for use on tile, wood, and linoleum type floors its great...batteries are nimh\'s so thats great...easy to use and to empty..cleaning hair off rollers takes a bit but is just maintenance...and silly people just need to go to sharper image online and get it there...16.95 plus about 4 bucks shipping and no hassle at all. overall a well put together product for 20 bucks...have given several as presents and people raved... forget doing rugs unless very short nap... pics up cat hair like a pro..

Mine is working fine. Yes, you have to clean the hair out of the rollers once in a while, but Dude, you have to do that with any type of vacuum cleaner or sweeper with rollers- hair just gets stuck there. I've also got a couple of Shark sweeper products, but I like the Swivel Sweeper better- much better battery life for one thing. It's very simple, works fine, worth what it costs. If your house has so much hair that it is a problem for this sweeper, I would suggest a canister vacuum cleaner that has no rollers. But you pay the price both in $ and heft. This thing isn't designed for deep cleaning, after all- just for quick pick-ups.

I find it sad that so many people have given up on their Swivel Sweeper. I love mine! I have two cats that shred a lot. The Swivel Sweeper gets up all the hair, the cat litter and even bits of string. I can do my whole house and kitchen in one quick sweep. I love the fact that it gets to places that I cannot. Yes, you do have to empty the container each time. And yes you do have to use the included ripper to pull off the stuff that gets tangled up. But, I don\\\\\\\'t find it to be such a hardship. I gave one to a friend of mine who has 6 cats and one dog and she loves it as well. I believe this to be a good product and I recommend it to everyone.
