I paid over $300 for prescription orthotics and have had them for over 5 years. I wanted another pair for other shoes but can't afford the cost. I saw Walk-fit in TV and thought it was worth a try. I LOVE them. Even better than the expensive ones. I asked my doctor and he said not to waste my money, but I told him they work great for me. I am on my feet at work every day and have a heel spur and plantar faciitis. Doc said the problem with them is they don't fit 80% of people properly but they fit me perfectly. I will definitely buy more. I had no problem with my order. I refused all the options they offer and everything was to my satisfaction.

I am on my feet for hours at a time at work. I have scoliosis and underpronate. My lower back is constantly in pain. I saw the infomercial and ordered them right away. For $20 I figured even if they sucked, it'd be worth a shot. I too felt like I was walking on a golf ball for the first few days. Hurt like hell. But after the first week or so, the discomfort went away. They certainly aren't a miracle, but my back pain has lessened and the soles of my shoes aren't getting runied from rolling on them. I'd buy them again, but at a local store.

I bought a pair a few years ago and they sent the wrong side and could not get anybody to help on the 800 number. After a long time I found this wen site and called Mary and the problem was solve within a week. I got two new pairs, they fited right and I love them. Give walk Fit Orthotics a chance. EC

First of all, I found this place and made a complaint, HOWEVER, after finding the email address of Mary listed below I contacted her and she assured me that both charges would be credited back to my account.

THAT is GOOD service. The CS guy I talked to today would not do that. Contact Mary if you have a problem.

I love Walk Fit Orthotics. They are a great product. I highly recommend them. My complaint was with the customer service after the additional charges.

Buy the product, but make sure you don't get opted into additional purchases and you will be happy!

I can't speak for the issues that people have had with shipping and being overcharged. But, I can tell you that these orthoics have been a God sin for me. I certainly will be careful in my ordering addtional pairs. I hope that the company get its act together regarding customer service. But this product is wonderful and I have been recommending it to everyone.

This product has reduced the severity and frequency off my back pain. Many people have complained about how uncomfortable these inserts are. They start out that way, but as someone else stated on here, is that there are instructions for using them(a break-in period). It tells you to only wear them for one hour at first and so on. After your feet get use to them they get comfortable. As for the people having problems getting there money back, expensive shipping and the other products they send with them, these can be purchased at retail stores. I found them at [](only had two sizes) and then I went to [], a store in our mall. My first pair I ordered through the informercial. This pair is for my work boots and I got them through a retail store, because I also thought the shipping was outragous. You still get the sandle things, but thats it. Plus, no hassle if I were to return them.

I can\'t give this product enough praise! I purchased my first pair a few years ago after trying everything else to cure my plantar fasciitis. I could barely walk in the morning when getting our of bed. After only a few weeks of wearing them AS DIRECTED, my pain was gone! I just ordered another pair on-line, and I can understand why a lot of people received things they didn\'t order. The website ordering pages were a little tricky, but I managed to spot and bypass all the hidden offers. I highly recommend this product!

I can certainly understand why these things would not work for everyone. Placing something under your feet and walking around on them all day is a very personal thing and I cannot see how one product will solve everyones problems. Just because a product like this didn\'t work for you, doesn\'t make the product a scam. We aren\'t talking about an appliance or other piece of machinery here. The way some folks here trash this product, you\'d think there is no way it could work for anybody. Well, that is not the case. I purchased mine at the recommendation of a physical therapist. I had tried several pairs of custom orthotics and continued to have ankle problems. When he recommended the walk-fits to me I rolled my eyes and thought, oh yeah - one of those \'as seen on tv\' products is going to help me. I figured for $20, why not. That was two months ago. I have not had ANY ankle problems since. I am walking, running - doing whatever I want and for the first time in years, I don\'t have to go to a chiropractor to get my ankles popped. Needless to say, I am very very surprised. They also fit in shoes a lot better than custom orthotics. These things do work for some of us, and work very very well.

