I saw the ad on t.v. and it sounded like a wonderful deal. I called in to place my order and, much to my surprize, the drill that i thought was part of the ad, was not the fisrt drill on their ordering system. Paying not enough attension to what was said, I accedently ordered the corded drill. When it got to the cordless drill, I realized that I had ordered the wrong drill. I waited for a chance in the ordering process, that would ask to confirm..... but it didn't come. There was a E-mail to contact the company and a phone number. The e-mail was never responded to and there was never a chance to contact by phone. No voice mail and an automatic cut off every time the customer service line was announced busy. What they have done and are still doing, if it is not, should be against the law. If there is a possibility to file a class-action suit, I will take part.

I felt I was mis lead by the TV infomercial. Did not receive all of the product for appropriate usage as advertised. Can't use the auger pieces I did receive. Would like to return but have had no luck speaking to or hearing from an associate of any kind in that company. Would like my money returned asap. Billy Mays should be held accountable.

We ordered the auger over seven weeks ago. We have written to them regarding when we will be receiving the item. They were quick to take our money and I purchased bushes to be planted that are still in pots waiting for the auger. Has anyone reported this business?

Ordered this for my Mom since she didn't have a credit card. What a big mistake! Website is like no other I've seen, no chance to view your shopping cart or confirm purchase because they don't want you to know the shipping charges. The toll free number to customer service is a joke as it always disconnects you. I've never been able to talk to anyone and sending emails gets no response. This is false advertising at it's best and scams people out of money. Rest assured...I won't stop with just a complaint here.

We are unable to try this product because even though we called and told them we did not receive a complete order we have now paid $81.75 and still have nothing we can try. The Awesome Auger was advertised to be $19.99 plus shipping and handling the auger was suppose to come with two ends one for digging holes and one to break up the ground. You were also to receive a free drill and an extender with a lock and a end that was for removing weeds then reverse it and deposit the weeds for disposal. With the first shipment which was $28.90 with only a $8.95 processing and handling fee we did not get the drill or the extender and lock or the weed attachment. When my husband called they tried to pressure him into ordering more but he did not. This time they resent two of the ends we already received the drill and an extended warranty for $4.95 that we did not order and then charged $47.90 processing and handling. This is such a scam. We are on social security and have limited finances. We both have bad backs this is the only reason this commercial looked so appealing with the extension and easy weeding. I am afraid to call and try to get what we ordered for fear they will again charge us at least $47.90 processing and handling. Sincerely, Markel and Kathleen

My understanding from the website was I would get the following when I ordered for the $19.99 offer plus shipping: awesome auger ground auger and the following for free plus shipping: power extender weed auger I did not want the Drill as I have one and didn't want to pay the shipping and handling on it. I expected to pay about $38.00. Now I check my charge which is still pending and I'm being charged $56.80. Even if they charged a $9.00 in shipping for both the extender and weed auger I would expect to pay only about $47.00 but that is not how it is advertised. I have not received the auger set yet to see if they even ship me all the parts. I was SHOCKED as to the price I was being charged. I guess all I can do now is ask my charge company to dispute the charge and write to the BBB. GRRR!

I bought this for my father. I bought the full package for with the extension. The most important part was the extention since my father has a hard time bending over. They sent only the ground auger with no extention. I e-mailed customer service that stated it was a failed e-mail. I call customer service an 866 number you pay for. I hung up after 20 minutes and no acknowledgement. Please save yourselve the time and frustration. This company should be ashamed of itself and it's ethics!xngxk

I ordered the product from a TV ad. I expected to pay $19.95 plus shipping and also receive a free drill. I was billed in excess of $48.00. Additionally, I didn't even receive the necessary parts for the auger. I've tried to call them for two days and get a message to call back. Needless to say I'm angry. I have contacted my bank but don't know how successful I will be.

I ordered this product 2 weeks ago. That very day, I tried to contact the company to cancel my order, to no avail. Their customer service # over a 5 day period, was unavailable as service people were "on other calls" and I was told by an automated voice to call later. I e-mailed their customer service e-mail address 4 times, and the last 2 times it bounced back to me saying it was no longer valid. I never received a response to the 1st 2 e-mails. Today I received the package and refused to accept it. Now I have to deal with my credit card company and refute the charge. I plan to notify the BBB in Wisconsin and will file complaints to anyone else I can think of. It's a scam and I should have known better.

