I went on the website to look at the information. I decided to buy one auger if the shipping and handling was not too much. I entered my order for one, by credit card info and was waiting for a shipping and handling charge to appear and get the okay from me. The screen immediatelty went to a completed order of two augers and a P & H Fee of $25.85 for two augers that totaled $39.90. I called and there was no answer. I immediately emailed Customer Service. I told them what happened and I wanted the order cancelled. I did not received a repy. I got the order and I am going to report them to the Akron BBB and try returning it. Also, I am going to contact my credit card company.

I bought the auger in January and I didn't receive it until April. I was charge 143.13. I called the bizarre phone number to find out what had happened. The rep told me that I was charged shipping for each box. I told him the items came in one box with little boxes inside. He replied that each box adds more weight and if i have a problem with it, i should make a complaint to the US post office. I returned my product and was only refunded 21 dollars. I called the BBB in New York. They said that there is an investigation in place. I will never ever order anything through an infomercial and I suggest that no else does either. DO YOUR RESEARCH.

Do not order from their website. This company is a scam! The website will complete your order without confirming it, and the shipping charges are outrageous. My $20 order came to almost $90 with shipping. I've been trying to cancel my order for 3 days without success as no one answers their customer service lines. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY, you have been warned.

I just recently went through one of the informercial sites to order the Awesome Auger product. My complaint that I have with them is I just wanted was the $19.95 special that they was advertising on the television commercial. I ended up with a $102.70 order for just one product. I am trying in vain to contact this company to get my money back. I have emailed them and phoned them numerous times only to be disconnected. I have also filed with the Better Business Bureau out of the state of New York to see if they can assist me in getting this enormous problem solved. I would highly recommend to anyone who will read this post do not buy this product off of the internet because I believe I have been scammed by these malicious people.

My wife ordered thw auger adv., done by Billy Mays. We received this. The drill sent was not the drill shown on the TV Ad. This Adv. shows an rechargeable drill. The one sent was not rechargeable but required an extension cord. Running a 100 yard extenion cord would be more than just inconvinent! The shipping charges for a $19.95 bill was over $40.00. We spend all afternoon on 4/28/08 trying to reach the company {} without success. Consistently, the generic computer-generated response was: "All our customer services reps are working with other customers. Try back in a few minutes. Thank you and goodbye." I have called the WI Attorney General who referred me to the police dept. in []. I was informed by the detective division that I would be receiving a call-back. That was over an hour ago. There has been no call. This is a scam which is quite probably nation-wide. Nothing seems to be done. I've also reported it to AARP and the local MO and IL media. I suppose we are not to be priviledged with assistance.

I ordered the awesome auger with extension and cordless drill. To my surprise they sent me two short augers, no extension, and a drill with a power cord. They also took a ridiculous amount from my account and shipping and handling was way more than the product cost. Now I am stuck with an over priced tool of no use to me.I ordered a product that was needed for outdoor gardening and needed to be cordless for my use. I think the product being offered is not up to standard and the infomercials are a lie. If they can"t provide what they offer then they shouldn"t be allowed to take your money and send whatever they have available, that"s not acceptable.

I bought this product auger on the phone for the $19.95 plus shipping charge and was charged $56.80 on my credit card. I have tried to contact this company and they have refused to respond. This is the shitest company I have seen and I will tell everyone about them and will never but from this ass whole company again. This is bull shit for them to not respond to their adds.

Started with their television ad and then through the phone to try and order. Each step after getting my credit card number they kept trying to sell more and more of the products that are supposedly free in the infocommercial. Tried to cancel but have been told to call back because no one is available through the customer service line. This is grossly misleading advertising and Billy Mays should be asshamed of himself. I will never purchase another product he sponsors.

Do not order this product! You will receive multiple "augers" with no pins. Useless product. Just reported them to the Better Business Bureau.

i just tried to order awsom auger. at the end of the form it said total was 103 dollars with 65 of it being shipping. i had only clicked the auger itself the extension and cordless drill. they added a second auger to the order. i imediately called the phone number to cancel. she said the order had not been received yet and i would have to call back later or send an email to cancel. i tried both. first, the email adress confirmation reply came up communication failure and the telephone route said call back later. i tried 50 times. they dont put you in line to talk to someone. thet just hang up on you. you dont get to talk to anyone. if my card is charged i will be one angry dude and i am not the right person to mess with.

