I ordered 1 set of augers, which should include the extenders and according to the Ad, a powerdrill. After about 5 weeks I received 2 set of augers and nothing else. It is almost impossible to get some body on the phone.

I ordered 1 awesome auger and received 2. Was charged a $25 shipping and handling fee,and no free drill. Waited 7 weeks and this happens.

This is a rip off! I was sent two augers for $28.90. I called to find out where the remaining parts are - the extender mainly and was told that to receive that, I would need to authorize more shipping and handling cost. In other words, I just paid $28.90 for two items that can be purchased locally for about $8. If I want the free extender and drill I need to authorize more money. This is nothing but a scam and should be immediately stopped. I shall try and get some of my money back by sending the two items back and getting credit card credit. This may be stupid on my part - I probably should take my lose and learn a lesson.

For Mothers Day my husband and son ordered the awesome auger for me. 7 weeks later I still had not received it. I called customer service and was told it was on backorder, but I would receive it in 1 week. I waited another 2 weeks and called customer service. After over 15 minutes of being on hold (i love speaker phone) I finally got a human. She told me that my order had been canceled because it had been on backorder for so long. She gave me the option of reordering. I refused to reorder. My son is disappointed his gift to me will never arrive.

This has been the most messed up (to put it politely) buying experience I have ever had! To begin with when I tried to order the product by phone you could never talk to a person & the continuing offers from the wonderful Billy May seemed to be never ending. I finally got so frustrated that I just hung up not knowing what I had ordered if anything at all. I ordered in May and in late June got an email saying shipment would be delayed, then finally got the item in July. Of course, there was no drill as shown on the commercial in my package. On my first 3 attempts to call the company all I got was a message saying all were busy and to try again later. No chance to hold on or leave a message. I sent emails twice asking for someone to call me but the response I got was if I had questons to call them. Hello! I would not have sent the email if I didn't have questions. Then last night I finally got a person on the phone who was no help, asked for a supervisor. She sighed & put me on hold & promptly disconnected my call. So I called again, finally got a supervisor who offered to do basically nothing. I could send it back but they do not give back the shipping costs which is as much as the item and evidently they don't ship by weight as everyone else does. Huge ripoff company, reported to BBB for what it was worth. Will never order anything again!!!

I diffently am not alone for feeling so foolish. We got gypped! Expecting all these so called goodies and only get 2 little augers. How can these people sleep at night. Heavens when you do the math and 400 some complaints with at least $20.00 per order that's ALOT of $. Lord they sure will have alot of explaining to do on judgement day! With Gas prices causing everthing to go up we can't afford to just give our money away like this.

I ordered the awsome auger with the free drill and bla bla bla, 30 days money back guarantee. It is all a scam, I am sending it back and reporting to the attorney generals office and Better Business Bureau- the blades can't be used with out the drill that was supposed to be free... They never answere their customer service line and one can not get the return shipping instructions... Don't believe in this man's offers ever.... from this day on, I will not ever order anything from infomercials.....

I was going to buy the Awesome Auger online, but, while shopping at [] I saw them there. It costs $19.99 and it doesn't come with the drill and extender. I was going to return it and order online to receive the extras, but after reading these complaints I'm thinking twice about. The thing works well though, it is awesome.

For one small box, I paid approximately $80.00 for my Awesome Auger and cheaply made drill. The drill caught on fire the first time I used it. I paid 19.95 for the equipment I bought and the rest was P&H. I couldn't believe it. It was charged to my credit card before I received my shipment and bill.

RESPONDING TO THE AUGER INFOMERCIAL, MORE THAN 8 WEEKS AGO, I PLACED AN ORDER. I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN SOMETHING WASN'T RIGHT BECAUSE AFTER GIVING ALL MY INFORMATION; THE LAST THING IT TELLS YOU IS THAT THE ORDER WILL TAKE WEEKS TO COME. AFTER SENDING AN EMAIL ABOUT MY ORDER TWO WEEKS AGO, I FINALLY GOT IT ON JULY 3RD. I GOT TWO AUGER BLADES NOTHING MORE; HOWEVER, CONTENTS WERE LISTED TO BE THE AUGER BLADES, 18" EXTENDER AND LOCKING PIN. IT MADE NO MENTION OF THE DRILL WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A PART OF THE ORDER. I HAVE TRIED SEVERAL TIMES THIS MORNING TO REACH CUSTOMER SERVICE; BUT, NOW THE NUMBER THAT WAS LISTED IS FOR [] AND ALL AGENTS ARE BUSY HELPING OTHER CUSTOMERS. SO, I HAVE SENT AN EMAIL LETTING THEM KNOW THAT I DIDN'T GET ALL OF MY ORDER. THIS WAS A TERRIBLE LET DOWN-I HAVE POSTPONED DOING LAWN WORK WAITING FOR THIS ORDER. BUT, WHAT CAN BE DONE TO EITHER GET THE MONEY BACK OR GET YOUR ORDER? THIS JUST ISN'T RIGHT!

