Pretty much same as the others I just read. We ordered the basic advertised order for $19.95 and thought the shipping charges were $8.95 and then we get the package and it shows S&H fees that were much larger. This is very much a scam!!

Ordered one - got two and charged for two -then there is no drill - then no answer from customer service and they won't let you stay on hold - then you cannot contact online via email as they say you can - then you have to pay for return shipping and processing fee??? How do they get away with this???

I never authorized the order. Yet I received one. And now they want me to return it minus the ridiculous amount of P&H (process and handling) even though I never authorized the order. On top of that I have to spend more money to return it. This is outrageous. When you try to reach someone you can't even get through.

I ordered the awesome auger with a free drill and extender for 29.95. I Only received the 2 augers. When I call the customer satisfaction number it is always busy and they click me off and tell me to call back later. I tried the email address too, but got no response there either.

My 71 year old Mother called me to help her locate a phone number so she could tell the Awesome Auger people they left off the 2 drills and the extention poles. She only got the 2 Augers. When I looked up the web-site: AugercustomerService.com it was just a bunch of links to selling stuff without a real person or links to setting up call centers to sell stuff, etc. It was of no use.
As I kept looking I came across this complaint web-site and started reading the entries to my mother and we both realized she had been tricked and swindled by this company. We will file further complaints with the BBB in Louisiana and try to get the charges removed from her credit card and like the rest of you, Never, EVER buy anything Billy Mays sells. That should put a crimp in his style!!! We will join a class action law suit if one gets started.

I purchased the Awesome Auger through the TV ad and by telephone. When I received the product it did not come with the extension which the ad expressed. Upon calling the Customer Service number I had a difficult time getting through and finally after holding and listening to music for about 1 hour I finally spoke to a Rep. I was told that I did not agree to the extra shipping and handling for the extension and clip that was supposed to be part of the original order. I have to agree that the whole deal is somewhat of a scam as I was not satisfied with the product or the exorbitant shipping and handling fees.

I received my awesome auger one month ago.when i opened the box i received a cheap electric drill instead of the battery operated drill shown on television. It was advertised for $19.95 and about $9.00 for shipping and handling. my billfor the auger was $56.80 Since i didnt want the cheap electric drill they sent i didnt use it. i used my own battery operated drill.it worked ok on diging holes for my plants butwhen i used it on some small roots the head of the auger snapped off. i called the company several times but received no answer no matter how long i waited on the line.i also e-mailed them and again received no reply so want to report that the awesome auger is a awesome rip off thank you. PS They claim if the auger is returned they will refund the purchase price less s&h they keep twice as much of my money as the original purchase price.and we wind up with nothing.

My Mother order this product for my 82 year old father and it is not what they expected. No extender and extremely high shipping charges. Mom tried to call and get a speak to someone regarding this and returning the product (so called) and was hung up on. This is totally unfair and rude to everyone. This vendor should be ashamed of themselves.

This company is a scam. Do not buy from them or you will be sorry. I ordered from the website, and ended up with $91 in charges for something that should have cost $20. The website takes your credit card info and processes the order without giving you shipping rates, your total bill or confirming the order. The company won't cancel orders, and won't refund all your money if you return the items. Stay away.

On May 5th I fell for this scam and I wish I had known about this website before I ordered the product.I had a sinking feeling in the middle of the ordering the product online and there was no way to cancel. I have tried calling so many times and each time is a very long hold time. So many emails went unreply. Stay away from Billy Mays and his cronies! Please tell anyone you know not to fall for this scam. I am filing a complaint with the BBB of WI and any other sources where I can complain to. I hope this company gets hit with a class action lawsuit. Stay away from this shyster company!!!!

Purchased auger and upgraded power drill to cordless drill for just $20.00. Received 3" and 4" auger and cordless drill. Charges on card almost $80, $53 of that was S&H. Did not receive the power extender. No resolution with customer service number. It says all lines are busy, try again later and hangs up. Have emailed three times already and still have not received any resolution. Never, ever order any "As seen on TV" product, ever again. Everything is junk. Worst experience ever

I called and ordered the auger and not only was it automated, but they kept trying to up-sell, and it took over 30 minutes to order. Well it cost me $43.85 for the shark, and 2 differant sizes of the auger. I did not receive the extender with my order, and called their customer service # and it kept saying "Call back!" I got a fax # and it was "Bogus" also!I finally tried all of the "prompts" and talked to a person, and they are sending me the extender for ANOTHER $7.95??I saw the comercial again and it says, as well as their web site, that EVERYTHING ( 2 augers, the extender, and the drill is $19.95 +$8.95p&s!! How do we all sue this company???
Does anyone know how we can SUE them? They are a scam, and need to be sued! PLEASE HELP! The media needs to be aware of Billy's SCAM!

How I wish I had done a little research before picking up the phone to order the Awesome Auger! Only after I received the product and couldn't find an address or return instructions did I go on the internet. This site caught my eye immediately. I could have saved myself $97.70 if I had just taken five minutes to go on the internet. I ordered one for myself and one for my elderly mother. My first clue should have been the extremely annoying ordering process. Several times during this grueling phone conversation I thought about just hanging up. Never before have I had an automated phone system argue with me. Like everyone else I was less than thrilled with the product I received, and like everyone else, it sounds like I am stuck with it. My mother can't use this because she would have to get down on her 89-year-old knees to reach the ground. And I can't believe I agreed to pay almost $60 in postage and handling! Never again will I order anything Billy Mays promotes. This has been a $97.70 lesson I won't soon forget. I will also file complaints with the BBB and USPS and see what happnes.
