I am a culinary student, so I get some pretty gnarly stains on my chef whites. Oxiclean is BY FAR the best thing I\'ve found to remove the stains from my white jackets. I leave them to soak in the washer with a few scoops (plus detergent if they\'re really grungy)for as long as possible, preferably overnight. I love the stuff...

I used it in my laundry. I did notice a improvement in how clean my clothes were. Of course nothing can get everything out but it was better.

I use this product all the time. It's not a miracle like they show on TV, but it works really well on some things. Did a great job cleaning old soda stains in the carpet in my truck. Pretty good for cigarette smoke stains. Not good at all for cleaning the grill, or other grease type things. I add a capfull to all my non-bleach laundry loads. Don't know if it does anything, but I've been doing that for 2 years.

We decided to try this product shortly after our first child was born. Our water is from a well and is very hard and we tried everything to get the formula stains out of our daughters bibs and clothes. We saw a comercial for Oxyclean and decided to give it a try. My husband does the laundry and he made a paste with the Oxyclean and placed it on the stains before washing and it worked great. It saved a lot of clothes both for our daughter and her younger brother!

Like so many people, I purchased oxyClean for laundry use -- two boys and loads of stinky, stained clothing! I didn't really notice that it improved the laundry when added to a load. However, for truly stubborn stains, I sprinkle OxyClean & either water or pre-wash spray onto it, and work it into a paste. This never fails to remove horrible stains! Even if I find a stain after the dryer has set them into the cloth, I can still put on that paste and get it out! But the best use I have found is for cleaning the carpet using an extractor -- rented from the local hardware store. I passed this method to several friends, who also use it and love it. Steaming hot water and OxyClean in the extractor's tank will remove the nastiest dirt my kids and hound dog leave behind. All stains gone, and it smells super-clean without being overwhemlingly chemical-ish or perfume-y like the cleaning solutions made for the machine.

I think Oxiclean works well for my purposes. I use it for my work-out clothes that had a tendancy to smell like a bad locker room after a few uses. Non-chlorine bleach didn't remove odors. I tried Oxiclean and found that the odors were removed. It is nice being able to work out in clothes that don't smell like work out clothes.

I find it's really good on the kitchen floors and the toilet! I don't know how great it is on the laundry, I find the Tide pen really better.

I purchased Oxi Clean at [] for the first time 2 weeks ago. I love the results. My lampshades looked horrible with nicotine stains and I was really going to buy new ones but decided to try oxi clean. I filled the kitchen sink up with water and oxi clean and dipped first one end of the shade. You could immediatly sede how it was melting the stains off. Now my lampshades look like new. All nice and white. It also took the yellow out of white tshirts that had been hanging in the closet a long time. It whitens whites in the laundry. I only paid $3.50 for it and feel it was well worth the price to save the lampshades which are not cheap to replace!

I use OxyClean all the time. It has worked wonders on many stains. I have found it isn't good at getting out greasy type stains and for those I pretreat them with Greased Lightning. I find that Oxyclean works better with cold water and I truly believe that some who do not like it are using hot water (as OxyClean used to recommend for mixing). If you were to soak a garment that has, say, a tomato sauce or grapejjuice stain you can be sure that the hot water is going to set it. When in doubt soak in cold water with Oxyclean. I find it to be a great product and use it in all of my laundry loads.

I've had nothing but success using Oxiclean. When doing laundry, I wet the stain and apply enough Oxiclean to make a paste, then wash. It also works if you dissolve the product in water and soak garment overnight. I've been able to remove grape juice, blood, and polyvisol stains (you know that awful brown liquid vitamin supplement for infants and children). I was even able to remove stains that remained after a previous attempt at washing in regular detergent. This stuff works really well.

I don't understand the complaints either. It's not perfect, but I've had pretty god success with Oxy-clean. Once when I was on vacation, one of my dog got diarrhea on the cheap berber carpet in the house that we were renting. By the time we got home, it had long since solidified. I called a friend that used to work in the carpet cleaning business. He told me to try oxi-clean before I called a cleaning company. I was surprised that anything fropm an infomercial would work. We got the powder and followed the directions. This spot was about 12x14" (oval) and was hard & crusty, and basically bound into the carpet. First I wet the stuff with hot water to loosen it up, and then aplied the Oxi-clean as per the directions. Holy crap!!! (no pun intended). This stuff was amazing! I ended up having to apply it twice, but the stain was almost completely gone. Because you have to let it sit for a while and it is a good % water, and it cleans like 99% of the stain, I ended up with a water ring on the carpet. We simply wetted the carpet and used a wet-dry vac to clean that up Now, it doesn't aways work on everything. We had some cat urine on a nice slik-blend couch. It loked like it worked when we aplied it, but when it finally dried we saw that it had no effect at all. However, it does work better on more stains than anything else that I have tried (TUFF STUFF available exclusively at wal-mart is supposed to be quite good as well so I think I'll try some of that as well). Also, another product that that asame yelling guy advertises seems to work really well as well. I used Kaboom! on a shower. While it was not as easy as shown on TV, it was not too terribly far off, and still the best product that I ever tried on our shower stall.