I agree to all the people above. I saw the ad. on tv and went online to see how much the shipping charges are. After seeing the rediculous shippring charges I decided not to purchase one. So i clicked out of their site without finalizing the purchase . A week later the sent me the 2 augers with out the extension. total ripoff. I will report them to attorney general in state of ct. that billy mays is a crook and I will never buy anything that he sells again.

Well now I own it. I checked my bank account online and found that I was charged almost $50 for this product. I checked out the product online and found the product interesting. The first page was to enter your credit card information. Unfortunately I entered all the required information and went thru pages and pages of additional offers. I suspected something fishy that I did not finish the until the last page to confirm and I tried using the back page but would not back to the previous page. I thought it was canceled but my acount was charged. I happened to read all the complaints after. I shold have read the complaints before I ordered online. Now I'm having an anxiety attack after reading all the reviews - no doubt it will happen to me. How do i reverse the charges and return the product? Don't order online!!! You have no way of canceling before you even confirm the order!!!

I ordered the auger via the website & it too is a scam. I accidently ordered 2 auger sets & unlike most websites there was no opportunity to view cart or make any corrections. Countless attempts were made to contact customer service via phone and email...no response. I tried to cancel the 2nd order. I reported to BBB of Wisconsin(what a waste of time). My total came to $85.70 and $45.80 of that was shipping. If you return anything you lose the shipping costs & after reading complaints that people haven't been getting their refund I opted to keep. They shouldn't be allowed to operate. It's definitely a rip off!

Like many others I wish that I would of found these complaints before I was scammed also. Ordered the Awesome Auger that was suppose to come with the auger, ground auger, weed auger, power extender and also the drill for the great price of $19.95 + $8.95 shipping and processing and then get a second one, same exact deal for $14.95 + $8.95 shipping and processing, ordered totaled $52.80. Well only recieved the 2 augers and that was it, thought another box was going to follow, sure enough....no!! And then if you dont want it becuase of that you have to return it at your own expense?? I dont think so....thats just wrong. And you call customer service to let them know that you didnt recieve everything, well you dont get a hold of anyone, waited on hold for some one to talk to for over an hour and then got disconnected. I think it is a rip off and that everyone needs to tell their friends and family about this scam so that no one else buys this crap. Reported this to the BBB of Wisconsin and the Attorney Generals office. Its not that I want to return the product, its that I want what I paid for.

scam and cannot conbtact them. My complaints are like those listed by other people. I received 2 augers but no extender or lock pin after seven weeks. Reporting to the Attorney General, State of California, BBB and the Attorney General of Wisconsin, which is the State listed as a return address on the delvery box.

I wish I read these complaints first, I would never have ordered the awesome ANGER;I also received only two blades no extender as promised, was put on hold for 30 minutes no one answered my call; I sent it back called my credit card company and told them I am not paying for it; How can they keep on doing business. I also seen the same product on sale at [], but I was turned off because of they way they do business..What a scam; according to the TV commercial I should have also received the extender and drill not that I have to pay for everything separate, bad company

Like many others I ordered the awesome auger and the only items I received was the 2 augers. I contact the company by e-mail and explain that I didn't get tha extension and also the lock pin and I was not able to use the auger because it wont fit my drill. They refer me to another e-mail address in which I send another message but so far I don't have any response. I will not get any more items from this company and is a shame that they scam the people the way they do. I sure hope they close the business and put them in jail for doing a false advertisement and take the people's money. Jorge

7/3/2008 - Richard writes:
LIKE MANY OTHERS RECEIVED ONLY THE TWO AUGER HEADS NO EXTENSION PIECES OR DRILL. WON'T REPLY TO EMAILS OR PHONE.FIRST TIME RIPPED OFF LIKE THIS...THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN...

7/2/2008 - John writes:
After receiving the auger 6weeks after completing the Rush Deliver there was no drill or extension. I had to go purchase a cordless drill, not enough extension cord to reach around my yard and I made an extension to fit. I feel that i was ripped off from Billy Mays and the Telemarketing Company. They advertised all the components and only shipped partial. I was never able to get any representative to talk on the phone. It is amazing that they are allowed to do this type of SCAM. Chalk it up to Lessons Learned, these people will eventually get what they deserve. Maybe an auger you know where.
