I ordered the awesome auger on TV.I bought it because of the free drill and extension offer.I received two augers-no drill,no extension, as offered. Attempted to contact them cia their customer service number, which is automated,or they say all agents are busy taking care of other customers- ? for two days they're saying this? My bill was 19.95,plus 8.95 shipping and handling.I shutter to see what my credit card bill is after reading the other complaints. These folks are a scam-Billy Mays is a pharse-I advise anyone buying a TV product to Google it first- could have saved a lot of headache.

Knew I should not buy anything from that loud mouth. What a joke I got the two augers that you can do nothing with! They don't tell you what you need to purchase for it to work!

I ordered this product due to the TV commercial on 4/5/2008. It was to arrive in 2-3 weeks so I did not purchase the extra quick delivery. It has now 5/05/08 and the equipment still hasn't arrived. Fortunately my credit card has not been charged either. I do want the product so I am going to look for it elsewhere. This appears to be an entirely "Bait and Switch" type offer. They get you on the phone and offer you all sorts of upgrades for their equipment. If you buy the upgrades you "probably" receive the equipment. I did not buy them and did not receive anything. I had paid $28.90 on my discover card and nothing has been processed. I am now reporting what I feel is a shabby process and supplier. I may try to get this from [] or not. I have not made up my mind. After being treated this way I do not want to give them any money. However the product does have some uses for me and I will probably still find some way to get it....or just wait for Augers to come on sale at some equipment store like Harbor Freight! What a rip off they attempted to be!

I purchased from the internet which showed that I was to get two augers, an extension and a free drill. The box showed up and there was only 2 drills. No extesnion and no drill. I decided to look into this and found this site. Luckly I did not have to pay over a hundred dollars for shipping. Had I known this would end up like this I would have ordered another product from a reputable company.

What can I say? I thought I was getting something good -- it's all crap! No drill, no extender, more shipping/handling. I won't believe that guy on TV anymore. Wish that I had found this forum before purchasing.

Same sad story; received box with 3" & 4" augers, no extension or drill. E mail address does not exist and either get busy signel or hang-up when I call. AL

Well Billy Mays just robbed me too. It's a pretty smart trick this company plays on customers. I only ordered one Awesome Auger but received two full sets which shot the shipping cost up to over $79!! I returned the extra auger with my calculation of $53.24 which I beleived I was owed for the extra item I did not request, the sales tax, and half of the S/H charges plus a note threatening legal action if I did not receive this full amount. I just checked my credit card statement and I got a refund of only $16.18!! Why should I not receive a refund of the outrageous shipping charge if I did not order two items to begin with?!! These scam artists and their leader Billy are going down!!

what a scam. purchased one set, billed for 2 sets. recieved only 4 short augers and billed $17.90 for shipping. No drill included or long bits. Tried calling customer service number for several days without success. Sent an e-mail tonite. Will ask Amex not to pay if they do not respond.

First off I had ordered it and then had only send me half of the Awesome auger. Then when I tried to call and tell them about my problem they would not get me to a representative. So i wait about 2 weeks and I've been trying and they put me to where the elevator music is play and they never answer.(by the way before I get to the elevator music its a voice recording it says to please hang up and try again).

My mom bought this auger off an infomercial with Billy whoever on the tv. It came and her card was charged $61.75 when she was told it all would be $19.95 plus $8.95 and another $3 or so for faster shipping. She wasn't informed over the phone that the drill and other "free" accessories would up the shipping/handling so much. I see that on the webpage it says "plus s/p" but it doesn't tell how much that is. HOwever, she wasn't on the net she was over the phone and they didn't tell her. Now, she tries to call and ask about it or return it and there is NO response from the phone number...just automated and "all customer service reps are busy" etc. No offer to wait for one to come on the line just "call later". it's a scam!! don't buy it!!

I bought the Awesome Auger and received it but was charged the sum of $118.65 Shipping & Handling!!!! Not at all was I was told it would be. I cannot contact the company to complain about this because my packing slip contained no address and the phone number on it is disconnected!!!! I tried looking on the web for a phone number, but the only number is to ORDER it and there is no way to get a real person on the phone. Does anyone have an address or phone number to contact this company?? I was really RIPPED OFF!!

I ordered 2 of these "awesome augers" @ $19.95 for the 1st set, and $14.95 for the 2nd set. I was CHARGED $19.95 PER SET, AND SHIPPING CHARGES OF $65.80 (for what could be shipped for $10) That brought my TOTAL ORDER TO $105.70 MY CREDIT CARD WAS CHARGED $134.51 AND THEY WON'T EVEN TALK TO ME ABOUT REFUNDING THE EXORBITANT SCAM, OVER-CHARGES!! Stay clear of this and any site being sold by the same guy---

I haven't used the Drill because it had a seam down the center of the Drill and it had separated - would be dangerous to use, I was charged $l53.55 The order was $49.95 the balance was for shipping. It is just a huge rip- off. I have tried over twenty times to get return confirmation always told to call back Reps are busy. 100% Satisfaction is promised. I have now asked my Bank to intercede awaiting their decision.

I received two of the same items. Charged $77.00 for a $19.99 product. Tried to get in touch with customer service for hours. I will never buy from them again. Hope they enjoy the money. No more will ever come. Chalked up to lesson learned.

My husband asked me to order the Awesome Auger for him, I did. When we received it, we charged the battery of the free drill like it said, but when we went to use it it would not work. The light came on but he the drill would not rotate so we knew there was power from the battery. I tried calling them, and finally got thru after many attempts. When you do try to call, they have a recording stating that they are all busy to "try back" in a few minutes. So you need to keep redialing and you keep getting hung up on. When I finally got thru, they gave me an RA# to exchange the drill, but I pay for the return shipping. There customer service and product is really unprofessional and I wish that they had not even had that commercial.

My mother ordered the awesome Auger for a gift. no extenders in the box and she was charged 48.00. I tried to call customer no service and if everyone is busy they dont give you the option to hold. if nobody answers the phone their system will hang up on you

I, too, ordered this item from TV informercial and accepted the free bit. I was charged a nominal amnt for S&H for auger, but $40 for the little bit. Total shipping for about 5 lbs. was $62 !!! When I called I only got runaround and when I asked for supervisor I was put on hold for a long time then cut off. I will contact credit card co. and refuse bill and report to state AG office.

I ordered two of the awesome auger, near the end of april. They asked me for my credit card number and I did give it to them. The shipping and handling was not quoted to me. When i received the two augers and opened the box to look at the packing list/invoice, I was shocked to see SHIPPING to be $103.60. I have been trying to call Customer Service for almost a month. A recorded message asks for the telephone number used when ordering. Then to the selection of numbers, 1, 2 , 3 and finally 4 that is supposed to be Customer Service, the same recording came on and said all Cust Serv attendances were busy, PLEASE CALL BACK LATER. One day I continued calling nearly half a day. The only response i got was like described above. Never was able to talk to a human being.
