3 years ago I ordered sheer cover, when it was still fairly new. I received the trial 30 days for 19.95 (the price at that time) and then started receiving the 60 day shipments. I had to change the frequency to every 4 months, because I just don\'t go through the enormous amount that is in the jars. I then had to cancel my membership, as I lost my job (and still had 2 full 60 day supplies). There was no problem. I called, got a great CSR, and everything was cancelled. I didn\'t receive any more bills or any more products. Now, 2 years later, back on my feet financially, decided to try them again, as I really liked the product. I called on the 9.95 trial special, and the CSR explained the whole thing very well to me, and when she asked if I wanted to try the 9.95 trial, or upgrade to receive the regular package (with the brushes, makeup compact, etc) I said okay, it was 29.95 in TWO MONTHLY installments -- which was explained very clearly, but as they were running a special, I would only be charged 29.95 ONCE as it was a limited half price offer for the first month of hte membership package. I was billed correctly. YOU HAVE TO LISTEN, very closely when the Rep is talking, and if you don\'t understnd, or think you read something else, you have to ask. GUTHY-RENKER is the company who handles the orders and CSR, not Sheer Cover -- this is the same company who deals with Pro Active among other things. If you have an actual problem with the prodcut itself, you need to call Sheer Cover, but for billing issues, you need to call the number on the box that is Guthy Renker. If you go to the website, and read all the prices (clear and in print, so you cn print it out and always have proof if there is a dispute) it clearly CLEARLY explains the prices, and trials. There is no major scam going on with Sheer Cover -- sometimes you get a rude rep, or you don\'t read the fine print, that\'s your fault for not bieng inforomed -- not the company. Take some responsibility people.

I absolutly love this product! I have never found a better make-up nor have i ever been "scammed" by the company or found extra charges on my card. The $30 trial kit is only ment to last for a month and gives you more than enough to do that and then, like every other company, they start sending you the 90 day supplies and charge it to your card unless you call and cancel. I don't know why people are so surpised at this. BareMinerals does it, ProActive does it, and any other beauty product I have ever used does it. I think you people who are suprised are just inexperienced with these things. Of course they are trying to get the most money out of you, they've got to keep business running. But this product is definatly a keeper. I'll never go back to using anything else.

I have been using this product for four months and I love it! I stopped breaking out and my skin looks natural. In the last four months I h ave not been billed for any additional packages, since I set up the frequency to 16 weeks and then just yesterday did a "send now" for my replenishing kit. So now I won't receive another shipment until I am ready again. It is not a scam! You just need to pay attention, go on their website and fix the delivery frequency. If not, you can cancel at any time. I for one will not be cancelling and I do love my makeup! My sister and mom are now hooked on it as well.....and we were all using Bobby Brown before.

I buy this product at []. I love the product. It definitely made a difference on my skin. I had a problem with acne prior to using sheer cover...not anymore. It works great, and the look...WOW!!! I have to say that I am medium tone and the dark to medium in to dark. If you go lighter...even when you are darker...it can make you look ravishing. It is all in knowing what colors your skin looks best in.

On the website, it clearly states that you will be billed every month. So those of you who got "scammed," you just simply missed a small detail.

After ordering the introductory makeup kit through my pre-paid credit card, I used Sheer Cover without complaint. However, I did not want to have automatic shipments and payments for further products so when the next one came, I didn't open the box, contacted their customer service for account cancellation, returned the box. It is good mineral makeup and I have no complaint with it or its billing practices.

I never trust informercials but all & all the product is great as I bought it at []. If your nervous about informercials be a smart shopper & find out where they sell it. Its not rocket science people.

