I have used this product several times each week for nearly 9 months. I live on a ranch so you can imagine what guys track into the house! I enjoy it so much I have given several as gifts to rave reviews. It's 2008, and if anyone out there doesn't have a clue how to properly use a rechargeable battery they need to do a little research! By the way, I got mine for less than $30 at a retail store.

I bought three swivel sweepers.

I love them!

I keep one in our RV and one in the house.

I gave one to my future daughter-in-law for a Bridal Shower gift.

I agree with the person that says they probably charged the batter too long! It not too - if they read the directions!

My sister is a mother of 3 small children and swears by the swivel sweeper (she's on her second one), so I bought one. I don't use it as often as she does, and mine is still working great a year later. I think the problem people have with the swivel sweeper is that they are overcharging the battery. If you read the instructions, it tells you to never charge the battery for longer than 24 hours. I never have, and I'm able to keep my sweeper handy for quick pick-ups and go several weeks without needing a charge.

I wouldn't buy this product from the infomercial, though. You can get it at [] or [] with a coupon.

I purchased this a a timesaver and so my kids could help with the chores, and I LOVE it. it's one of the best as seen on tv products ever. my kids now fight over who's going to sweep... it's quick and easy...

I love my swivel sweeper and bought it over a year ago. It still works great. I use it daily to sweep up birdseed spill over, kitchen floor crumbs and on my throw rugs for a quick touch up. It's quick, light and easy.
Love that it has no cords to trip over.

I love my Swivel Sweeper! My sole purpose of buying this product was that I have a newborn at home. I needed something quieter and more compact than the big huge vacume or broom and dust pan. This product works wonderful. My baby who is now 6 monts loves it when I whip it out of the closet, cause he gets to see me dash around the house with it. Also it works great on hardwood floors (we have them through the entire house). It picks up everything from hair to tiny flakes of oatmeal and baby cereal. I love it!!!!

This swivel sweeper is perfect for me.I am in a wheel chair and can't bend over to use a dust pan,so i don't have to with this.people complain about the battery being weak, but if you forget to put it back in the charger, ofcourse it will be weak.I keep my battery in the charger when im not using it and it works fine. For $20 each it's so behond worth it.They even sell them at [] now.Only maintainence needed is to empty dust tray and pull hair out of brissles every no and then.

I purchased a swivel sweeper at my []. I purchased it with the specific purpose of cleaning tile and laminate floors. Im not sure why people say it doesn't work. I was so impressed with it I decided to put it 2 the real test. I own a cleaning service and decided 2 try it on a bigger scale. It cleaned up tile floors like a dream. The batterry usually runs about 30 to 40 minutes and have never had a problem even on the rugs. In my opinion if u take care of it and use it properly it's an awesome product. It saves me so much time!

I have owned 3 of the swival sweepers .i am not so much defending the infomecials as i am giving a more possitive side to the product i bought mine at [] and i also recomend everybody wait til they hit the stores, stores you trust that is, it breaks you return it .ive read the battery issue complaints and it is possible these people are leaving the battery in the charger when not in use it clearly states when you open the box dont leave battery in charger more than 24 hours at a time .i personly love my sweeper atleast until a better one comes out see i love the design works great even picks up basement dirt and little rocks .only problem i had with mine was the rollers after 3 months got stiff on my first two PLASTIC BEARINGS!! the one i have now i got six months ago i brought the other two back to [] after three month with box and they exchanged them for me. i know this isnt a perfect sounding experience but im happy and there is no other way to get this great design for now .

I really like the Swivel Sweeper, its a great product. Sure, you have to empty the dirt container everytime you use it. But it works great for items such as: pet hair, dust, crumbs and more! Sometimes you have to clean the brush-bar, which can be a hassle. But its worth it!

I really like the Swivel Sweeper, it picks up well (not like a vacuum), but still well. It works great for dog hair, etc. The only problem, is that the battery sort-of dies when I use it.

I purchased a Swivel Sweeper about two years ago. I use it only for hard surfaces, like tile. I purchased it for use in between vacuuming with a regular cleaner so I didn't have to haul out a heavy cleaner for bits of lint, dog hair, etc. It works great, has never failed me, and the battery has given me no grief whatsoever. If people are having difficulty with purchasing it via phone, it can be purchased at some nation wide chain stores. The price is less than $40.00 and there are no shipping costs involved.

