OK - I found no use in the product and yes, John Beck makes it slightly difficult to return the product...and yes, they did overcharge me on the initial shipping...

However, I had no problem getting a refund. Make sure you follow instructions closely and make copies of all your work. Don't use the 800# to cancel your subscription, call the other local # and you'll get ahold of a professional representative. Treat them with respect - they are there to help you! Then submit your cancellation claim thru their website - follow the instructions. They will ask you for several different #s. When you return the products - make sure you track it as well and get a confirmation. Within a month they will refund your money.

We should not have "be tipped off" that we are to pay a monthly fee, that is B.S. Something that important should be told to us specifically; this is misrepresentation to make us "figure out" on or own or be "surprised" we did not see the fine print. Most who buy these types of scams are not too bright to begin with. Anyone can argue this with me, but come on! What about people who have small television who can't even see the fine print.

i joined john beck because my boyfriend and I wanted to make extra money and thought the john beck program would be a great idea. we joined the program and got numerous phone calls about being a "SUCCESS STORY" They told us that they didn't normally allow people of our age "21" to join. but they said we seemed like good canidates. we wanted to join and they told me that it would cost $6000. I thought it would be ligit and that we would make money back in the money back in the long run. Come to find out that it was the exact balance left on my credit card. I had so much trubble canceling the program. Every time I called and asked to speak to a supervisor, someone said that they werent in yet!! they always told me my return was in process and someone would call me. well no one did. I had to get a lawyer involved and finally spoke to a supervisor. She faxed me over a sheet to get my return. Even after that they tried to keep 500 dollars. Then some guy had the nerve to call me and say ok are you ready for your appointment. and I said no! You told me that the way to make money is to use other peoples money and you maxed out my credit card!!! Now I have no MONEY!! And he had the nerve to say to me well most of our houses only cost about 300 dollars!! you don't have 300 dolllars!! I mean what an A hole. I Said NO I DON'T!! AND I HUNG UP!! Months went by and even to this day every once and a while I get a phone call saying hi are you ready to start you sessions!! I SWARE if my boyfriend ever get money we are going to go to where ever he lives and kick the s%^& out of him!! John beck is evil and is going to hell!! and so are the people who work for him!!! EVIL!! so sad that people live there life like that!!

after reading all of the complaints i had to come and say something about this product to stand up for it. i read all the negative comments and there by people with negative mind sets. so it woudln\'t of worked for them anyway. half of them sent it back before they got it because they read a few bad things about it. john beck has been around for over 15 years. EVERY big company has complaints after being around that long.. i made alot of money with john beck\'s success team.. i made 235,700 dollars my first year but i actually gave it a chance and was openminded unlike these people on here

I purchased the John Beck system in June of 2007 thinking it was a get rich quick scheme. And after a few months of BS'ing I learned it wasnt. But after I actually put the course to work for myself I have made $936,000.00 in less than 6 months. This system works if you take the time to try it instead of thinking you dont have to put any money into it. I invested just 380.00 the first property I bought and made 143,000 off of it.

People you have to understand and not go into the water without knowing how to swim. I will say first educate yourself and then try these things. John Beck is a real estate attorney he has been doing this for years. He knows all the ends and outs of this. If you don't completly understand it, reading his books is just going to be basically in another language to you. You have to know what your doing when you envolve yourself in these types of things. Do more research take some real estate classes for about two years and then understand more clearly.

I am a commercial Mortgage Banker, I have been doing my business for over 30 years, I make between $300,000 and $1,000,000 a year brokering commercial loans. I have invested in Tax Certificates here in Florida for many years and all in all I have been able to make a very nice profit. But as with evrything else in life, you have to work at it and learn the system right or is not going to make you any money. In many years of investing I have never ended up with a house. I purcased John Becks Program just to see what I was doing wrong but I did not learn anything. I did recive a little paper where at the bottom it said that the had given me a 30 day free trial to property vault and that if I did not want it I had to cancell. I called and cancelled, no problem. You got to read the paperwork. What I did learn is that commercial mortgage brokering is by far easier than investing in tax certificates, and the Broker does not have to use his own money to make money, we use other peoples money. Since I have been doing commercial mortgage brokering for 30 years, have written 3 books on the subject, have 2 CD's on the market for professionals and cunduct monthly seminars for profesionals approved by the State of Florida to grant eight hours of Continuing education credit to Mortgage Brokers, I have decided to pprepare a package to offer to the general publick to learn how to do what I have done for over 30 years. As I prepare this package I would welcome email advise from those of you who have had bad experiences with other programs such as John Becks. My email is []