Okay a lot of people have been complaining that walkfits hurt there feet. well lets look at it like this. If you walk in a "Sloche" position with your neck and head bent forward(many people walk like this) and then try to stand up straight It will more than likely be uncomfortable and hurt and you will return to your "normal" stance. the walkfits work in the same manner. they correct your foot stance so of course it will be uncomfortable for a while. Make sure you wear they correctly. use Wide/flat shoes, have no padding in shoes, don't tie laces tight, etc etc. people just want something that will be soft and cushy and give them immediate gratification and I believe that it why so many people complain. I order a pair and my plantar fasciitis is now gone and I can run again. Im not sure about the shipping complaints I received mine in 7 days with rush deliver and there were no extra charges.

wow I don't know why people are so mad about these insoles. Order one pair online with rush deliver and got them in 10 days shipping weight was 2.44 pds. no overcharges. I used them as directed and they work. I have had plantar fasciitis for 1yr. no more pain! Make sure you us them as directed!!!I think thats why so many people complain is because they don't us them correctly. If you have plantar fasiitis I recommend them

I am not really defending the product or the company practices. But after reading that someone wrote to Mary A. listed at the bottom of this page I thought I would give it a try since I was having difficulty getting my refunds. I received a response in a few hours and within 2 days my credit card had been refunded. Thank you Mary A.

I guess the moral of the story is just don\'t order them from the company itself. If you need them either go to [] - every city has one or order them from [] online if you can. I am totally flat footed and started having pain in my knees. For me, and I am in no way shape or form associated with this company, they worked almost as soon as I put them on. I took them to a podiatrist who also said they were of good quality because of the hard plastic. Actually they were better and $10-20 cheaper than the one that her patients bought from her.

I have to defend this product somewhat. I too had planters fasciitis and I was in horrible pain and limping for 3 yrs. Although I completely understand the complaints people have ... I ended up doing the following out of desparation: 1) Removed all the existing padding on bottom of my shoes (inside of course). 2) Bought gel type insoles and placed those OVER the walk fit othotics 3) wore them ONLY for a few hours a day initially, for about 2 weeks and gradually increased the over several weeks. Once I was pain free (thank goodness) I switched to much softer arch supports... I remain pain free.

7/18/2007 - Pierre writes:
I am an overpronator, a common problem I guess. Is true that Walk Fit corrected the position of my ankles and knees and provide a good arch support when walking, I wasn't impressed when I used them on my running shoes, they are too hard and somehow lower the cushioning sensation of the shoes. In short I believe that for 19.99 this is a good product for walking but I wouldn't recommended for anything else.

I had what I now know was plantar fasciitis that was causing me extreme pain in my feet. I couldn't do anything about it but come home and put ice on my feet each night. It was really bad. I could hardly walk and would get stabbing pains in the bottom of my feet. I saw these on tv one night while lying on the couch with ice on my feet and thought I'd give it a shot. They took a long time to get to me, I'd almost forgot. And they were uncomfortable to wear at first. But I can honestly say they helped in the first week. That was a few months ago and I have zero pain now. I won't wear my shoes without these things in them. One of the few things I've ordered off the TV that worked as advertised.

Back in early January, I did post a complaint about the Walk-Fit orthotics. I just want to follow up that complaint with compliments to Mary A., an employee of the company, whom I emailed about returning the orthotics. She saw to it that I was promptly refunded, and her emails were very nice and professional. I would highly suggest that anyone who needs assistance with their order contact her. I got her email address from an earlier posting by the company on this site.

I purchased these from [] after watching the informercial on TV. Being hesitant to order directly from an infomerical number, I did a little bit of checking around for a reliable supplier and remembered that I had ordered from [] a couple of years ago on another product. I had the insoles in 3 days and they work wonderfully! No hokey extra charges on my credit card and no problems at all! The product is great!

I ordered a pair of Walk Fit Orthotics. I received them earlier than I expected. Am VERY satisfied with the product. I, too, have had "custom made" orthotics, costing many hundreds of dollars. My wife and I will no doubt be ordering from Walk Fit again. I did have a few minor problems with charges and the gel insoles, but I emailed Mary as she requests on this website, and I found her to be MORE than helpful, bending over backwards to see that I was satisfied. She replied to my every email and every concern. I encourage you to contact her if you have any problems. Thanks, Mary Ron

I have used custom made orthotics for approx. 10 years.  These are made in different ways, e.g., computer-generated mold, fibre glass molds, molding while standing, molding while sitting).  I currently have 4 pairs of custom orthotics.  I bought a pair of Walk Fit to try and am very satisfied with it.  The only disappointment is the "sandal adapter". They are velcro rounds that are useless. Wish they woudl make a thinner pair for dressier shoes.
