

Years ago, I did something called Callanetics which, while excellent, required intricate body positioning which was very hard to acheive by hanging for dear life onto furniture. I always thought that a free standing cantilevered ballet barre would be just the thing Last year i was up late one night, saw the infomercial and called immediately. the program clearly owes a nod to Callanetics. (i'm goijg to try using an old Callanetics tape with it) i started doing it every other morning, rotating between the 3 levels. i love that its short enough for me to do before work. and i use the mat part of it for my workouts on alternate days the barre is beautifully designed and made. i leave it out all the time in the middle of my living room. its not ideal but who cares? someday i'll have a separate exercise room. i can't speak to its effectiveness as a weight loss tool. i'm slim enough but my pilates teacher has noticed a great improvement in my strength and flexibility as for the complaints about the weight of the thing- if it weren't that heavy, it wouldn't support you. i can sit on it, hang off it, make up my own exercises on it i can't remember any difficulties with getting it. i was out of town when i ordered it; by the time i got home, it was there. a kind strong friend lugged it upstairs to my apartment. for what is is and how well its made, i thought the price was just fine all infomercials make too much of everything- how much weight you will use, how many inches, how it will change your life, increase your confidence, etc. that's advertising and a result of having too many cable station hours to fill. the point is that exercise is good, this exercise is very good. you need to get off your duff and get your body moving and this is surely a good way to do that

Hi everyone!!! I would first like to respond to the shipping, as I've just ordered it 3 weeks ago and received free shipping on it. Not sure if it was a promotional, limited time thing, but I'm not complaining at all. Secondly, this bar is awesome!!!!!!!! The first day I tried it I wasn't sure if it would work, but the next day I was hating body parts I didn't even know I had. It is truly a wonderful workout all around, provided that you stick with it, atleast 2-3 times a week. On a final note, no you can NOT do these exercises from a table or chair. The bar completely supports your weight numerous times, and offers a freedom of movement that can not possibly ever come from a table or chair.

I personally liked it. The shipping was over priced in my opinion, however, I loved it. My legs were feeling great and whoever said you can use a table.. you can't. The exercises in the DVD show you holding on to the bar sitting on the floor and your back straight! You cannot do that with your dining room table. Also , you have to grab the bar from underneath... I really felt the burn and it is easy store away when not using.

I exchanged my Fluidity Bar because it was not as stable as they claimed it to be (However, I'm close to 300 lbs and 5'9"), plus the wooden part of the bar was a marble pine instead the oak looking one in the commercial. Also I didn't get a pump, which didn't matter too much because you won't be getting to the other DVD's for a while yet, I promise you! The process of getting a new one was very smooth. Even though by the time I requested the exchange it was nearly a month later. Customer service was very helpful. They sent me tracking numbers and answered my questions competantly. I was floored that they even accepted the defective model back in a "box" I created myself since I had thrown out the box. I called Customer Service on 1/26, it was picked up on 1/29 and I received it back on 2/15. Impressive, no? The new one came with new everythings, even a pump (be sure to look for the needle for the pump before you throw out the packaging!) but I'm stuck with duplicates of the booklets, videos, bands, and ball (Is that so bad though?). The new bar is as well built as it looks in the informercial (Including the wooden part!) As for the workout, it is the real deal and the system will last for a long time if you take the time to master the moves of the advanced girl before moving on to the next video. If you're tall like me you'll have to make up for the extra matting (C'mon now they probably had the average height of women in mind here.) or like I do exercise in a room with carpeting. Some of the floor look suspiciously like Pilates moves, but so what! If it works then by all means copy it. I'm betting the entire workout is very close to the exercises a ballerina does on the barre. So, my experience with Fluidity and was a excellent one overall.