after reading the complaints on john becks system i had to laugh a little because all of the complaints are things i thought of when deciding wheather i should come into the program... luckily i put my fears aside and came aboard the 2007 success team.. i didn't let me finding things about the company on the internet from stopping me.. obviously john beck has been around for a long time.. any company around fore 10 years will have thousands of complaints about them on the better business B... so does disneyland.. i am not going to stop taking my kids there am i?? anyway i came aboard the program and made my investment back very quickly and went on to hit a 6 figure income... and more.. folks if u let urself ur mind will talk u out of becoming successful everytime.. of course ur scared u've never done it before!! and its alot of money.. but john becks system has worked for thousands and has been around for 10 years.. if they were scam artist they would not and could not be around that long.. john becks mentoring program changed my life.. thanks john beck

After reading all of the entries from individuals who have apparently had negative experiences with the John Beck Free & Clear System as well as all of the positive entries, I was able to identify an interesting trend. Most of the negative entries appeared to come from individuals who were unhappy because they were not making money. Unfortunatley the successful individuals who have used John's program simply to not waste their time defending anything because they are too busy making money. I have had the opportunity to use the program, and within the last three years my income from side deals that I have done using the Free & Clear System far exceeds the income that I was making before the program. I found out for myself that this is not some sort of "get rich quick" or "ponzi" scheme, but the program is a legitimate business that requires work. Unfortunately our society has become very lazy, and most people want something for nothing. This is obvious just by looking at the participation in state lotteries as well as an increase in gambling. I will tell you that if you want something for nothing then this is not the program for you. Go play the lottery or something,,,,,However, if you are willing to work hard and create another stream of income then I would recommend that you look further into this program. I know for myself that the program works because I have seen it in my life, and nobody can ever take that away from me, but if you are deciding for yourself about whether or not you should purchase the program then I would first ask yourself if you are willing to work for the money? If you are willing to work then this could be the best program for your financial life. It works if you work it!!!!! Good luck! JIM

this is in defence of the product people have bought. i read some of the complaints being written by some of the buyers of this product. and i have to say that the main complaint i keep hearing is that they kept getting charged each month for the use of this product. but what i say is good for them. the program says 30 days free to the vault and cancel it if you do not want to keep going with the vault. well the idiots didn't cancel their vault membership so they got charged. good for them for not reading the whole package like they should have. i bought this once before but i didn't have the money to put into it. i have seen the prices on the properties online myself and they are good. the people complaining didn't take alot of time to look around as much as they should have and spent too much. i say start small to end large. buy low sell high!! i never got extra charges from this program last time. i am not repurchasing it again ..... only cause someone stole my last one. this is a good product if you take alot of time looking around for the properties that suit your financial allowances.don't spend more then you need to. don't be to quick to buy. take your time to research the properties and know what you want from it. that is a major key to the success of this product. now with me being more financially able to use this product to the right degree i am able to afford to finally start doing this program. and let me tell you people. i am poor. i am living on unemployment and rent an apartment with 2 other people. with an income of only $600.00 a month right now, i can still make this work. thanks john beck thats what i say!!!

I believe John's product does work, it is all about how you follow instructions, it's a step by step process especially if you never had any experience with Real Estate before. The people who are submissive, clearly has no understanding of the infomercial, nor do they understand the directions of the material that they have received. I think they need to spend more time reading the material and watching the infomercial. You can't say anything bad about this program if you truly did not try it.

I have been watching the commercial carefully, very carefully. Those of you who complained about the monthly fee simply were not paying attention to the commercial. He said a one-month free membership of research of his database, a $39.95 value. That should have tipped you off that there was a monthly charge. He also said cancel any time. You could have declined it from the start or after a day or two. Like with the Lisko materials, Lisko himself has said if you were determined enough, you can do the research and find out for yourself. So I decided to research carefully all local government websites to look for grant information, phone numbers of people to call, etc. In regards to this, Yes, people CAN and DO lose properties because they don't pay property tax. However, state laws are different. You can't buy properties directly in some states. In North Carolina, there is an auction process and in most counties there are drawn out counter-bid procedures. But just yesterday, Durham county sold a number of properties:[] Under state law as I understand it, you have to pay 10% of the winning bid upfront and the rest in 90 days. Unfortunately, most government websites do not have this kind of detail. If you, like me, are looking at this solely as a way to get your own house, YES, you can do it, but you have to do research, and be in a position to raise a few thousand inside a month if you win the auction. So in that aspect I thank them for tipping me off. Can't say I'd buy the program to get more informaton because in North Carolina I don't think this program will be very helpful. But it did at least inspire me to do the legwork to try on my own. If I could mail a money order to buy the kit, I'd reconsider. Until then, contact your tax collector office and ask about property tax foreclosures and liens. The information is free and is sometimes online.

