Got the MB for Xmas last year. I was happy to get it, because the infomercial is in my top 10 most favorite last night infomercials. I use the MB several times a week to make protein shakes, and it works great! I have no problem blending juice, powder, frozen berries, and ice into a smooth, healthy beverage. My girl uses it to blend vegetables for soups and broths. It's also good for mixing up sauces and what not. You can't make whole meals in 3 seconds, however, without 30 minutes of prep. If you think you're just going to blast together dinner in 5 seconds, then you need a magic lamp, not a magic bullet. Granted, it doesn't chop vegetables like a food processor would, but it is great for doing small blending jobs.

Love it. My aunt bought me this for Christmas without even knowing I wanted one! It is a great little hand blender. Anytime I want to make a drink in a blender I use it. By using the magic bullet you don't have to lug out your regular large blender. It is quick and easy to use. I hand wash the cap with blades on it and I can dishwasher the cups/plastic mixer. Great product. It is available in stores such as Macy's and Bed Bath and Beyond. So if you don't want to deal with phone orders and giving a company a credit card buy it in the stores!

I bought mine over a year ago to make custom protein shakes. Instead of going online I got mine, with a coupon, from []for way less than the infomercial price because I was afraid of making an infomercial purchase. This thing is awesome. Nothing is broken. It works great. Just as described.
I used it this morming for breakfast to make a fluffty omlet. Still working great, knock wood!!

Love this product. One of my favorite as seen on tv products. Works great and I use it often. Just don't leave it on for longer than it says in the manual and it won't burn out. I've had it for over a year with no issues.

I LOVE the Magic Bullet! It's an amazing product. If you use it properly, it's great. We've had one for three years now and have had no problems with it at all.

I have the magic bullet and it works great! i use it for a lot of stuffand it works perfectly. i have heard people say that it doesn't completely blend ice cubes, but all you need to do after the cross blade stops blending it right is switch it to the flat blade.

well ive had my bullet for a few years now and am mainly writing this defense only after seeing and the complaints. I love my bullet, i got it as a gift for xmas about 3 years ago and have mainly only used it for making milk shakes or other blended drinks...though i have used it for a few other things. It does give off a smell that isn't to great but i kinda like it, it reminds me of the good ol' days playin' with slot cars on the kitchen floor. The only thing I could complain about is that the seal around the base of the blade is starting to go, but thats part of life...things wear out with use...i recommend the bullet to anybody that wants a great universal blender!!!

Before I ever saw the infomercial, I visited my dad over Christmas, and he had one and made smoothies for us all. I thought it was pretty neat. He got me one and I found endless uses for it. There are few products I buy that I actually suggest to friends, Buicks, Henry's blend coffee(by Seattle's Best), and my magic bullet. I am glad I saw this product before I saw the infomercial, or else I would never have used it, nor even wanted it. I use it literally everyday, making smoothies, and grinding coffee mostly, but I also use it for dozens of other things.

I bought my Magic Bullet last year and love it. I had some leakage problems at first, but you just have to make sure the blade portion is seated properly. Anyone who has ever tried to cut up conch for conch fritters knows it's tough and difficult to shred. The Magic Bullet handled it, and in a matter of seconds, I had a big pile of perfectly shredded conch which made delicious fritters. I also use it to make pancake batter, whip hot chocolate and chop nuts. I ordered the "Two For One" deal on-line, and gave my sister the second set. She uses it to make hummus, and loves it too. I haven't tried the juicer attachment yet, but everything else works fine. This was the first product I ever bought through an informercial, and I'm satisfied.

I think it's funny the way people are describing how theirs broke. I've owned one for at least 3 years and have used it several times without problem I made peanut butter out of peanuts and I've ground about 8 lbs of coffee with it. It's still in good shape and works fine.
I have bought 4 of these for friends from L[] for Christmas gifts. I mean it's 40 bucks or whatever and it blends stuff. It's convenient to have the base on the counter. You kinda have to be a moron to break it. If it breaks, buy another one. Buy it at [] or [] or [] where you can exchange it if it breaks. And stop shoving tree branches in there.

I just bought one and I love it! Up to this day, I've not had any problems with it. I, along with other happy customers, take great care of this delicate tool, which keeps it in great working order. I think the people who complain about it do not heed to the safety guidlines. They need to know, as it is not a toy.

My mom gave me the magic bullet for christmas 2 years ago. I have not had to replace any gaskets and nothing leaks.
I managed to burn up a few blenders in the past trying to make blizzards and other frozen treats/drinks. The people saying the magic bullet can't crush ice must have a defective product. Mine can nearly liquify anything including frozen candy bars. This is a decent product and very convenient if you're doing multiple tasks at a time. Like someone else said, who needs 40oz of margarita or whatever? The mugs are perfect. My only complaints are: chopping ends up mush and I've yet to do something in "as easy as 1,2,3". In conclusion if you already have a blender and/or food processor just stick with them. If not then give the magic bullet a try.

I have had my Magic Bullet for a couple months now and love it. I use it often and have never had any problems. I actually ordered the Magic bullet pro from []. I am not sure if the pro works better than the older models or not. All I know is I love mine. It has replaced many appliances in my home. As other users have said "Read the Manual". It will explain techniques to use and when to use which techniques and which blades. I highly recommend this item.

