I ordered the trial, recieved it within the alloted time. I tried the product and didn't like it, so I sent back the full order that was auto-shipped to me. I just called to follow-up on the refund. I got thru to an actual person within 10 seconds who let me know that they recieved the return and I would be getting a refund within 5 business days. The product did help me fall asleep, but I was anyting but refreshed when I woke up.

Never received the trial product. I was charged for maintenance fees 3 days after placing the order for the trial product. I have submitted a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Contacting Biotab directly is futile. They are aware of the poor business practices they use. The first person I spoke with put me on hold and then transferred me to another rep. When I asked the second rep for a refund she asked me, in a patronizing tone, if I understood what disclaimer means. Not only are their selling practices misleading, the disclaimer does not apply as there was not trial period.

The usual sleazy story--saw the commercial, sent for it, hated it, and without asking for it got the box. Returned it and after waiting 2 months for my refund they said (via email, forget trying to get them by phone) we cannot give a refund because the box was empty. Right. What a bunch of low-class crooks.

I ordered the so called trial box of Alteril and paid the postage. You are supposed to get seven days to see if it works and if not you can call and cancel future shipments. What they dont tell you is that your trial period begins the day you order the first box. In my case it took 5 days to arrive so I really only had 2 days to decide. I called and cancelled because the product made me sick, but for some reason the jerk on the phone would not give me his name or a confirmation number for cancellation. I received another box the next day and I called again to cancel. I got the same response, except this time is was a female so I believe that they tell all of their employees to not give you any record of cancellation. To top it all off I sent back the un-opened extra box and they claim that it was empty upon arrival so I will not get my money back. These people are true dirt bags and would highly recommend you do not give them your credit card info. I am still receiving boxes even after I have called and cancelled 7 times.

Alteril All Natural Sleep Aid is an absolute scam. Not only did it not work, but within 2 days, the company ([]) charged my VISA acct. an additional $36.90 for an order I did not make...and never will. I am canceling my VISA acct. and if need be, will hassle [] until they resend my 36 bucks...they can keep the damn $.97.

Alteril is a COMPLETE and total SCAM. When you order over the phone, they tell you that you only have to pay .98$ total for the trial offer. If you don't cancel before the trial offer is over, they will automatically send you more pills. Sounds understandable enough, right? Here's where this slimy little business starts the real scamming.... litterly two days after you receive the first bottle of Alteril from the trial offer, you will recieve another bottle...and then another...and another. Try to cancel, but it won't work. They will tell you that your membership has been canceled and all is well, but then you will continue to get bogus charges on your bank statements. $200+ later and I finally had to close my bank account.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! They go by many names; [] is the main one. STAY AWAY and report your scams!

Like many I called infomercial for free trial...after 3 days of using called to cancel any possible shipments. Unknown to my knowledge had already been charged. I called to get credit and was told the bottle was empty. Informed them was rts. Then told had to research. Called the next week and was told it might take 7 days before refund would be reflected on my account. Then after that time had passed and still no refund was again told bottle was empty. Told that they would have to research again. Total run around. Cancelled c.c. and hope they pay for all they have done.

I called the 1-800 number to try the free trail. Then I cancelled my order within the time frame, and sent the product back. Then the company kept sending me the supplement and I returned it twice, via air-mail. It didn't work for me and I was kind and corteous to the operater. But she kept charging my account for the supplement. I don't really think it is the company owners' fault- I think it is their customer service reps. They should really make sure to watch who they hire externally because If I was the CEO and had to take the blame for bad customer service, then I would be quite upset. It is not fair for the company or the people who intend to make products to help people. I think they just need to do a basic refund or research their customer service departments.

I have already told my story. The customers who have been scamed by this company need to some how get together on this and report as a group and file some kind of law suit if possible with the Fed. Gov't. and also see if we can get the U.S.States Attorney involved, because the ordering center is in India. They cannot communicate properly with us when we call from THE GOOD Old U.S.of A. because they can hardly speak English! We are totally getting ripped off.It is things of this nature that cause's the TRUE RED,WHITE and BLUE AMERICAN'S to want to get their guns out!!!!!

ordered 1 week free trial. was charged immeditally for the 30 day supply. that is WRONG! WRONG! WRONG! I was not informed that I would be charged for the 30 day supply before I had a chance to try it and cancel if I chosed to do that!

I tried to order the product. They send me an email saying they were sending me the product within 1 or 2 days and that was sometime in April and still to this day I have not gotten the product. I called the 800 number and no response. When I emailed them they are saying they cannot find my information. Please be very careful from not ordering from them. I believe this is a scam.

Same story as everyone else. Alteril now has a statement that wasn't there when I signed up for a trial regarding that you agree to future shipments. Of course they ship a monthly amount out just about the time you get the "trial" package. I got mine the same day!
Calling results in no answers and emails are responded to but in a meaningless fashion. The latest one answers general questions about Extenze and how to ship the product back even though my email that they were answering explicitly stated Alteril and referred to the fact that USPS sent me a message that Alteril had received the package, They hadn't even read my email obviously.
I had to cancel my card and I asked for a check refund ( I doubt I'll ever get a dime back)but they apparently don't give check refunds. This, BTW, was one of the few answers I did receive.
I called today by repeated dialing for over an hour and did finally get someone who hung up on me when she was confronted by facts such as 1) no prices appear on the web page so they could have charged me $1000 for a months supply 2) the trial period days were zero 3) there was no mention of a monthly membership when I applied and 4)their customer service was geared towards obfuscation not assistance.
Oh yes the product made me ill but of course the "trial" period didn't allow for such testing.

I too ordered the trial sample for a total of 97 cents. One week later, I received a full box along with an invoice telling me that they had charged my account for $36.90...I did in fact reach someone to whom I mentioned about this website and how concerned I was about being scammed, and his comment was "Everyone is entitled to their opinion." He says he will close my account, but after reading all of these complaints, I don't believe him, therefore I have already cancelled my card and my bank is going to give me back my $36.90!

I ordered Alteril about 5 days ago and called to cancel it and, of course, got a recording. I searched Alteril on the internet and found this website. I DID NOT want to be a victim of their scam so I called my back to see what they could do. They advised me to close the checking account. That way, this company can try to debit your checking account from not till kingdom come and they won't get one single cent because the card # they have on file is NO GOOD! Yeah, having to give up your credit or debit card is a pain, but you order a new one and it arrives in no more than a week. And that is a HECK of alot better than paying tons and tons of money to a scam artist. My advise, CLOSE YOUR CREDIT or DEBIT CARD!

I ordered the trial version of Alteril which at the time of order had no mention that I would be sent subsequent pills after the initial trial period. The web site NOW states that fact although who would agree to that not knowing what the costs of future shipments would be. The answer is no one so they must have added that to cover their butts. I just received the trial pact and noticed I was charged on the same day 36.90 for another shipment. The trial period didn't last for one night! I have called ( no answer of course) and sent an email (again no answer) and have cancelled my credit card which is a big pain but I had no choice. I hope I can get the 36.90 reversed through my credit card company but we'll see. I will be contacting the Maryland and California State Attorney's office.

The product was to be a sample - and they started mailing us stuff and charging our debt card. I did not autherize more that one a time charge - which was suppose to be free!
I can't find a number to call them. I found the complaint site when I was looking up their number on line. I still haven't called them. But I am now!
