I have ordered through both the infomercial lines and the BeachBody website and have had no problems.  I also did order the add-on dvds and lifetime disc replacement. I haven't had any problems so far.

I have purchased a number of different products from [] and NEVER had any difficulties whatsoever.  The website is well designed and the ordering section appears straightforward.  They're are add ons (such as supplements) that you can opt for.  I never have opted for them, and I was never incorrectly charged.) When I have had problems (a malfunctioning DVD), I used the online chat function and customer service sent a replacement within a week.   I have never bought a product from them on a payment schedule nor have I bought any series in anything other than a complete set, so I can't speak to that.  However, you are never forced to buy a product one DVD at a time and always have the option to purchase the full set. Shipping at beachbody in the past was notoriously slow.  From placement of the order to arrival it could be 3 or 4 weeks with normal shipping.  That was 3 years ago.  Recent orders have arrived within 7 to 10 days of purchase with regular shipping--on par with the other agencies.  They have even added a shipment tracking feature. I have never been anything less than satisfied with the company's business practices.  Their products perform as they advertise. Yes, there is a lot of added hype in the infomercials, but that is the nature of this kind of advertising.  If you follow the program, you will get fit and lose weight.  The first 90 days of P90 alone helped me achieve a 10 pound weight loss and my waist went from 40" to 37".   Not too shabby.  I credit Tony Horton's programs with over 25 lbs of weight loss and an incredible increase in my fitness and well being. All this with minimal extra equipment that needed to be purchased (an exercise mat ($14 at []), set of free weights (adjustable dumbells up to 40 lbs for each hand; $10 used at a garage sale; good cross training sneakers ($70 [])).  They do offer to sell items and since starting the program I have bought their exercise bands--these are reasonably priced and are on par with the best on the market. That being said, there is NO program out there that will work for everyone.  We are all different.  However, I have to vouch for this company which I believe is top notch.

This product works.  The exercise sequences utilized are great. As long as you are pro-active in cancelling your 'membership' after you've received all the DVD's you want, you'll have no problems. (I believe that most folks could actually get all the benefits they need from just the first one - and I've studied exercise physiology, nutrition, and kinesiology for over 12 years). Get yourself a set of resistance bands and you are set.  Can't recommend this product enough, but you must remember that it IS hard work and DOES requrie adherence to a reasonable diet (sorry to burst your bubble, but that is the secret to any effective exercise and weight loss plan.)

It definitely works if you stick to the program.  But buy it the smart way like I did. Got it [] really cheap and never had to deal with BeachBody.

I have taken orders for Power 90 over the phone, and the 14.95 program is ONLY available via credit card and the continuity program. Additional shipments are spelled out clearly. If you don't want further shipments, you have 3 choices. 1. don't order 2. cancel as soon as you receive the trial offer 3. order the complete package with no continuity On the order script I have seen, you have to confirm that you understand over and over.  On the vitamins and website upsells, you have to give partial cc info again.  Calls are recorded, and I imagine refunds are not given when the recording clearly shows you agreed to what was sent - and to the additional workouts 45 days later. Before I worked the order line, my wife had ordered Slim in 6 from beachbody.  We used it, it's a good program, and the company did everything it said it would do. I think people just don't listen too well, and forget that they ordered something at 3:00 in the morning when they were half lit.

well I bought the total package because I lost over 100 lbs in 8 months about 3 years ago on power 90.  I wore out my tapes.  Now I have ordered the lifetime replacement DVD's when I got it I noticed they have sent the female version ( recieved wrong powerbands).  I was on the phone on 8-25-05 seem like forever. I finally got through they have been having computer problems.  If you have a computer than you know these things happen.  This program works.  If your back is in bad shape seek a physical therapist.  This program tells you to go at your own pace please be responsible and contact a physician if you know you you have health issues. But if you dont have any patients than you should find an alternative to exercise.

Finally a program that I can work anywhere in the world. I travel a couple times a year and have been looking for an exercise program that I can use when I travel. This program if loaded with excellent exercises. They are easy to alter to fit your situation. Since I am 50 years old, I can't move quite like they do on the DVD. But, as they tell you to do on the DVD, I simply alter the exercises to fit what I can do. For me, this DVD was well the purchase.

I have ordered Power 90 and Slim in Six - both orders shipped without problems. The workout tapes are good - and will cause results if you do them.  Seriously, most workout programs will have positive results if one will adjust their diet, as well. To the naysayers - there are no shortcuts...or special magic pills to take toward fitness. Put down the ding dongs people...and MOVE.

also bought power 90 on line and I did see the offer for some vitamins, but it clearly stated that you were going to be charged for it (I understood that, even thought English is my second language) I haven't had the need to contact them by phone but I'm pretty sure this is a serious bussiness and they will help you...how do I trust them? I started the excercises a week ago and i'm feeling the results...I might change my mind later on, but right now I'm thinking this is an awesome product

I had no issues with receiving the products i ordered, so i can't complain there.  But I can say I LOVE P90 and what it has done for me!  It comes with a great eating plan to go with the exercise plan AND has a great website filled with TONS of help, from chat rooms to msg. boards, having questions answered by their experts, menus...  I've ordered a handful of infomercial exercise tapes, and by far this is the best one i've ordered!

Amy writes:
This Vitamin thing happend to me as well.  I contacted Beach Body (which were easy to contact btw...and very friendly) and they funded my money back and sent me some free bottles to say they were sorry.  I can't complain.

i ordered the power 90 program, and i do recall them saying that they would charge to send new things each month unless you order the complete program, with the complete program which was only like 60.00 they have not called or billed anything else, they do send me emails time to time on different specials they have or they send me information on chat boards for support, nothing that is a nuisance.  i feel like i made a great purchase

Kaellie writes:
When I ordered my Power 90 from the infomercial I was offered the trial "subscription" of the vitamin product. I knew that I didn't need it and declined. There were no other charges to my card once I had paid off my three payments and have recived no follow up calls. I have also placed orders for more of the resistance bands from the website, also with no problems. Beach Body has been a good company as far as I'm concerned. But then I know how to listen when a sales person talks and pay close attention to the verbage they use. A subcribtion is not the same as a free bottle. Buyer be aware.

Wayne writes:
I purchased Power 90 in December 2004. Yes they ask a ton of questions about other products ie: vitamins, supplements, resistance bands etc. I simply declined everything except the dvds. I have never been billed beyond what was ordered. Now if I can just get my lazy butt up and push play I will have my body in 90 days. If you want resistance bands go to wal-mart. Vitamins and supplements you can get from GNC or the Vitamin Shoppe. I wouldn't order stuff I can get cheaper at a store.

JM writes:
Power 90 works, as long as you get ur lazy butt off and Actually Do the whole work out it works!

I have ordered 3 programs from beachbody and I love them! All of my 3 orders arrived in less than a week due to my location. Once I accidently ordered VHS instead of DVD's I called them and they were really nice and re-shipped my order and they payed for the return stamp. They are great and if you are smart and tell them you just want the dvd's that is all they send you and charge you for. If you get up and do the work outs.. They WILL work.