I received this product as a Christmas gift. This product has turned me into a smoothie addict...Since 12/07, I've been making 1-2 fruit and vegetable smoothies per day. I can combine a full banana, an apple, some grapes and a handful of carrots in one smoothie! The health benefits are obvious, but the best part is the easy access and cleaning...I've recommended this product to many of my friends...So far I have no complaints and have not had any mechanical problems...It has my highest praise for an infomercial product...Chris

I feel badly for those folks who seem to have had a bad experience.
We have had ours for over three, maybe four years and we love it. (And, yes I never buy ANYTHING from an infomercial) Like others defending this product have said, you need to understand its purpose and abilities.
I have a Vitamix I paid big bucks for. I can take water and raw veggies and make soup in the thing. Would I try that in the Bullet? Nope. BTW, we have had a Vitamix (this is my second and I only traded up because I like the new container) in the house for almost 20 years now.
I also have a Kitchen Aid Mixer with just about every attachment. I can grate a two pound block of cheese (cut into chunks) with that in about 3 minutes. Would I try that in the Bullet? Nope. I am on my third Kitchen Aid in 40 years (the first was my mother's and was too big for my apartment so I sold that and got the smaller size. That one worked for 25 years).
I have never had any of the problems others have complained about. I think we are on our second O-ring. This is mainly because I have teenagers who don't always follow directions.
When I make smoothies I use probably 3/4 cup ice 3/4 to 1 cup of frozen fruit, protein powder, flax oil, flax powder, tofu, etc. then I fill it to the brim with juice. It works great.
The only thing *I* would never use the MB for again is making omelets. The visual is overwhelming unappealing -- although my husband LOVES MB omelets.
My oldest's favorite to to make mousse. The youngest favorite is icee type drinks with drink mixes.
Again, as others have said used appropriately I believe you can obtain many years of good service from this product.
A friend purchased one (on my recommendation) from a local department store after they began selling them in stores and they love theirs just as much as we love ours.

I bought one of these at a local store in the "As seen on TV" section for about $40 - NOT from the infomercial.
We use it as a blender to make icy summer drinks - not for much more - and it is great for this. We always take it on vacation.
I have tried it to chop onions for hamburgers but it turned them into onion mush. I am not much of a cook so I don't use it to make food products otherwise.
It is built with quality and it works well for me after about 3 years. I have recommended it to many friends. It is easily wort more than $40.

I got a magic bullet about 2 years ago. They shipped two of them at once. I had heard that they break down very quickly, but i have never had to open the second box and i use mine extensively. The blender is great for salad dressings, spices, soups, and drinks. It's not good for grating ice, hard cheese, and i have found it doesn't make good pesto at all. Overall i am happy with it.

I bought my magic bullet about two years ago and its still going strong! I bought it on sale ($30 clearance at a grocery store, no less!). We use it for smoothies mostly, but I've also used it to make powdered sugar, whipped cream, bread crumbs, milk shakes. I don't think it does the greatest job on chopping veggies... but overall, we've loved it. It still works great. You have to use it like directed, in short, 10 second bursts or less. Its a small powerful motor that will burn out. If you are making something that needs more blending than that or is really big, get a blender. If this mixer ever dies, I will most definitely replace it with another Magic Bullet blender.

First off, I NEVER buy infomercial products by calling the company itself and giving them my credit card number. That is perhaps the BIGGEST mistake any human being can make, no matter what company or product you are talking about. And why people do it again and again, while experiencing the same problems, it totally beyond me... Because all those companies WILL put extra charges on your card. Its a simple fact of life. You can rely on that. If I see something I like on an informercial, I go to [] and get it. [] Second, in deffense of the Magic Bullet Blender--- I see a lot of people complaining that \"the motor keeps breaking down\", etc, etc. Well, maybe I\'m a dying breed or something, but you see--- I actually READ manuals. And the Magic Bullet manual clearly states that you should never leave the bullet running longer than the recomended time. Because the motor will burn out. And if the motor suddenly stops, that is because it has an internal temperature monitor, and when it gets too hot, it automatically stops. and if that happens, you should WAIT A FEW HOURS before attemtping to use it again, or you will ruin it. That is called a \"safety precaution\", not an inconvinience. People should be glad that a product is smart enough to protect itself (and you). Third, people complain that \"it doesn\'t crush ice properly, it only rounds it off\". Well, once again--- The manual clearly states that you\'re supposed to use SMALL ice cubes, like the kind you buy in bags at the store. NOT the huge cubes from the ice trays in your freezer. Notice he doesn\'t use big ones in the infomercial.... Or, you could try only filling your trays halfway when you freeze them. That works too, and it\'s no more work than usual. Fourth, People complain that \"Everything turns to mush\". Well, that\'s because (once again) they didn\'t read the manual. The manual says that you are expected to use the \"pulse\" technique. Failing to do so will result in half of the food being liquified, and half of it staying whole. The manual also states that if the food you are using is \"sticky\", you chould pause every couple of pulses, and remove the blending cup from the power base to give it a little shake, then set it back on the power base. If not, your food will have uneven texture. Then they say \"it leaks\"... Well, yeah, if you don\'t put the rubber water-proof ring into the base, like your\'e supposed to.... Or if you don\'t properly allign the lid and screw it on securely. But really, who\'s fault is that?? And finally-- WHEN USED ACCORDING TO THE DIRECTIONS CLEARLY STATED IN THE MANUAL-- this product works perfectly fine for me! I use it most for mincing garlic and fresh ginger (pulsing, of course), making icy drinks, fruit smoothies, etc. An contrary to what people complain about, the \"whipping blade\" has plenty of uses! I use that particular blade to make fresh whipped cream, grind my own coffe and spices (which is a blessing, because whole spices are cheaper, and when you grind them yourself, the flavor more fresh)... All in all, if you\'re going to actually READ the manual and use it the right way, this product will work fine. And it will really cut down on the work you have to do, every day. I don\'t know why people cry that they are having problems with a product, and blame the company, when its perfectly clear that they are just not making use of the information in the manual. Its especially true for electronics--- You can\'t toss the manual, neglect the product, ignore the warnings, treat it like crap, and expect it to work properly. When properly used and cared for, I give this product an A+ !!
