I'd like to complaint about company which is totally not responsible.I placed an order 7 months ago for supply total $55.70. I waited for so long for the product then finally I called there getting information that they don't have that in the stock. So I ask for refund it didn't have for me sense waiting I don't know how long for something I can't use anyway. A lady said I get money till 06/15/02. It,s already almost month later and I don't hear anything from them. I tried call whole past week but it's just no possible to talk to someone, phone it's always busy. I just wanted to find out what happened to my money. It's already 7 months. This is so ridiculous. Please help me to contact them.

I ordered one from the Internet site and they charged me for five, and I received none. When I called they assured me that two credit memos had been issued and they would come off my credit card in June or July. It is now July 16th and no credit has been issued and they no longer answer the phone number printed on the credit card bill. I want my $332.50 back. What can I do?

I ordered the energizer and was guaranteed delivery in 1 week the product did not come. I then after 8 weeks demanded a refund, still to this day no refund for the product. My bank statement clearly shows the date of payment, that was 4 months ago, I would like to know if you could tell me who to contact to get my money back. Each time I call the company they have no compete system or just don't answer the phone etc.

Ordered an AB ENERGIZER back in mid Dec 2001. Charged my credit card $78.85 and unit has not been delivered! That's been over a month ago. I did get ahold of someone at (858) 496-1100 with AB ENERGIZER and she said she will check on my order and call me back today or tomorrow. I'll keep you updated! However, all she took was my name and ph#. I don't see how she can track my order with only that information.

Well, I guess I have been scammed too.  I didn't want to believe it but after reading the other stories I am feeling taken and helpless.  I ordered the replacement ab energizer belt around Feb. 2, 2002.  I called back the next day to cancel and was told that I would have to wait 5 days to cancel.  I called back in 5 days and cancelled.  The person I was talking to told me that my order was cancelled.  I thought everything was taken care of.   However, when I received my credit card statement yesterday I was charged $93+ by ab energizer.  I called them to question this and they told me that my order had been shipped on Feb. 28.  However, they said they would put in a request for credit and I should refuse the package when it arrives.  Of course, I would do that.  I doubt that it was ever shipped.  I also doubt that they will credit my account.  I have called them.  I have e-mailed them.  I am getting no response.

I placed an order on-line for the Ab Energizer on January 7, 2002.  I received and e-mail from them letting me know they had received my order and it was being processed.  My credit card was charged on January 8, 2002.  On January 18, 2002 I received another e-mail letting me know my product would be shipped in 4 - 6 weeks.  It is now March 12, 2002 and I have had no response to e-mails and have been unsuccessful at contacting the company.  They have no contact information on their website and when I call the customer service line I get a busy signal after being holding for an extensive period of time (more than 1/2 hour).   This is not acceptable.  They charged my credit card and have not followed through on sending my product.  At this point I feel my only recourse is to contact my credit card company and see if they can dispute the charge.

I have returned the AB Energizer I purchased - it did not work.  I tried calling numerous times before returning item - it was constantly busy.  I certified it and kept a receipt of mailing - I also enclosed a letter. No one responded to the letter and no credit has been applied to my credit card.   The phone number is still busy.  I tried to pull up their website, but nothing happens.

in Jan. 2002 I ordered this machine, then called and canceled it only minutes later after hearing about the scams . They said it would not be charged, but sure enough 72 bucks comes in my bill on my credit card and like all of you I call and call no answer so I write, nothing!

Linda writes:
I ordered the Ab Energizer in early December and was promised a delivery date of 8 - 10 weeks.  I was quoted a cost of $72.90 that would be charged to my credit card.  When I attempted to follow up on the shipping status, I was given a number to customer service.  This number was for Customer service to Fast Abs, whose customer service representative were unable to locate my order.   Upon further investigation I was told by the Fast Abs reps that they were not affiliated with the Ab Energizer.  In addition, my credit card was charged in the amount of $85.94 instead of the $72.90 originally quoted.  My credit card company is assisting me in disputing the charges.  I am sending this website to my State Attorney General for investigation.  I feel that both Fast Abs and Ab Energizer are attempting to get over on the public.  They must be stopped before more people lose money.

I had ordered the abenergizer online in January, here it is March 11, 2002, and NO AB energizer!!!! But I have been already charged of course on my credit card. I can not get through to customer service, and after reading all the complaints on this web page, I guess I have to accept I am another one added to the scam list!!!! Please, what can I do? I don't have that kind of money to throw away!!!! I am very angry!!!!

Received the ab energizer two months after I ordered it. And once I received it one of the pieces wasn't working. When I phoned back they said I would have a replacement piece within 10 days. It has now been 30 days and still no replacement part. Also when I phone the 800 number it is now disconnected.