I have had a carpet cleaning business for 15 years. I go in so many homes where the home owner has used oxiclean. Most of the time it doesn't work and resoils. Those people hate it because it will not remove the spot and leaves a residue that resoils. The people that like don't realize it has lightend ie bleached out the carpet. The lighter the color of the carpet the pinker the spot will be. I recommend using a mild solution of non-bleach powdered laundry detergent. Arm and Hammer works well. Or Spot Shot is a good neutral spot remover.

With 3 dogs and 3 boys, I use Oxiclean regularly. I am not sure why it isn't working for others but I think it is the best thing out there for stain removal. I went to a hair dresser who stained the back of my white t-shirt with red hair dye and didn't tell me. I discovered it at the end of the day so the dye was definitely set. I thought I was going to have to throw the shirt out but I tried Oxiclean and it removed all the dye.

Hi! I've been using Oxiclean for years and have found it to work on stains that would normaly have religated a piece of clothing to the rag bag. I'm talking about stains that were missed and found when you pulled the clothing artical out of the dryer. Usually that's too late to do anything about. No so! Considdering the type of material of course, I take a wash bucket and run as hot of water as I can get into it maybe a quarter of the way and put in a few scoops of Oxiclean and stir it till desolved. It's quite concentrated but that's what seems to work the best. I then take the area where the stain is and place it in the bucket first followed by the rest of the garment and let it sit over night. I then pour it all in the wash machine along with any other items I need washing like I normally do along with soap and softener, etc. and the stain is gone. I found it to work on cuff, coller and deoderant stains on dress shirts, underware(sorry, but we all get them ocassionally), and anything that lands down the front of us as we're eating. But my point is, even if the stain is old, try it. I have and have kept some of my favorites from becoming dust cloths.

I have been PLEASANTLY suprised by what Oxyclean has removed. As the wife of an Army mechanic, a 3 year old boy, and a dog, there is NOTHING it can't tackle. As mentioned before, it is NOT meant for oil based stains such as gasoline and motor oil. However, it will clean leftover stains once you remove the initial oil. I use mine constantly in the laundy (1/2 a scoop or less to a LARGE load prevents the hole problem mentioned) and also with my steam cleaner as a pretreater to get out "mystery stains" on my husband's beloved light KHAKI recliner. It works wonderfully!

Although there are some problems that do happen, I have not come across any as of yet. Right now, I have been using Oxy-Clean for about 2 years. I never ordered it off of TV because of all the problems involved there, but instead bought it at [] warehouse store. Here it has become very affordable and much more inexpensive, and it works wonders if you follow the directions. If you don't like ordering off of TV, get it in a store! It is a great product.

When my son was a baby, I decided to try OxiClean. I had tremendous success with it. It worked wonderfully on everything I tried it on. I used it on blood, baby food, juice, clay (red mud), grass, ink, etc. I have talked with others that did not have any luck with it. 10 out of 10 times the people did not read the instructions. As stated in the instructions, use warm water not cold.

I am a long time user of OxyClean and I can tell you it works, especially on carpets! It works very well with our power spot cleaner on a variety of tough stains, and it does a lot for my laundry too. I, for one, will keep using it.

I have used Oxiclean on my laundry and found that it does a fine job whitening white stuff. One day, my ballpoint pen leaked and left staines on my shirt pocket. I tried other products to clean it, but nothing worked. Then I tried Oxiclean in a paste form, let it dry to a crusty powder and washed it off. The ballpoint pen marks had disappeared. However, Oxiclean does not take out Magic Marker.

Well, I can't say that this product works in all the ways it claims... But I will say that one day I got a nosebleed while laying on the couch, and before I could get a tissue, I bled on the off-white throw pillow I'd had my head on. My sister and I immediately mixed up a little OxyClean and water (I think it was warm water) in a little squirt-type bottle (the kind with a tapered tip, not a spray bottle), and it took all the blood out in just a few seconds. I don't know if it's just because I got to it within literally half a minute (before it had a chance to dry), or if I just got lucky, but the pillow shows no stains or darkening.
