My sister in law had two sets of this product and absolutely loved it. She convinced me one it! I had my husband buy me a set for Christmas. I have never regretted it. It takes up less space in the cabinets and draweres. I made a bundt cake and it fell right out! Cupcakes and muffins don't stick either! There has been some discoloration on a couple of pieces but that hasn't affected the ease of use. I don't know about buying store or off brands but I do know that the Smartware brand does as it says. I have bought several extra pieces. I would recommend it to everyone. It's great!!!

I\'ve been using Smartware daily for about six months. I made the mistake of cutting items while still on the baking mats, which caused the two I had to split, but I liked them so much that I just bought two more. I haven\'t had any problems with food sticking or weird baking times and I love that I can transport food from oven to refrigerator to microwave. I often recommend this product to people.

We've had Smartware for about two months now and I think it was worth it. I would recommend that you buy it online and be sure to read the fine print or else have someone in your family that is very direct and mean make the call for you so that you don't fall for any of the additional offers. They will try and sell you everything under the sun and offer what sounds like great deals but I was firm in demanding that I only wanted one set and the guy gave up on all the other pitches and I wasn't charged for anything extra I didn't want (I've seen posts on other websites where people did not understand what they were agreeing to and were charged for a bunch of extra sets). After listening to several of the offers I finally said "I want the 16 piece set and that is all and if you offer me anything else I'm going to hang up and not order anything." Chef Tony says you can get it in any of the three colors, but on the phone the guy will say that they will just send you the first available color. I demanded the color I wanted, and they warned me it might take up to 8 weeks to come, but it only took a week and a half. The product doesn't work quite as well as on the infomercial (duh), but it is far superior to the other bake-ware we have. For instance we made a big batch of enchiladas, half in the Smartware and half in a glass dish and the Smartware came out a lot better. The glass dish had burned the tortillas and the cheese burned and stuck to the glass and it took 5 times longer to clean up. With the smartware things like cheese or the juice from fish that would normally burn and stick to a metal or glass pan just burn on the Smartware and then flake off instead of sticking. Sometimes it does leave a little discoloration on the smartware, but nothing that a little scrubbing won't take off. I have always been very suspicious of infomercials but am glad I went ahead and bought this one. I'm sure that not everything will come out perfectly as it always does on TV, but when was the last time that anything on TV actually happened like they portray it (say, beer commercials or commercials for a new movie).
