We ordered our Turbo cooker off an infomercial on the tv over 5 years ago, I remember, because it was before our daughter passed away 5 years ago. So, it's been 6-7 years at least now and still have it and bought the turbo Jr which is smaller, but had no guide or receipes cards, which was fine for my husband & I. But, we also bought one for another family just starting out and they didn't get them in their box with their turbo jr either. I would just like what was suppose to come with both of the turbo jr cookers. I told her she would have to look on line to see if she could fine the guide and cards. We loved our big one so much that we got the smaller one for a christmas gift for our friends. I got real lucky today and found (2) big turbo cookers at [] and I bought them for $6.99 each what a deal!!! My daughter inlaw and son have been looking for one ever sence they seen ours and how it worked. She used it herself, when they were home for a year. She couldn't believe how you take it from the freezer, say(chicken)and in less than 1/2hr the chicken melted in your mouth. It made a believer out of the two of them. I made a pineapple upside down cake from the receipe card, when my dad was still alive, he loved the cake.

I used my turbo cooker for the first time, boy did it save me time. I am one of those people who dirties up every single pan to cook one dinner. lol. I wanted to cook something simple tonight because it was getting late. Everyone knows the Homestyle Bake products take about an hour in the oven. Instead of putting this one in the oven, I wanted to try it on the stove top. It took 22 minutes for it to completely cook. That knocked off at least 38 minutes of cooking time and endless time on dishes. I have one pan to clean, 2 plates, 2 forks, and that is it! For us that is a miracle itself lol. The only problem I have had is I have bought the buy one get one free, it didn't come with everything it was suppose to, plus I ordered extra stuff with it, to make them identical. The second one is for my mother for helping me out with my child. She can use hers, but she doesn't have all the stuff she was suppose to get. But, I did call and it is on the way. They have been real nice to solve this problem. I can hardly wait till I cook in it again!

I used to use the top rack for steaming Tabasco chicken wings, but now just cook/brown them right in the pan. I cook EVERYTHING in this except steak, which I like rare. My sauces come out really creamy. When I'm cooking something that needs to cook off liquid, I'll usually set the lid to open or just use a splash guard. I honestly don't understanding about the burning, etc. Between the differences in burner heat and pan type, even microwaves, I monitor my dishes closely until I know how certain recipes cook on my stove. I don't trust times provided. I love this thing and am considering buying another, whether as a replacement or to have two.

I've had this pan for many years and it's about the only one I use. I do all the cooking for a family of four, and use my TC at least once a day. Scam? Naw... Need time to get used to it? Yup, but worth the effort.

I bought this for my dad for Christmas several years ago. While he's a "culinary purist" and has little regard for "new-fangled gagdets", I rarely cook with anything else. The racks and accessories I could do without, and the lid does tend to leak steam, but the pan itself is ideal. Non-stick, easy to clean, it's great.

My mom-in-law bought one and makes a ton of stuff in it and often makes lunch for us. I keep asking her to give it to me because it makes the BEST cornbread ever! A scam? Whatever! Now if you want it to spin straw into gold, you are just difficult to please. Its a great product and I'm going to get one!

My mother decided do buy this in March of 2001 and we thought she was just a sucker for infomercials (which she is) and we were really skeptical. But once she made a few meals which only took 15-20 minutes we were impressed. Everything is cooked in one pot so there is not a lot of things to clean. She also had a tendency to overcook EVERYTHING but the turbo cooker prevents her from do so. The only downside is that it takes up a lot of room so we store it on the stove when its not in use but it is a good cooking device for people who dont have a lot of time and arent the best cooks in the world.

I bought my Turbo Cooker in December 2002. Do not worry about storage space...it will stay on your stove. Once you get the hang of it, you will wonder how you ever lived without it. It is fun, fast, convenient and easy to clean.

This product makes cooks very quickly, and meats and leftover turn out tender and succulent...and it is really does all different kinds of cooking processes to a perfection!!! I love it...

Me and my family have been using the Turbo Cooker 4 or 5 years. We have had it so long I forget. We love it. I bought my parents one because my Dad has heart problems. I took it to them and taught them how to use it and they love it and are eating healthier. I have grown children who moved out and one of the first gifts they wanted was a Turbo Cooker to cook their own meals with. I love the way the vegtables taste and the chicken. We use our turbo cooker almost everyday of the week. I have three daughters and they all use it. I think a lot of time people just dont take the time to learn how to use it and doing things different are hard for some people. We use no oil in our Turbo Cooker only water. It is the healthy way to cook and the food tast great. Thank you, Victoria

I still use my Turbo Cooker, five years later -- it's one of only a handful of informercial products I've ever purchased, and it's the only one I still use. True, I only make the breakfast pizza and turbo chocolate cherry cake anymore, but it's still worth it just for that. :)

My mom bought this form a TV infomercial. It actually worked much to my surprise. I have made chicken breast with the vegetable on the rack a few times with great success. I also used it for reheating meat with steam instead of microwaving it and zapping out the moisture. I made the chocolate cake with the diet soda and the cherry pie filling topper and it was so moist that it was totally falling apart!!

This product like any product that you cook with takes time. Its a wonderful invention. Nothing is perfect in life, this product has saved me time, even my husband, who doesn't cook, see the difference. Its makes the greatest marinara sauce, in no time. It's ashamed the people, have to get mad at a company and product, when, they just aren't taking the time to get to know it. Thank you Virginia Happy Turbo Cooker

I have to take a moment to defend the Turbo Cooker. In December of 2001 I purchased a Turbo Cooker at a local [] after seeing the informercial on TV. In the four years plus that my wife and I have had the Turbo Cooker, we use it on average five to six days a week.  We don't even look at the recipe cards anymore, as we've adapted recipes to use in the Turbo Cooker and it has worked great each and every time. My wife, who has always been skeptical about buying something that was seen on an infomercial, doesn't know what she would do without it.   And trust me, after four years of using it as much as we have, I've considered getting a second one and storing it away in case something happens to this one. Some people may have had bad experiences with this product, but not my family.

I think the turbo cooker is one of the best products on the market.  I use it to cook everything, and there is a website that you can go to to take an ordinary recipe and convert it for the turbo cooker.  my family raves about how tender the meat is and steamed veggies, they love them. and the fact that you have to only use one pan, great not having to wash all those pans you would normally use.

Wow! Amazing. This is the best product I received so far this century! I have had my Turbo Cooker for almost 3 years now and it is without a doubt a GREAT product. I have had no issues with it burning. I use my own recipes and have gotten plenty of compliments of how good my meals were. Its very easy to clean and manage. I highly recommend this product to family and friends.

Loved it! I wish I could find another one. I used it till the non stick coating was almost gone. Bring it back.

I cannot believe anyone could say that the Turbo Cooker is a scam.  My sister and I both have a turbo cooker and have them for about 4 years.  I use it for everything and does exactly what the infomercial says it does.  I love it and would love to have another one to cook twice as much.

I am dissapointed that the Turbo Cooker infomercials are off the air. While product could be a bit sturdier, it performs as advertised and is in no way a scam. If some retail outlet sold them, I would certainly buy another one. I have had some of my greatest culinary successes using the Turbo Cooker.
