I called the company after seeing the product on T.V. Never, AT ANY TIME, did they tell me the shipping and handling cost. on top of that, it took nearly two weeks to recieve!!!! Why would i pay more for the shipping cost than the product?!?!?!? Makes no sense... Unreal... DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!

The purchase price of this great value was $19.95 plus s&h. Much to my surprise when it arrived the bill stated a $56.85 shipping charge. All I have to say is scam. No where on the web site are you provided with the actual shipping charges until you place your credit card # and order.

I purchased 2 awesome augers and only received 2- 2" and 2- 3" augers. I was also suppost to receive 2 weed hogs and 2 power drills which never showed up. I have tried numberious times to call the customer service number to no avail. The recording told me to go to a web site that doesn't even exist. I cann't believe that this guy is even allowed on tv. Then to add insult to injury I was charged $17.90 for SH. This company needs to be taken out of business before they rip someone else off.

I ordered the Awesome Auger, in fact I ordered two, one for a gift for a friend. After ordering from a automated person, I realized that they weren't sending me the drill that they showed on TV. That cost more. I tried to contact their customer service for days and could not get thru. I am seriously doubting that they even have one. I tried emailing them at an email address they gave me over the phone and it keeps coming back that it is not a valid address. Today I received my order and they charged me $62.75 shipping and handling. If I return the product I will not get me S&H back. This company is ripping off the public big time and needs to be stopped. Never again will I order anything that Billy Mays sells on TV. Buyer beware this stuff is junk and the company will charge you excessive amounts over what should have been charged.

I was just buying 1 from TV by phone, and when it was all complete, it was suppose to be 19.95 plus 8.95 for S&H. When everything was complete, it confirmed my order back to me, stating it was deducting 56.80 from my account. I replied "NO" to this transaction, and am notifying my bank not to authorize it. This is no way to do business, as there are no live phone operators, everything is done by automation. It's a very poor way to deal with consumers. I am not going to purchase this at all.

I ordered this product and spent over 30 minutes on the phone with an automated phone services trying to upsale and sell many other products. The Awesome auger was advertised at $19.95 with a free drill and free weed auger with power extender. While I believe i received everything much to my suprise the total amount billed was $56.80. Wow not that is some outrageous S&H charges. I can't even seem to find a phone number that you can contact the company! Lessoned learned, I will NEVER purchase another thing from T.V.!

My husband ordered the product for $19.95. He's now got a charge for $50.73 on his credit card, but no merchandise. We've read the complaints, and others did worse than we, but we'd REALLY like the phone number some refer to; there is no contact information on the web site, ergo no one to whom to complain or seek information.
5/2/2008 - Gretchen writes:
I should have read all the complaints and listened. I received this piece of crap yesterday and my husband put it together and it does not do anything except make you mad and frustrate you. Sure, you can return it, but what is the point when you will not get your Shipping and Processing back which is alot of money. Please do not waste your money and buy this. It is a scam and this should be taken off of the TV.

The first time I used their made in China electric drill, the gears stripped within 45 seconds of first use when I hit a tree root. I could hold the bit and the motor just spun with a whine noise. Instead of $19.95 I paid $48 and got two augers and a 110 volt 3/8" drill with no extender and two sizes of auger, that's all. This company should be sued and closed down.

On April 6, 2008 I ordered the awesome auger at the regular price and another at $5.oo less after seeing it on T.V. About ten days ago I received the two large and two small augers--period. None of the other parts have arrived. Attempts to call the customer line has failed as it is only an automated front. It is a shame they have to scam the public concerning a product that appears to be very useful. Legal action should be brought.
5/1/2008 - Richard writes:
These people need legal action for fraud and deception. Who knows how a class action suit is started? I tried to stop the process of ordering this piece of junk and escaped out of their website after I saw the spin selling and additional charges. Unfortunately, my debit card was dinged and I can not get them on the telephone to return and get my debt card credited for the charge. I learned a lesson the hard way. I am a VP of Sales and not all sales/marketing pitches are as sleezy as this one. Shame, shame on You!

Hey check it out click the link and the bottom of the page and listen to the ad on the sponsoring web site. permission interactive I fell out in the floor laughing when the thing said "no hidden surprises" That must be where the fool got the idea to hide all the extra charges for the ad. I clicked the contact us button and totally went off. I told them I hope I see them in court! And by the way if this web is here to add to the advertisement of the auger I hope I see you in court.

I saw this commerical on tv and went to the computer to order it ad said order today and get the bonus drill. As I was ordering after it had requested the credit card info a page came up asking me if I wanted to pay for the shipping of the drill of 19.95 hello shouldn't this have been asked before now. so I so ok well then it wanted another 20 to upgrade to a cordless. Two others I was ordering for said no way when I tried to contact them guess what no way to do that. I used the questionaire for new product ideas just to tell them what a rip off they was. My site went down and was never completed through all they're questions. I have no idea what they'll charge but I will dispute the fees right away! Does anyone know how to get the tv channel for broadcasting this misconceiving information. What a rip off now I don't even want to try the product. If the people have to rip you off to sell something then right away it's no good. Besides all the thing is is the metal stakes that you get as a kit to drive into the ground to stake the large canopies like from Sams. I checked the net and found you can get a similar item to what this rip off bunch is selling.

What a SCAM this one is , They say $8.95 S/H then charge $28.95 for the product. And the bad part is you cant get any of the S/H charge back if you return this junk.

I ordered a Awesome Auger cordless and all the attachments to go with it. For 19.95 as seen on TV they sent me a
Electric drill that was corded (not cordless) and two blades. How can I work out in the yard with them.
I fell this is a scam. My bill came to 53.00 that was charged to my visa.
The item that I ordered was so confusing on the phone. It was a tangle of questions. And no one to reply to but what they wanted to say .
I will take further action on this if they do not reply to me in person to Seattle this

The infomercial and the ordering phone prompts were confusing. It was a big ripoff low price with free options with excessive shipping and handling charges.

I also hung up the phone without completeing the transcation, but i received the box anyhow. I did not receive the extension for the auger and the battery charger for one of the drills does not work. i cannot find a number to call except the computerized one which does not help. the other drill, you could not get the battery off the drill to charge and it rattled real bad inside the drill. i am simply going to contact my credit card company and see what to do.

on the website it says, "Secure Server
Offer Details: The Awesome Auger takes the hard work out of yard work! Its patented spiral design with laser sharp edge, gives you the muscle to blast through hard rock and clay, or cut through the thickest roots, and easily power out rocks and stubborn stumps! It also works great for digging post holes, removing weeds and dandelions or planting trees, shrubs, and bushes. This powerful yard tool is available today for only $19.95 plus $8.95 shipping and handling."
and also states "30 day 100% money back guarantee less shipping and processing"
Maybe when they differ from the words "shipping and handling" -to- "shipping and processing" they get you by word trickery.
it also says on the bottom a www.godaddy.com secure website. maybe we should try to go there and file a complaint to that address as well?
no where on the website did I see a "contact us" section, no address, no phone number, no email, no anything on how to contact, just a huge "order here" red button asking all of your info with nothing of their info in return.
