I purchased Avacore from Globel Vision tried it within the time granted returned the product on time within the 30 days granted and haven't recieved my credit which is now 4 months they till today 1/30/08 have not even returned a single phone call I'm sick of these scammers taking advantage of the consumer .They aren't a responsible Company don't fall into the same trap as I did.

I have been attempting to assist my mother on collecting a refund check for product sent back 3/30/07. I was also given the various excuses and lies about the disposition of the refund. First there was a computer problem, then they were extremely backed up because of the computer problem, then I was given a "supervisor's" extension to leave a message (no return call....what a surprise?!?!). At the end of almost each call I was told not to worry, a check would be issued in 3-4 weeks. Today I called (11/30/07) and was referred to a phone number of an attorney who is handling all the refund issues as Avacor is filing Backrupcy and reorganizing. Phone # 212-889-7400 Gilbert Lazarus. I have gotten the same exact story. Returned Product back in June. Have called 8 times since and got the same excuses (computer problems, still being processed). I call today to find out Global Vision has gone bankrupt. I spoke to their lawyer who says I probably won't get my refund. Now i'm trying to go through my credit card company to get something back. A total Scam!!

This company sucks. I bought 6 months of product in Feb. 07. I returned it in May and I still have not gotten my refund. They tell you when you call to have it returned that it is not a problem to refund you but apparently it is. I have called atleast 10 times and have asked to speak to a supervisor I am always told that the supervisor has just left for the day. And that they had a problem with their computer systems which has delayed everything. And on top of not getting my money back yet I received a bill for $83.00 for a UPS brokerage fee, 4 months after returning the product. My next step is the BBB then a lawyer. Do not by from this company they are scam artists and need to be shut down.

I bought the product in Nov 2006, used less than 30 days and returned it. today is July 29, 2007 and still have not gotten my refund. Customer service keep saying in 3-4 weeks you'll get a check in the mail. 3-4 weeks later nothing. I've called 5 times now with no results. These people are liars. Keep your money. don't give it to scammers.

I ord on 5/11/07 tried to cancel was told product shipped rec 5/21 returned unopened same day per Annie refund check still has not been issued 60 days later , she told me the manager is the one to issue checks I've called everyday this week but cant't get the mgr on the phone (meetings,lunch,busy or has gone home early I guess its stressful to deal with irate customers trying to get their money back AVOID AVACOR!!!

I ORDERED THE AVACOR HAIR PRODUCT ON 4/19/07 AND REFUSED THE PRODUCT DUE TO HEALTH ISSUES. I CALLED AVACOR FOR REFUND. THEY SAID THAT THEY WOULD GIVE ME A REFUND BUT AS OF 7/16/07 IM STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND. I CALLED AVACOR MANY TIMES FOR A REFUND THAT THEY WOULD GIVE ME DIFFERENT EXCUSES. THEY NEVER RETURN ANY OF MY CALLS. BEWARE OF REFUND ISSUSES....IT A BATTLE.

I ordered Avacor over the phone on 01/21/07. The package arrived while I was away on business and was returned to Avacor. they received it on 02/13/07. I called on 02/16/07 to cancel the order and they gave me a confirmation number. I have been calling them once a week since then (it is now 04/23/07) to get my refund, but I only get excuses: computer glitch, Annie is working on your refund, you will get your check in the next few weeks, etc. I think this company is a fraud. I have started procedures for a charge back with my credit card company. What a rip-off. We should all band together and start a class action lawsuit against these people. parent company is: Global Vision Products

I returned this product unopened and it took almost 3 months and about 10 calls to get my refund. Every time I called, I was told either my refund should be posted this week, or the computers are down. Finally I sent a letter with a copy and complaint to the BBB. I got my refund soon after that. Watch out for this company, they have very poor refund practices and customer service is no help.

I bought avacor in oct opened up the box to find its just minoxidol which as others have said is only 20 bucks a month there were also some generic cheap vitimans from korea I did not open or use any of the product returned it via certified mail have made 5 calls all assuring me my check was on its way minus my 18 dollar shipping charge ok Im fine with that give me my money back also they run the SCAM out of NYC the main company is in Mass or Conneticut cant find out anything else ? turned them in to Visa they have had other complaints ....Doug here western pennsyvlania

I recently reported this issue to the NY office of the Better Business Bureau. Be aware of their refund practices.

Avacor is a hair regrowth product that just simply doesn't work. The company gets around this problem by putting some Menoxadil (sp?) (which has been shown to regrow hair in some people) into their product but it costs around $100 a month. Plain ole Menoxadil (the only truly active ingedient) costs around $11.95 a month. So buyer beware. Avacor is being marketed during the Dr. Laura and Rush Limbaugh shows, so I guess that gives some people the false belief that Avacor can be trusted.

So now I challenge "AVACOR" and it's maker, to step up to the plate and show their independent studies and (un-touched) photo's. Becareful, because when these infomercial's are shown, there is always a "tag" line that states, "individual results will vary"! Well sure they will because we all have different genetic makeup, different metabolism pro and adverse chemical reactions to prescription and herbal formulas. Herbal formulas are NOT all natural. They can be just as dangerous if not more thatn some phamaceuticals!!! and thats a FACT!

Like millions, I ordered Avacor for my thinning hair. I used it faithfully (as directed) for slightly less than one year, with no results. I must admit that I loved the shampoo as it made my hair feel very clean, but not 500 bucks worth. I contacted the company, and returned the empty bottles. Within a month I had my money back (less shipping) as promised. Even though the product didn't work on me, I appreciate the fact that they did issue a timely refund, so I lost nothing.
