I don't really have a story per say, but this product really does work. But you do have to read the directions carefully and mix it properly. My personal advice is to buy the powder form.

I got Oxyclean to take a BIG pizza sauce stain out of one of my 3 year old's shirts. I had to treat it and wash it twice but it took it right out and I couldn't find anything else that would. I use it in all of my loads of laundry now and our clothes haven't looked better!

I had a black stain on a rug near our bathroom caused by mold because of a leak coming from the shower. I made up a batch of OxiClean and let it soak for a bit then scrubbed the stain. I was happily surprised because the mold stain came out, there was not a trace of it left! I have used this product for years to clean stains with good results. I have found soaking tougher stains in rugs with the OxiClean solution and then using a towel to press up the excess liquid works well. I do not recommend this product for painted surfaces as it tends to make the paint sticky and will remove paint if rubbed too hard. But for stains in fabrics my experience has shown me it works.

I have to disagree with anyone on oxi-clean. The first time I triedit, I got it out of a dept. store. That didn't seem to be like the ads on TV. But I ordered some from [] or [], one of those later on & bought more in another store over the last few years. I have found that just adding one little scoop to my laundry(along with regular detergent) cleans my clothes great! Also, the oxi paste is the greatest for cleaning ovens.Takes the nurnt on stuff right off after suddzing & soaking for a min. or two. I put a little scoop ox oxi clean in my carpet cleaner, wash, hand wash delicates. to pre-soak stains etc. & it is the best thing around. You have to follow instructions, you have to use right away & before you wash any item.Once you wash anything, stains are usually set in. My dad recently passed away this month & when Mom & I were deciding on what to dress him in, I found a beautiful light blue shirt, that matched his eyes, when alive & it was the perfect shirt for his suit. It had a stained collar. I asked her if she had oxi-clean, which she did & I mixed some in water & proceeded to soak & clean his collar. It came out right away & I got it dry within half an hour & on it's way for dad's first showing that evening. I believe in the product & highly recommend it.! BJ, Ohio

I was very pleased when I used Oxiclean in a wash load of sheets with blood stains (some old) on them. Two scoops and an overnight soak removed all traces of these stains from the white sheets. Hydrogen peroxide works well on fresh blod stains, but not on older ones. I cannot endorse the product as a laundry detergent booster, however. I saw no difference there.

In my 4-5 years of experience, Oxiclean works GREAT on blood, red wine, chocolate, grass and any organic stains. It doesn't destroy fabric the way chlorine bleach can and it generally leaves the original fabric dye alone. Not recommended for grease stains - it works sometimes but requires a strong mixture of Oxiclean powder and hot water. Many competitive products out there and many work just as well (and aren't as pricey).

I am a vintage clothing dealer and use Oxy-Clean almost daily-it is the only thing that takes the yellow out of vintage whites that normally would not be sellable, without weakening the fabric!! It takes out stains that have been there for 50 years or more.

We use Oxyclean all the time and LOVE it! Among other things, it got purple Sharpie marker ink out of my favorite shirt. It took a few days of spraying the stain (2-3x/day) and letting it sit, but it came out. I've never found anything else that could do that! We pretreat with it and then put a scoop in in each load of wash... Laundry has never looked so good! BTW - it will take out grease by the same method I described for the marker ink.

I LOVE Oxy Clean. I buy the kind in a spray bottle. I have a 1 1/2 year old and a 4 year old. Spagetti, Raspberries, Chocolate, Dirt, Grass, Oil (don't ask me how - lol...) you name, it they've gotten into it, and I've gotten it out. The only thing is, you need to put it on and let it soak for a few hours at least. I usually put it on after I change their clothes (at night before bed - unless it's a really bad stain) and then let it sit until I'm ready to do the laundry, sometimes a day or so, sometimes almost a week. It is rare that the stain doesn't come out... The only time I can honestly say that it doesn't work, is if I forget to put it on within a day or so of the stain, when it has time to set, or if I don't let it sit long enough. I LOVE THE PRODUCT!!! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!! I used Zout, Shout Spray, Shout Stick, Generic Brands, you name it, I've tried it, and nothing works like Oxy Clean...

I have used Oxy Clean on all types of stains from Dried Pop and Kool Aid. I thought it would never take out smeared shoe polish. This was on light tan carpet. No Problems, Stain gone! Used it on a ground dirt stain on a couch which was dark tan. Stain Gone! I imagine it does not work on everything.... I have to say it was worth the $6.00 I paid.

I absolutly love and swear by Oxyclean for cleaning pet messes. It works great on the floors and in the wash as long as you follow directions and add clothes after it completely dissolves or else it can unevenly bleach your clothes. I've found that the copies that are in the stores, now don't work nearly as well, if at all.

This is the absolute best thing ever. I use it with my steam cleaner on my carpets and it even got up old stains. I put a scoop in every load of clothes also. I have used it to remove stains from dishes, to clean the sink and shower, you name it. This stuff is a miracle!