I ordered the Awesome Auger expecting to receive a cordless drill as was pictured on the add. The Ad said nothing about it being optional. What I received was useless without a rather long extension cord. The shipping was also extremely large 41.80 on a 29.95 product. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB. I have had good results from 'As Seen On TV Products' until now. Billy May would be wise to disassociate himself from Awesome Auger.

My order arrived on 5/03 - about 10 days after I ordered it. I had tried to cancel my order due to a $56 s/h fee that I was not informed of. Couldn't reach anyone. Decided to use it on Sunday. Worked great for about 20 minutes. Went to dig hole for a large plant. Drill wouldn't turn, heard a loud "pop" and smoke was rolling out of the drill. The plastic shell of the drill also was split from stem to stern. I will continue attempting to get in touch with someone due to the "30 day guarantee" but won't hold my breath. Last time I'll ever order anything from TV!!!!!

I love to plant but because our soil is hard to dig, my planting is limited. I ordered these tools despite the overpriced shipping costs because I thought these tools would help me start a new flowering bed. What a big disappointment! I tried to first take out the grass to prepare the bed but the auger just kept on rotating without removing the grass. These tools are good only for soils that are soft or "prepared" like in their company TV ads for which a simple spade could have done the same job! I tried to email the company to complain but their mailbox was "disabled."

billy mays is a creep. 19.95 for awesome auger, extension and "corded drill"-which isn't the drill shown on the ad. total = over $80.00 ; $20.00 original, $20.00 for drill upgrade, $20.00 shipping for the auger set and $20.00 shipping for the upgraded drill. unreal i think billy might even be gay.

I purchased the auger for one reason only. I can no longer kneel on my knees. I was supposed to get the extender and the weed puller. All I received were the augers and drill, which is electric and not portable. I would not recommend this item. The spot welds look like they were done by a child.

I ordered the awesome auger for my husband and the price was $19.95 plus $7.98 S&H and an added $4.95 for express shipping, so I figured my account would be charged $32.92 thats what it adds up to , well my account was charged $61.75, the breakdown being on my invoice $19.95 for the product and $ 41.80 for S&H, this is cearly fraud on their part, and will not refnd me if I return the item. I do not want the item it was nothing like what was shown on TV and the amount was outrageous. the S&H charge was more than the product itself, and the product is not even worth the $19.95. this was the first and I have to say only time I will ever order anything on TV infomercials. I was truly scammed and this has to be illegal,I myself am on a fixed income, being disabled, and could not beleive how dishonest a company could be. I am desperately looking for help in this matter. This man that endorses this is no better than a common criminal, and I beleive we should allbe compensated for all we have been through. If there is anyone out there that can help us with this matter please do so.

Oh my, I just got taken. Wish I would have looked this site up first. On the TV and on the website it says 19.95 for the Awesome Auger, the Ground Auger, the Drill, the weed auger and Extender. What they don't tell you until you check out is the drill is an additional 19.95 then an additional 20.00 to make it cordless, I can get a Dewalt at Home Depot for that... Then you have to add the ground auger, then add the weed auger, then add the extender. I was just ordering 2 for myself and a friend and it did not give me a total when I checked out and it said after I checked out to allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.. I wouldn't have ordered if I had known all of that in advance. From what I can tell it looks like I am paying $140.00 for something that was suppposed to be 40.00 and I didn't even get the ground auger, weed auger, or extender... What a rip off, I will be reporting them to the BBB and doing a charge back with my credit card company, this should be illegal and probably is!!!!

After purchasing the Auger for $19.95 plus $8.95 shipping I received two augers (3" and 4")Nothing else! What the heck do I do with them. I have called Customer Service for 3 days and nights. I have been on hold until my phone battery died. I sent email. No reply. After reading other complaints I'm afraid what my credit card will be charged. The return label was removed from the packing slip when the items arrived. I am 73 years senior and this is the first time I have been screwed by a TV rip off.
