I've had 3 pairs of the glasses since 2004 and really like them! I lost a pair and just ordered a replacement pair. I did have one pair that broke on the side next to the hing and they were replaced as I had purchased the additional warranty. For the $$ invested, they are as good as most any of the expensive glasses that I've had.

My father, mother and I have been wearing these for over 5 years now and we all love them. Never have had any of them break in half, no problems etc... These are sturdy and verly clear sunglasses!

In a time span of about four years I have bought about 7 pair of these glasses. The only problem that I have is when I lose them or have to give a pair away to family and friends after they try out mine. I just ordered three more pair. I am a bus driver and view these glasses as essential for me to be able to do my job. They eliminate glare beautifully and they are not too dark. I would recommend these glasses to anyone, especially people who drive for a living. I have never had problems with customer service, but to be fair, I have never tried to return them. I like them too much!

I bought these because of a testimonial of an ophthalmologist on the commercial. I know the doctor and I know he is not a shill. I tried these out and have since bought three pair. One frame did break where the detractors claimed, but I thought it was because my wife stepped on them. If you care for them properly, they should be fine and they do perform as advertised. They are by far the best glasses I've ever owned. (And I've ordered very expensive glasses.) Again, the complaints seem to be service oriented, but at least a company rep is on this site trying to address service problems.

I DRIVE A TRUCK FOR LIVING AND I NEED GOOD SUNGLASSES TO DRIVE WITH, BEFORE I WAS USING CHEAP SUNGLASSES AND MY EYES (BECAUSE OF THE GLARE)WERE GETTING BLOODSHOT AND IRRATATED WHEN I TRIED THE LUMINATORS THEY TOOK CARE OF THE GLARE AND I COULD WEAR THEM ON EITHER SUNNY OR CLOUDY DAYS AND MY EYES WERN'T SO STRAINED AND BLOODSHOT I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THEW FOLKS THAT HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE LUMINATORS I HOPE THEY GET SATISFIED BUT FOR ME THEY SERVE ME WELL --THANK YOU-----JAY

If you have problems with our product please e-mail us at our customer care address and we will address it. We sell tens of thousands of Luminators with very few complaints. We will try to keep your business and give good customer service.

We issued a full refund to Melvin's account when we received his product back. He was taken care of per our company policy, but there is his complaint for all to read and it never goes away. Not very fair.....

Hello, I am confused why Earl was complaining as we gave him clear instructions on how to return the product he ordered and when we received it back we refunded his money to his card. I am not sure what SCAM he is talking about as we did everything that we said that we would do and gave him good service and a prompt refund. We have a six week risk free warranty so if he did not want the Luminators he can could return them, which is what he did. When people complain on this forum it is there for all to see and oftentimes when the vendor makes it right it is all to often ignored. We will treat our customers right. I have proudly owned my pair of Luminator sunglasses for 3 years now (since 2004 summer). I wear them daily. Just the fact that they have lasted 3 years is good enough for me. I would have spent much more than $40 on cheap sunglasses in that same period of time. The rose tint is a bit strong though. The "L" quickly disappeared from the side of the glasses. They still look great.

My husband and I ordered two pairs of Luminator sunglasses some time ago after he saw a TV ad, and we love them. My sister recently had cataract surgery on one eye, and her eyes became so light-sensitive that I gave her my pair. She just can’t say enough good things about how much they helped her. She even puts them on in the house after watching TV when her eyes feel a little strained, and she swears that they ease the eyestrain. She is having the other eye operated on next month, so I told her to just keep the glasses. So now I have to find another pair for myself! These glasses are especially wonderful for driving trips that my husband and I take. Every company has its customer relations problems (anyone out there ever tried to contact Dell for help?), but I truly believe that this product is worthwhile.

I stumbled across this site while looking for the Luminator site so I could order two more pairs. My wife and I bought two pairs a couple of years ago and have just loved these glasses. They are the best!!! I just wish they would come in more frame styles. My wife lost her glasses and now has taken over mine. Pretty amazing they have lasted this long. No problem with them beaking and can't seem to be able to scratch them. Too bad about the others who have been unhappy with them, but I can not say enough good things about these glasses. They cut glare 10 times better than anything else I have owned. Maybe Luminators customer service sucks but there glasses rock.

We are trying to make the past customers of Luminators happy. I do not know of any sunglasses company that would warranty product that is over a year and half old. We will do everything in our power to make a satisfied customer.