I read all the complaints about this product and most of them include these things...1)ordering off tv and 2) shipping costs 3) battery life. Well if people paid attention, like i did, I saw that it says 2nd one is free with the extra cost of shipping and handling. So no surprise there. Ordering from TV can be a pain so didn't do that either. Saved myself the hassle others seem to be struggling with. Then the battery issue. If you read the instructions you are not to charge the battery for more than 8 hours. This is true for any rechargable battery wether it be for computer etc. If you overcharge a battery it will be ruined. So I love the sweeper for what it was meant to do. I have a dog who sheds constantly and I use it to pick up hair in the kitchen and even on the rug in between using the big vacume. So I think the problem with the product is with the way the customer used it and not the product itself.

I have used the sweeper for several years. It will never replace your vacuum. It works great to pick up things like cheerios and other small spills. It is easier to use than a dustpan and broom. I also use it to pick up what my dust mop leaves behind on my hardwood floors. I bought the sweeper from a []. I had no billing problems. I learned years ago to never order from a TV Infomercial. Many of them overcharge, give out your credit card number to other questionable companies and sign you up for a membership that charges a monthly fee. All of this is done without informing you or asking for permission. Many [] products. Only deal with a reputable company.-Patricia

I've had my sweeper for a year. I have 2 cats and a dog. It's great! It's perfect for quick pickups, you don't have to get out the big vacuum every day. I love it. I gave the other one to my Mother-in-law. She has arthritis and she loves the Swivel Sweeper too.

I was skeptical because this was advertised on TV. Well... after going thru vacuum after vacuum, gadget after gadget to clean my house, I decided to go to [] and get one. I DID not order online in case I did not like it, and wanted to return it. I have a very powerful Kenmore canister vac with powerhead. Pain to lug out all the time, although it does its job very well. Ran the sweeper. This thing got under and around places I couldn't get before, was lightweight, agile, and actually worked well on the carpet as well as the laminate floors. Has a bit of problem with leaves LOL. I was very surprised to see what it picked up AFTER I had run my big canister vac. I have 15 dogs, and 13 cats. All inside. I have ALOT of hair and dust/sand. This little machine picks it up fast and easy. Does a very good job. Folks need to remember its a lightweight power sweeper, not a vacuum. Yes, I have to dump the catch pan several times during my daily passes. REAL EASY. Yes, it catches hair around the bristles and I clean it after each use. BUT, even with all the maintanance, it only takes me 30 to run it thru my entire house and clean it out after. I put the battery back on the charger for a few hours, and take both off at night. Do not leave the charger plugged in all the time. I'm pleasantly surprised at this little machine. For what its for ( power sweeping and light carpet sweeping) its a back and time saver. Love it so far... will see how long it lasts, but I've killed regular vacuums in less time then I've had this ( week). Buy in a local store as opposed to online so you have some recourse if you don't like it.

I cannot imagine my home without my Swivel Sweeper. I love it! My home has all hardwood and linoleum floors, and I use this product several times each day. I was not expecting a heavy vacuum; I wanted something that performed the action of a broom and a dustpan. I got exactly what I expected, and it works great. It picks up hair, dust, cereal, rice, leaves, small twigs, and fake Easter grass. It really is a back-saver. It needs proper maintenance to work effectively; the small dustpan must be tipped into the garbage after each use (takes about 10 seconds), and the rechargeable battery must be used correctly (can't be left on the charger too long, will result in reduced battery capacity). Every now and then, the bottom of the unit must be taken off in order to get threads, long hairs, etc. off the rollers which my impede efficiency (which needs to be done on any vacuum.) I think if you expect a lightweight automatic broom and dustpan, you will be pleased with this product. And it can be purchased at my local grocery store for around $35, and at [] for around $30.

My husband bought this for me (I'm something of a neat freak) and I love it! I have had no problems with the battery. It does such a great job sucking up dirt and hair that yes it does have to be cleaned out often. Not a problem. I have 3 cats and I use this on a daily basis and have for over a year. I will run out and get another if and when this current one ever wears out!

I use my swivel sweeper between major vacumes for touch ups. It picks up hair that my big vacume can\'t catch. My Hubby took a swivel sweeper to the fire station he works at and they just love it too. I like the way it can get so close to the edges and in tight spots that a big vacume can\'t.

I actually purchased my Swivel Sweeper on the recommendation of a friend. I love it! I could not be more pleased with this product. I have four dogs and this product picks up hair from the carpet and wood floors fabulously! The battery has lasted for hours and I have no problem with the brushes. Shame on the numerous people complaining about having to empty the tray after use - how lazy can you be! It takes a split second to empty the tray. This product was worth every penny and I highly recommend it to all.