I'm in my 50's and have been using Sheer Cover for 3 months. I love it. As I was turning 50 I decided I needed a change from the cosmetics I've used for the past 25+ years. I watched the infomercial but decided to order online, that way I could take my time reading all the fine print and not be subject to sales pressure from a Customer Service Representative. I purchased the 30-day trial package for $29.95. I felt the most I had to lose was $30 if I didn't like the product and the "money-back" guarantee didn't pan out as promised. The first few days I used the product my face itched and did break out, but not so bad that I gave up. I think it was just a change from what my skin was used to. The itching and break outs stopped after a few days and I can honestly say, my skin is softer, smoother and my complection is more even. The initial 30-day kit lasted much longer than 30 days. I wasn't quite sure how the home delivery program worked so I called and talked to a Customer Serivce Rep, she was very polite and helpful. The home delivery plan it great. I previously used a product that I had to call my sales rep to place an order and then make a special trip to pick it up. Now I just go online and make necessary adjustments to my "kit" and the shipment date. It arrives in the mail and the charges to my credit card are spread out over 90-days. It doesn't get any easier than that.

I was really happy with Sheer Cover. Infomercials are clearly untrustworthy, so I bought it at []. The coverage is great, and it is really easy to use. The result is a very natural look, and I didn't even have to mix the colors to find a good color match. I absolutely loved it. My only issue with the product is that the amount it comes with is quite small. I used it for a month and loved the results, but I received Bare Minerals for Christmas and am going to try that, which will hopefully last longer. I should warn everyone who buys this product in stores, though. I'm fairly certain that the name of the store that I bought the product from is going to be censored by the website (although I don't understand why), but that store is going to stop selling Sheer Cover soon. At least in my branch, the product isn't going to be re-ordered, so unless you know of multiple stores where it will be sold, stock up!

to get the special offers on tv you have to enroll in the auto home delivery. i call and order the kit as a one time order and that costs 39.99 plus shipping and handeling for a 30 day supply (which really last 45 to 55 days) always read the fine print people. The vitamins, magazines, and anything else they try to sell you when you call to order the make up is another company. Always call the customer service line on the website or in the catalogs. They are located in the US and as far as i can tell very highly trained! I love this product. I had a problem with covering acne and the woman told me about some stippling techniques. its awesome. i love it.

I received Sheer Coverage and LOVE IT! I can slept in it and it does not break my face out. i called after reading this and was assured I could cancel at any time. I changed my delivery time to suit my needs. That way I am not charged for something I am not ready for

I love Sheer Cover! I have had no problems with it. Alot of people get scared about the member "Create-a-kit" program but it is really a breeze. It saves you money and time. you dont have to go to any bussy malls to buy the make up. You do it all from the convienence of your home. Any time I have had a question the customer service reps have been polite and helped me. When there mascara was on back order, the customer service rep sent me out a free concealor. The product gives me great coverage and NO breakouts. thank you sheer cover

i work for guthy renker and i find it hilarious to hear all this bullshit you say. first off.. when you call 5 minutes after you order wanting to cancel..ITS NOT IN THE SYSTEM.that is not bullshit..technology might be good but if it worked that way the computers would be like...overloaded.it has to go thru the system so your order can be sent out properly. the world doenst turn just for you when i press a button. WHY woould we lie about that, or anything for that matter! we are there to satisfy and help you. it is NOT our god to listen to you complain. LET me help. yeah things may get messed up, but theres not much you can do that doesnt get mesed up. if you dont recieve your order...calm down if you paid..you'll get it. maybe someone made a mistake..like wrote your address wrong..well im sure you have made mistakes..like maybe not listening to the rep when they infomred you that you wetre being enrolled into the autoship program, or reading your invoice after you recieved the initial package and seeing the future ship dates. WE GIVE YOU ALL THE INFO. its not scam. there is a script we must follow. if anything gets mesed up okay maybe a rep made a mistake we are not perfect adn do our best to fix what we do wrong. We dont go in and say. lets send out random products to these people for no reason...the company is run well..maybe a few glitches...but obviously guthy renker has not done ANYTHING illegal or we wouldnt be a multi-million dollar company. THINK before you order. and learn to read. PS i dont get paid enough to scam you..so get over it.

