I feel compelled to defend Investools...it is not a scam, it is a tool (right there in the name) that allows you to research many different aspects of equities online in one place. To be able to access the same amount of informatin that investools gives you right from the dashboard would require 10x the amount of time than it takes to log in.

Investools takes the datafeeds from the stock market & combines it with company financial information, as well as insider trading information and presents it in a way that helps you make a decision about whether or not to make a trade.

Those complaining of heavy losses probably did not pay attention to the RISK MANAGEMENT element that is part of the investools course.

By following investools risk management methods, you could easily make losing trades daily to weekly for over a full year before running out of money.

Not every trade is going to be winner, but odds are that you will win more than you lose because the investment education is sound.

They do not ever teach you to blindly follow the 3 green arrows to make a purchase, in fact they advise against it.

In summary, investools is a wonderful collection of information and investing education that is well worth the $50/month access fee. The inital fee of $2000 was steep, but it saves me so much time that I knew this was the product that would help me beat the market as they say.

FWIW, in my first 4 months of using the investools system, I doubled my money from $4000 to $8000 making options trades with the guidance of a mentor group of investools graduates.

Being a novice investor with no understanding or inkling of how to pick good stocks, I gave my money to a Financial Advisor/Broker to manage for me. After 9/11, my broker managed to lose 66% of my fairly sizable portfolio without so much as a phone call before it showed up on my statement.

I vowed at that point to not let someone do that to me again.

I have read Warren Buffet and Peter Lynch's books and still do not know how they do what they have done, and continue to do. Let's face it, if it was easy, we would all be billionaires.

I bought the Investools product and signed up for my first class after attending my second get motivated seminar and researching the product.

It clearly is not the make you rich immediately program many seem to think. They educate you, help you develop strategies that can work if you will do the work, and give you a tool that gives you a lot of information you would otherwise spend hours looking for at other sites on the web. I also do consult other websites for confirmation information, something they advise you to do.

I am not making enough money to retire yet, but I have made my initial and subsequent class tuition back, and in five years, I have tripled my investment money. I have made back what the previous Broker I used lost, and then some.

I have also diversified and have let one investment company manage 1/3 of my portfolio as a diversification hedge. Using the investools system, I consistently outperform two very good professionals.

If I had left my money with the original broker I would not have even made back 50% of what he lost to-date.

I am getting ready to take the advanced technicals class and move into options trading.

I am not trading options now, just strictly stock, mutual funds and ETF's.

My approach to the product has been to let my investment in Investools training pay for itself, before I spend more money with them. It is working well. I do intend to take the PhD level course in the future.

Buy Investools for what it is, it is education and tools. What you do with it, how you make it work, is up to you.

Invest Tools is a tool to help you better understand what professional traders already know. I'm a business owner with a business degree in fiance. I thought I knew alot about the market but in six months time realized I did not know that much at all. I't expensive but it's a lifetime of educatiion you will not forget.

Investools is a tool, just as a wrench, a screwdriver, a drill, a car, et cetera. Investools cannot due what it is designed to do if a person does not use it. It all boils down to the cost-benefit principle. If someone thinks the cost of something exceeds the benefit they will derive from it, DO NOT DO IT. For me, the benefits of an Investools education and its website tools have already exceeded the dollars I have spent. I suppose Investools is just like many of the tools marketed on television for things like physical exercise. For example, Total Gym, Bowflex, et cetera. For someone to benefit from any of them, the person must be willing to use them. Successful investing and physical exercise take considerable time and hard work. I have NEVER heard anyone at Investools claim that trading and investing is easy or that everyone will get rich. They stress the contrary. Investools teaches how to trade, invest, and manage money. Furthermore, Investools offers a money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, you get your money back. I am grateful to have discovered Investools. I now have the knowledge, resources, and tools to have a plan and to follow it. To all of the "finger pointers" out there who want to play the "blame game"---the decisions are yours, so hold yourself accountable.

There seems to be some misconception about Investools. First of all the few complaints to be found on the internet are speaking from a perspective of a person(s) that were/are looking for a get rich quick scheme. Of course those things don't work and are scams. Investools is an educational system. Just as the books Warren Buffet suggest are educational tools. These tools are designed to teach Financial Knowledge. Never once was I told Investools would make me money. Simply they claim the system will teach you the principles of investing and teaches you the information that professional investors use to make their decisions. The point is you will still have to make your own decisions...you will still have to "play" the game of investing. This is tool, an educational system. It teaches a comprehensive course...it is not just a program that "tells you when to buy, what to buy, and when to sell." You will never find a true system for sale that does those things.

Investools has not disappointed me. Yes there are costs involved but the value of the programs far outweighs the cost. I have met other successful investors who have used investools to build their portfolios, retirement accounts, and to create monthly income. I first attended a seminar which cost $1900 and came with 6 months of the website. The seminar came with a money back guarantee if you were not happy with the first day you got a refund and didn't attend the second day. I noticed that a handfull of people did not come back for the second day. I took my son with me to the seminar for free. I made my first trade in a few months and paid for the course and then some on the first trade. Since I was new to investing, I called and asked to attend an additional repeat of what I first attended. I went again with my son--both at no additional charge. I learned a lot more and decided to sign up for the whole thing. I am investing and learning and making money. I have not paid for the second session yet, but expect to by the fall. The staff is accessible and totally knowledgeable. I have not been disappointed. Investing is a lot of work. You can find a lot of this info elsewhere but not for the cost and not all in one place. It is a process that must be followed. If you deviate from the steps or become emotional, you get yourself into trouble. I have only good things to say about Investools. I don't work for the company and I don't own their stock because it doesn't meet my criteria. Investools can give you the tools to change your life and your circumstances. It is an awesome program that I highly recommend. And yes it is expensive. But it is worth every penny.