After purchasing the AB Energizer from Target, I ordered the AB Energizer "Premier silver club" which includes six months of batteries, gel, etc. After waiting 6 weeks, I finally received the shipment, which only contained 2 months of supplies. I have been trying to get in touch with someone at customer service for a month now, with no luck. The 800-457-0825 phone number just puts you on holdfor a half an hour or more, then gives you a quick busy signal, which means I am no longer on hold. I've emailed the customer service atcustomerservice@familyproductsllc.comtwice, with no response. All I'm interested in is receiving the missing 4 months of supplies. How in the world do you get a hold of these people???

I ordered an ab-energizer and was billed via debit card immediately but after weeks---at least 6---hadn't received the product. I tried to call... that was a joke... and finally came across an email address so I wrote. I actually received a response to my request for reimbursement and cancellation of delivery stating, "no problem I'll start the process." After 2 more months without reimbursement I wrote again. No response this time. after 2 MORE months... I wrote again...today... and I received my message back as undeliverable mail. This was my first 800 info order and my last. $72 down the drain...

I was watching an infomercial for the Ab Energizer one night, and thought what the heck, I'll order it and try it, because from what the people in the infomercial were saying, you get great results and you get them quick. I ordered it, and first of all, it was at least 2-3 months before I received it. I had ordered 2 belts, plus two extra attachments. I only received 1 belt and no extra attachments. Not only did I NOT get results, but it was painful. It didn't 'tickle', it felt like someone was constantly poking me with needles. Save your money, DO NOT buy this product because it will not work. Do it the old fashion way; Do crunches if you want tight abs!!!

I purchased the AB Energizer well before X-Mas of of 2001 and received the product on 1/1/02.  I opened the product, but never used it.  I immediately saw it as fraud.  I called them back within two days and I got no answer.  One week later I called again and finally got an answer.  I told them that I would like to send the product back for a refund and I was given the address of 7420 Clairemont Mesa Blvd # 103-334, San Diego, CA  92111.  I mailed it back to them "priority mail" (3) times.  Each time they would refuse it.   On the fourth time they accepted.  I have been trying since January 2002 to get my money back.  They have given me over five different addresses and 4 telephone #'S.  Please tell me how I can get my money back.  I don't have that kind of money to give away.  I have every single letter that I have written.  It is a shame that they can get away with this.  I thought that I was the only one!  Now I know better.

I ordered the second ab belt along with it's accesories about NINE MONTHS AGO I believe it was called the silver platinum something, it supposedly included a sixth month supply of batteries, ab gel, dietary supplement, along with a second belt. Needless to say I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING, NO PRODUCT NO NOTHING,however they did charge for it though. I tried feverishly to contact the customer service department, and finally got some guy on the phone and said it would be coming soon. THAT WAS SEVERAL MONTHS AGO and still nothing. WHAT A BAG OVER THE HEAD RIP-OFF!!!!!

I sent a money order the end of January of 2002. I received the product the end of April of 2002. I used it once when I saw on the news about the heart risk. So I called the same order number and there was a recording about a refund on the product. There was a address to write to them leaving your name and telephone number to ship it back. Also a email address. I did both. Three more months has past still no response. I tried again and it's the same recording.

This is in regards of the AB Energizer. I ordered it through a infomercial. They sent it to me right in the time that they told me it would be here. Used it for the 30 day trial period, was not satisfied. Sent it back to address directed to, for the refund. They recieved it, I sent it signature requested. Was told my account would be reinbused in 30 to 60 days. Well that was 6 months ago, and now still no money back. Tried contacting them by Phone # that was disconnected, and then no answers. Wrote letters but still got no response from them. If there is any one who could give me some information on how to reach them or contact them. This would really help. I can see that others are having the same problem with this company that I am also having.

The product market advertisement was great that it really made me think about buying it and trying it. I have being using the product for 6 days now and all I have is very unpleasant marks all over my abs because of the "Electrical Impulse"... Please do not buy this product..... IT IS A SCAM.

Kelly writes:
In March 2002, I mailed a check to abenergizer for $124.35 for the product and the "6 month club plan." My check was cashed about two weeks later. I called about a month later having received nothing in the mail and asked that I be refunded my money and forget the whole order. Since then, I have talked to ONE person (all other attempts were unsuccessful) and was told that I would be mailed a refund check, that was in May and today is September 6th, 2002. Today, I called the better business bureau of California and filed a complaint. I hope this helps anyone, including myself, who was scammed. I can't believe I fell for this SCAM and please, don't order from no name businesses, especially this one!