I like this product and I buy it locally at [] store. no hassles and a great makeup that holds up to Texas humidity and heat. My face has fewer breakouts and the cover up is wonderful. Try it out at the store if you want to avoid the online thing.

i dont understand people who say they were not aware of what they were recieving and that the company is a scam. Customer service is not trying to steal are money, or scam us or lie to us, do you think they make enough to do that or would actually waste there time telling us incorrect things? They are paid to represent the company well. i doubt it. also when you order sheer cover. you are made aware what you are recieving more times then one. from the infomercial, when you actually call and order, online, and on the invoice in our package. It states when we will recieve a shipment and when we will be charged. Maybe try being calm and responsible when talking to a customer service rep and they will actually help you. who wants to help someone whos yelling and doesn't listen to what they are trying to say. as for the additional things you recieve that you are not aware of...im sorry but i have no doubt that you people ordered them or agreed to recieve them. look at your credit card statements and read fine print before you buy anything. i love sheer cover and i think you people need to get a life saying that everything is a scam. take time to actually read before you purchase something. because alot of people do.

I love sheer cover! I have had no problems with the company. When I wanted to change my shipments they did so with no problems. I think they have the best cover up I have ever used and I have tried lots over the years. It works especially well on red areas. I felt very lucky to have found the product.

I ordered sheer cover a few months ago, and I had problem with delaying of the order, but the problem was that they didn't get my address correct other then that it was great. They told me that I need to call back and cancel if I don't want it. The other problem I had was that they did charge me for vitamins that I said no to. Moreover I really like it I keep ordering it's expensive but why not give your money for something that make you look beautiful in natural way?

I have used Sheer Cover for almost a year now. I have never had any problems with them at all. I ordered the products and it was made very clear to me that I had signed up for home delivery. I choose the items that they send to me and choose when they will be delivered. This product is amazing. I have the entire line. I can't imagine changing to another line of cosmetics. It does everything the infomercial says it will do. If you watch the video that comes with the kit, you will see how to apply your make up and look like a professional applied it for you. I have a difficult time understanding how people can bash such a superior product. I am a Sheer Cover lifer!!!!!

Wow, I must say I'm really surprised by all I've read here about Sheer Cover. I'm 31 years old and have been a makeup fanatic my entire post-pubescent life, and Sheer Cover is by far the best mineral foundation I've ever used, and I first discovered mineral foundation (and vowed never to go back to liquid) about six years ago when I discovered Bare Essentuals, and have tried several other brands since. Now I didn't call my order in, I just did everything online, so I can't speak to the customer service complaints, but much of what I've read slanders the product itself and its quality, which amazes me. While I will concede that some of the other products in the starter kit (lip glosses, etc.) didn't exactly knock my socks off as the foundation did, I certainly didn't find them at all to be "cheap" or "crap" as I've read, and the complaint that really got me was the one complaining about the amount you get in the starter kit. Um, did we get the same starter kit?? I couldn't believe everything I got for only $30! You get a cleanser, an spf 15 moisterizer, a set of great brushes (including a really awesome travel brush where you mix your perfect shade right in the handle -- so easy!), the awesome concealer, two tubs (two shades) of foundation, a sampler compact with lip glosses, eyeshadows and eyeliner, and even an instructional DVD. People, I don't know where you've been shopping, but I challenge you to find all these products in any store for $30. Finally, to the whole "club" thing -- yes, it is a bit of a drag that they make you join a club, but for those of you who don't know, you can access your account online and change the date(s) of your shipment(s) so you don't have to get them every 30 days. As soon as I got my starter kit I changed my next shipment date online for the furthest date possible (16 weeks) -- I found myself having to change it back to a sooner date because I needed more product! So if you know how to work it and love the product as I do, the club thing is actually pretty convenient.

I'm 23 years old and all my life I've never put foundation or anything on my skin to cover because I always break out. Sheer Cover didn't break my skin, and the tones matched mine pretty well (Medium on Asian skin). When you call to order, you have to be a smart shopper. Be up-front and aggressive about not wanting to join the club, and ask questions. The consensus with most of the complaints is that they were enrolled in the automatic program without consenting to it. People, be SMART shoppers, and don't give in so easily. Listen for the product details, and actually do some research before you even pick up the phone to call. The issue with infomercials, especially one like Sheer Cover, is that there are VERY SMART business people working behind those cameras, and you have to be a VERY SMART customer as well. I was skeptical of the product after reading all the complaints, but I had no problem with the product quality, process, and customer service. Be respectful and courteous, and you'll receive it right back. It's not about product quality so much, but more about customer-business relations, and we have to find a good medium somewhere...by being smart.
