I purchased the Rug Doctor about 2 years ago. Believe it or not, I asked for it as a birthday gift. I own a 200lb Dane Rotty Mix who tracks in all kinds of dirt. I love this machine and don't know how I could live without it. It does a superior job. I have previously owned Hoover and Bissel products and they come nowhere close to the quality of this machine. After renting this machine for about $100 for a 2-3 day use I decided it would quickly pay for itself. I use my machine about every two months. If you are in need of this type of machine, spend the extra money and get the best!!

I just bought the Rug Doctor after renting it for years from [] or the local grocery store. I have had no problems with it and find that it cleans every bit as good as the ones you can rent. I have to admit that I bought it from [] for $500(they had it on sale for $699 minus 30% less if you used your [] card) and not the infomercial $799. I have 2 in door cats and it cleans great, would definately recommend but the price is a little steep.

The rug doctor makes a great machine and with a few of uses it does pay for itself. I knbow there are tons of scams but this isn't one. I don't have one of the might pros yet, but Ive rented them a lot. If you look online it tells you about the payment plan. So they don't jerk up the price. Like with all other payment plans they charge interest but its already built in to the payment plan so they don't charge you annually. On the commercial it has the website on the bottom of the screen the whole time. So remember if a company puts their website on their commercial, go there before you buy. Happy Trails.