I ordered this product and the information is a success when used and read properly. It seems like the majority of the people complaining can't even use proper grammar and as a result missed that cancel before you are billed every month for the "Property Vault Website" that they keep complaining about. A scam is when someone takes your money and does not provide any service or product. Technically, you are paying to get a product that does provide ways to make large sums of money. I did not have any issues with this company; just more information for my Real Estate Investing Library. Thanks John Beck!

Like many of you, I recently bought the John Beck's Free and Clear program excited about the prospects of making some substantial income.  I got the package and did some cursory reading in the booklets but due to a pressing schedule, I haven't followed through with the program. Just the other day I found this website and after reading other negative posts, I was shocked to realize that I, too, had been charged the $39.95 monthly and I immediately thought it was a scam.  Had I read further and more closely I would have seen that the monthly charge was for website access to a "Property Vault" which I'm sure would be a helpful tool for those interested in following through with the program and I'm certain that others who have complained about this monthly charge were probably as short-sighted as I was initially in not seeing the details clearly spelled out in the welcome letter.  I made a simple phone call to the contact number provided on my bank statement (also provided in the welcome letter)and my cancellation was processed courteously and professionally.  Since I had just made a payment in the last day or so, I was given a refund of that payment as well so my experience with the customer service people was good. I'm a little embarassed that I wasn't more thorough in reading and understanding the material and I do think it is set up to take advantage of others (like me) who have a tendency to skip over the "small details" and want to get to the books but I don't think it's a scam.  As for the mentorship program...  I will have to defer to others accounts but I suspect that they can be of value when you put into your business the effort to make it work.  Perhaps I'll have another post to offer in a couple months. Good Luck to all.

I purchased John Becks realestate program in Feb 2006.I also was contacted by a salesman about three weeeks later.I purchased the complete course for $7,499.00 which included 10 coaching sessions.I also invested another $2,500.00 to incorporate my buisness in Nevada. I also purchased a lot through the land bank in a gated community in Penn. I ran into some problems with the coaching sessions. Once I contacted the support team and vented my issues, they added on three more sessions for free.I also ran into some major problems with the lot that I purchased through the land bank for $1,499.00. I contacted Joyce Beck and Nate Heaps. Two people in charge of the land bank. They responded in a timely manner and admitted that the error was thiers and offered to give me three lots for the price of one.My husband and I took a trip to Penn to see the three lots. We were very upset with what we found. We thought like everyone else who is complaining that this was a scam and we were taken to the cleaners, but we both relized that mistakes happen so we decided to give them the benifit of the doubt and I did my due dilligence and contacted all who I needed to contact and lined all of my ducks in a row before I contacted Joyce Beck and Nate Heaps again and voiced my concerns and disatisfaction with the land bank. I received a responce within a half hour. They admitted that it was thier mistake. It was an error in the reseach department. They apologized profusely and offered to make it right by me and they did. I ended up trading back the three lots in Mountain Top Estates for two much better lots in a much nicer gated community in Stillwater Estates in Monroe County,Penn. I paid $1,499.00 for two lots that value at twice that amount per lot. They also sent me pictures of the lots to use when I resell them for all of my troubles. PEOPLE,Mistakes happen. We are all human, but as far as I am concerned they addressed my issues and fixed the problems to my satisfaction and even went the extra mile. This buisness is like any buisness. You only get out of it what you put into it.If you are unwilling to put in the effort and do the work required, you will get nothing back in return. You can lead a horse to water but you cannot force that horse to drink. You cannot prove by me that John Becks Program is a scam. All of my issues were dealt with to my satisfaction. If people would stop thier complaining and put that energy into working the program they might be surprised with the results.I now own four lots ready for sale. Two of them I have seen they were purchased through Tax liens. The other two I have seen through pictures and have talked to  the people in charge of the Stillwater Estates association and was assured that they are desirable lots and will sell.

I am very sorry that all of you got taken by this opportunity. I am in no way affiliated with John Beck or the program. I am just someone who watched the infomercial for years, thinking this has got to be too good to be true. I also know enough to know that you never give personal information to a cmpany you know nothing about. I ordered the program through the mail with a money order, and did not give them my phone number. I recieved everything that the infomercial said that I was supposed to and have bought lots of properties. Although you are correct, the property vault is a waste of time, the program tells you how to get up to date listings from your local government. I hope that all of you get your money back, but most of all, I hope that you have learned to never give in to sales pitches that end up costing you all of your money.
