I just got the iron and yes you do have to fill it up all the time. You might get to do 1 shirt. But you have to get used to using it and after a while it may work out just fine. The pressure must be release befor you can remove the cap. Just hold down the lockable button and then use the adapter (Black) and it should remove just fine. It is by no means an easy iron to operate with and you must have patience.
