I bought the Hercules Hooks at a local store, after reading about the problems others had with the shipping and handling charges. Most products online are okay but the customer service and shipping and handling charges make them a bad buy. I have used these for the last year, in two different houses, one old and one new. They worked great in the newer house, easy to put in, the older house, what a thumb workout. Anyways they old up heavy stuff better than a nail. I would definately buy again but not online.

I've used the product and found it works great, however I purchased it retail from []. NO shipping and handling, NO unwanted repeat delivery, I can't say you'll get great customer service ;) but hopefully the local store associates are knowledgeable and friendly.

I purchased the Hercules Hooks through a store that had them in stock IRL. $9.99 for a set of 20. I've used them on large mirrors and portraits. Also I used them on my flat screen tv, of course I used about 4 just to be safe and it works great. The hooks look like long paperclips, they are thin I didn't think they would even work, but these do work. I saw the infomercial for these but I didn't want to risk getting scammed on shipping and other add on or "free" products. Overall its a great product.

I saw all the commercials and infomercials on this product and I wanted to try it. But I couldn't wait to order them since I just moved into a new place and needed to get a leg up on hanging all my mirrors and pictures. So I found out that they sell these hooks in packs of 20 at [] (also I heard [] and small stores like that). I tried them and I like them. It was way easier than using a hammer and I was able to hang a really heavy mirror that I was not able to lift to hang.

The product is what it says. I don't know about all the problem with ordering over the phone and such but it is definitely easier just going down to the store and buying them. I need to go back for more because I have a couple of other items to hang.

I wanted to order the Hercules Hooks but was afraid to order directly from the company after reading the billing horror stories on the Complaints page. I bought mine indirectly on []. They're not as easy to push into the wall as shown on tv and I ended up with chipped plaster and a few blisters on my fingers. They do work, though and I'm happy with them overall.

What a great idea. In my own experience they work well in dry wall sheetrock situation. Obviously, they need to be placed between the studs. I have heavy framed art hanging with these hooks and have had no problem.

I would advise purchase at your local big box store or looking locally instead of getting all caught up in the infomercial deal.

We ordered the hooks from an infomercial. They arrived and I was a little miffed at first when I realized the house we were renting was block constuction covered with dry wall.. the hooks were useless there. They were fine on interior walls. We have since bought a house and have the Hercules Hooks holding up everthing. Fantastic!! We did recieve two additional orders for the cost of shipping only, then made the call to the provided number. The customer service rep was helpful and we have received no more hooks and were charged no longer. I don't know about people complaining about the process. They tell you the you will get more, they tell you that you will be charged, and it's very easy and really clear how to cancel it. I actually wish I would have gone one more month before cancelling. I could use a couple more. The free laser leveler.. it's a POS, but what do you expect for free.

I bought HH on-line and had no problems. I love the hooks. They are so easy to use and I have hung a couple of rod-iron heavy pieces. However, after reading the complaints I am going to buy some more at the store instead of online.

Bought these from []. Easy to use and work great. Why anyone would order on-line or over the phone when you can walk into a store to by them is beyond me.

Bought the hooks at a [] store (within walking distance) works great. Only had to pay the inflated Michigan sales tax.

I purchased these off one of the TV []: product is great and shipping was only a few dollars. I have not had anything fall off the wall and the hole is small.

I bought the hercules hooks from a local convenience store in August 2006 for 4.99 a box (contains 10 hooks) because it was cheaper than any of the tv ad I saw. They work exactly as advertised, and I used them to hang pictures all over my house. The hole is larger than I thought from the ad, but is no bigger than two push pin holes together. The pictures are still hanging today, and I've had no problems with the hooks.

I too was burned by the shipping and handling fees. However, the hooks do work great. if I had to do it over again, I still would buy them, but from a catalog or at []. That way there is little to no fees on top of the item.

After reading on here, I called to see how difficult customer service was... and everyone was right... I didn\'t give any information nor did I order. However no one is actually complaining about the product. So at the local [], they are selling these for 14.88, I purchased them. I used 2 of them for a painting that weighs about 74 lbs. (used 2 so that it\'s level) It works like a charm... buy at a local retailer (good return policies) and I think you\'ll be happy you did.

These hooks are great. I bought mine at [] for $14.95 and still got the free laser. As usual its the shipping that ruins a good product. they don't go in quite as easy as they look on TV but all in all I would buy them again.