I love OxyClean! I buy it from the local grocery store and it has worked like a charm. It is the best $10.00 I've spent in a long time. As far as grease is concerned, just read the warnings and directions on the packaging. It never claims to remove grease. But it does work great on food and pet stains. I highly recommend it!

I read the post that Oxy_clean is a scam. I also noted that the way you USED the product was not correct. Oxy_clean does NOT cleaim to be a degreaser. Many of the fluids a mechanic comes in contact with has OIL in it. First might I suggest using a degreaser (like dawn dishsoap) to remove the oils, and if the stain still appears then try the oxy- clean. Oxy_clean claims thier product works best with ORGANIC stains. Read the stain list on thier website. I have found that this product worked on my white carpet, heirlooms that have turned yellow from age, great jewelery cleaner, cleans everything I have tried it with so far. Only thing I have not gotten it to perform is getting red hair dye stain out of my carpet. Again I think thats because its a oil based stain. Read the instructions and use it accordingly. THere is a how-to section on thier website on how to use the product. Again I find the product works as stated.

This stuff is great!! I've recommended it to all my friends who will swear by it too. One scoop in the toilet before you begin to clean (save the toilet for last) and you don't even have to scrub. I did find that I have to use more of the product than they recommend though. I put 3 to 4 scoops in a full load of laundry and have had few color accidents - although it seems to have a tough time with reds and chocolate stains. I just love this stuff though! My kids suffer from cronic bloody noses and this stuff works much better than Era detergent and it doesn't set the stain like bleach will; plus I haven't noticed and "thread rot" that you get from bleach either.

I am so in love. I have a ton of old T-shirts that I love that just sat in my closet for years because nothing would get the grease, grime and ring around the collar out. My friend gave me some OxyClean to try at home and I soaked my very favorite shirt in it (which was stained when I leaned over my barbecue grill to clean it). Not only did it get out the stain, but it got rid of the ring around the collar too. I am amazed that such a product has taken so long to come to our attention. By the way, I get asked all the time now where I got my great new T-shirt collection.

I got Oxi-Clean at Sam's club to try it on coffee stains on the carpet at work. We used it as directed and it made the spots come out and showed us how truely dirty the rest of the carpet is. We eventaully plan to use it in a rented carpet shapoo machine to clean the entire carpet. I got home and wanted to see how Oxi-Clean did on grape juice like in the commercial. I put a teaspoon of Oxi-Clean in a cup of purple grape juice, I was slightly dissapointed when the liquid didn't emediatly clear like on the commercial, but I let it sit on my counter for a couple days, and to my suprise it did eventually make the grape juice completely clear, it looked just like water in the glass. Oxi- Clean does work, you just have to be patient, it is and oxidizer just like ozone and Chlorox, to my knowledge it is less hazardous. It is worth trying, even on things that are not in it's claims.

This product is actually one of the few products that originated as an infomercial that I like. I bought my first tub at a WalMart a few years ago, and it's worked like a charm ever since. As long as you follow the directions, you should be fine using it. I used it ALL THE TIME on my gray carpet in our last apartment, and not once did the stain return or it bleach the color out. I use it in every wash, and find it works great there as well. I wouldn't buy the product over the phone, but to go to a supercenter and pick up a bucket? It's worth the money, trust me.

Today, I tried OxyClean for the first time. We have a home with off white berber carpeting that was left in awful shape by renters. Stains and ground in dirt everywhere. We tried cleaning it to no avail. So, I bought a tub of OxyClean and a bug sprayer...I filled the sprayer with hot water mixed with oxyclean. After spraying the entire house, I then used a rug doctor (which I have never had good luck with) to shampoo the carpets. THE DIFFERENCE IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! I have never seen a product just lift the dirt right out of the carpet before. Even before we shampooed you could see the dirt just disappearing from where I had sprayed the mixture. I am a happy customer. I would recommend this product to anyone.

I want to say how much I enjoy the OrangeGlo and OxyClean products! In fact, I have some severe shower scum in my shower that I have not been able to completely clean. A friend of mine suggested I try Kaboom!, another OrangeGlo and Oxyclean product. I was amazed at how much back-breaking scrubbing I didn't have to do after letting it sit 10 mins! I use OrangeGlo for our BBQ grill, it takes off the burnt crust right off! I also had smoked black rings around the inside of some of my candles, I sprayed a little of the OrangeGlo (in a spray can) on a papertowel and it wiped clean with NO problems! Oxyclean is AWESOME on stains that are on your clothes! I do pour a VERY little bleach in my whites with the Oxyclean because they come out sparkling white! If I do have a stain, I wet it and put a litte Oxy powder on it and rub it in, you'll feel the heat on the clothing as it starts to remove the stain. I throw it in the washer with the other colored clothes and TADA, the stain is gone! Wal-mart carries many of the OxyClean and OrangeGlo products. I am a very satisfied customer!
