This is a true scam. Tamara Marie Gibson is the president of Biotab Nutraceuticals, Inc., which is the maker of Alteril. I have located her cell number and have her home address. Cannot post those here, but I will be contacting the California State Attorney General's office as well as the California Department of Consumer Affairs with all the information I have. I urge everyone here to contact these two regulatory bodies to nail these people down.

I got a sample for 97 cents, and along with it the form that if not satisfied return all of used or unused product in 45 days....4 days later I noted they had billed my card for additional full month supply as well. I disputed it, closed the account immediately. They will get no more money out of me, and they wont get what they think they are going to get either. all they will get is .97, what I agreed to. The bank is now in possession of the info they sent with the invoice of .97... seems like they have been playing this scam for quite a long while now...how they get away with it I dont know.

This product does not work. I am trying to contact the Biotab Nutriceuticals to cancel and their mail box is full. When you go to the email address: extense@aol.com it does not mention sleep aid and you can not cancel that way either. Be careful as I did not recieve a bottle of pills I recieved a packet of 15 pills and now I have to ship them back unused and will probably be getting more in the mail.Sincerely, Nancy

They stole my credit card! I just read the stories here (they kept charging my account, and I could not contact them either), and called the credit card company to cancel the card. They said that three airline tickets were just purchased for people going to India! We must stop this company! Call your TV Station, and the local District attny's office! We need a class action lawsuit. I'm calling the Monrovia police dept and the local tv station.

They charged my account even though I cancelled. I have called 3 times since and there is no way to get through. They're always closed or "busy". I'm pretty ticked off. Seems they;ve done this to a lot of people. I hope they get taken down I'd love to be a part of a class action suit against them.

I too saw the product, Alteril on TV and placed an order. A few days later, I noticed that my account was charged the full amount even before I received it!! I called the company cancelled the order and requested a refund. I was informed that the product had already been shipped. As of today, Spet. 8th, 2007, I have not received the product nor a refund. I have spoken to many people at the company who keep telling me that I have to wait for the product to arrive before I can receive a refund. I KNEW THIS WAS A SCAM!!!!

I was watching the Alteril commercial and excitedly ordered their product. I was to be charged $0.97 and after trying the product, I could order the product. They have taken in excess of $100. out of my account in the last month!

When I saw the commercial for an all natural sleep aid, I called and ordered the free sample. I gave the phone operator my credit card number and address. I agreed to expedite the shipment and paid an extra $5. Three weeks later I have not gotten a better night's sleep while using Alteril because I never recieved it. My credit card was charged, but I have no product to show for it. I am interesed to see if I am continually charged as though I am on auto ship for a product I have never received. I logged onto the website for alteril, and I cannot click on "order this product" or "contact us." The contact link leads me to an error message. This whole experience is an error. This is theft pure and simple.

They put you on the "auto-ship" program and then when you try to call to cancel, you cannot get anything but a busy signal or no answer. I've tried many many times as have others on this site. It is a scam and my credit card company said the only way to handle it is to close your credit card act. which is such a hassle contacting everyone.

I ordered the trial version of Extenze capsules for male enhancement--the company automatically ships another package when you order the trial version and keeps sending them unless you call and cancel. Well, first of all, it took me 3 days to fianlly get a hold of someone to cancel the automatic shipments. After receiving the 0.97 cent free trial, I decided to return the product as stated by the companies return policy. The policy states To receive a refund on extenze, you must return your first bottle (trial version), either empty or unopened, plus any additional bottles you may have received. Only the first bottle may be refunded if opened. Any additional bottles are not refundable if opened. All purchases must be returned within 45 days. I sent the second box back within the 45 days UNOPENED for a refund. After about two months, I never got the refund so I called them. They passed me to 3 employees their the last being the manager who all stated that they received the package opened and that I did nopt qualify for a refund for that purpose. They have a nice scam going by telling customers who return the products that they were open so they do not have to refund their money...I am sure that they put that merchandise back for sales again as well. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. I wish there was a way to get my money $6.90 back. If anyone knows how we can bring down this company for a refund...you have my support. [] Sincerely, Randy

In early March 2007 I was watching an infomercial on the sleep aid "Alteril." I immediately dialed the number and ordered the one weeks free supply The catch was; in order to receive your free sample you have to pay .97 cents shipping with a credit card. I promptly gave them my number & they took my address and 3 days later I had the sample. Now it is two weeks later on March 23, 2007 and I just received another shipment for a larger amount of 41 capsules. I did not authorize this shipment. I promptly told them that I wanted my son to try it before we ordered more. They tried to sell me other products and I kept telling them that I only wanted the sample and if I needed anything else I would call them. My husband and I are on a fixed income and we cannot afford any excess bills every month. I had ordered this product thinking that it would help my son. He has been having panic attacks and anxiety quiet frequently and I am extremely concerned. He does not sleep much at all. So you see I was looking for natural things so that he would not have to resort to a lot of medical prescriptions. I tried today to call both numbers listed on the packing slip (800-419-4447) and (626-440-1747) to no avail. The numbers just kept ringing and no one answered. I just went onto the internet and found out that this is a scam. GOD HELP THESE PEOPLE! Thank you for listening to me, Sincerely, []

I saw the ad for Alteril on TV, just before we left on vacation for a few days. They sent me the bottle of pills and stated that I had 30 days to cancel. I called the two numbers listed all day long and no one ever answered. I then called the number where I ordered the product and they said to go ahead and report it to the Better Business, they could not help. This was ordered on 3/6/07 and as of 3/14/07 there was another charge to my account for $36.90. I have had to close my credit card acct. and pay the balance of something that I have not received nor do I want. This product does not work. They want you to try it for a few months. They way they are able to keep charging your credit card and making it almost impossible to disput. I insisted on closing my account. I think that ABC, Fox, LMN and other TV stations, should look into these commericals before allowing them to advertise.

In January 2006, I watched an infomercial for Alteril, a natural sleep aid. The offer was to try the product for only the shipping cost. I called and placed an order for the trial product. I received a sample as well as a fiber product that I did not request. Three days later I was sent a large bottle of Alteril even though I did not request it. I immediately tried to call the company's customer service number 800-419-4447. I tried the product and there was no indication that the product worked at all. I returned the empty sample bottle as directed with the unopened new supply of Alteril and a note dated 1/27/07 on a copy of the shipping invoice stating my frustrations. Then I got my credit card statement showing that I had been charged $36.90 on 1/16/07 and again on 2/5/07. I have been trying repeatedly to reach E-Vita Labs in Pasadena by phone but all I get is a busy signal. I called the order phone number 800-305-3674 to confirm that I had the correct customer service number and was told yes and Customer Service was available 8 to 5 Monday through Friday PST. More attempts were made by phone with only busy signals. After hours, I got a message without any identification of the company but stating the business hours and there is no opportunity to leave a message. Then I got online to research the product and the company. The so-called website is "under construciton." I also found another complaint at [] about the same product, being charged repeatedly for Alteril and not being able to reach the company. Then I found out that this E-Vita Labs has a tie with another complaint for a related company called Maximizer Health Products. Tamera Gibson & Robert Winters are tied to these two companies and have the same address: 3871 E. Colorado Blvd. #100, Pasadena, CA 91107 This company and these two individuals need to be investigated for Fraud!