Scam, they have a toll free number, 866-504-7702 that you can call and will not hang up on you while you wait for a customer service agent. Call them at this number and make them pay for their crappy product by paying the long distance charge to call them. Call from a pay phone and it even gets more expensive per call for them.

I ordered 2 awesome augers and I was charged 125.oo. I have never received the augers.... I have tried to call but keep getting a caller line busy.

What a rip off, I received two piece of junk in the mail with no extension and no drill. My account was charged $28.90, I guess I am luckier than most after reading all of these postings. I've tried for days to get thru to customer service and all lines are busy..... if I send this abck i have to pay the shipping and handling...so that is more $$$$ that I will lose. When will I ever learn my lesson not to buy things from commercials. It took me 20 mins to get off the phone when I ordered this because they wnat you to buy more and more and more.

I ordered the Awesome Auger from a Billy Mays television ad. The price was to be $19.95 plus shipping and handling of $8.00. I received the product as advertised (with some minor exceptions) in a timely manor. However, I was charged the $19.95 pliu $36.95 shipping and handling. I had my local post office weigh the package as received and they informed me that the USPS shipping was $11.41. That means a handling charge of $25.44 was charged. This is a ripp-off. Bank of America VISA was no help. I will be closing that account!

I recently received to confirmation e-mails saying that I had placed 2 separate orders for the Awesome Auger. I did not place these orders. I only went to their website to see if this was a product that I would like to purchase. In order to get the offer details, you must first enter your billing information. I then decided not to order because I was disappointed by the offer details. But they placed an order anyway - not just one but two! I want to contact them before they send the product, but I cannot find ANY way to contact them. Their e-mails with the order confirmations do not contain any information on how to contact the company and there is no information on their website. I tried replying to their e-mails and received an undeliverable message. This is an incredible scam - they place orders you don't want and then disappear!

I just recently ordered (4-3-08)one of the little augers that was advertised on tv. It was 19.95 I was suppose to receive a handle for it. Instead they sent me two of the little augers. They put $52.80 on my credit card. I tried for over an hour to reach them by phone. I called and called . I may be 72 years old...but I am not stupid. I went on-line and found this site. I will write the "auger" people and tell them..."if do not hear from them about this matter...I will not only print out all of these complaints.. I will send all of them the [] KHOW radio station here in Denver. They will think they have a new...your know what when [] finishes with them. Thank you for giving the consumers a place to go to, to expose these rip-offs!!! Dottie

I just received my order which was all wrong. I couldn't believe the product was $54.85 while the P&H was 70.75. What a ripoff!!! I couldn't find a telephone number so guess I'll have to wait and watch the infomercial again which I should have done in the first place.

Well, I too fell for the scam. I placed the order on the website. When I was done the charge was $105 and some change. When I viewed my checking account I was double billed (orders placed on hold in checking) for that amount. Of course I was unable to reach anyone via phone because it was a weekend. I called several times during the week & no results. I did get an email address for customer service, at which time I told them to cancel the order. No response but the holds were taken off my checking account. However, a week later guess what? I was billed $105.00 for the auger that I thought was cancelled and it was taken directly out of my account without my permission! Now I am back at the beginning, trying to get the item cancelled and my money refunded. They also have my checking info which concerns me. I wish I had read these reviews first...

My husband and I saw the Awesome Auger ad on TV. He wanted it and we both thought it was a great deal. Well, I got so upset just trying to order the Auger. I never talked to a real person. All I wanted to do was place my order. In addition, all they wanted to do was sell me more and more products. I tried every day to call the customer service number after placing the order. I could not get a total price for my order. I checked my credit card on line many times to look for the total charges. The box came yesterday and we opened it this morning. They charged our credit card $73.70 just for the shipping. Now if we send it back they will not credit the shipping charges. We have been ripped off big time. I am telling you now not to buy any thing from this Company. Also, the quality of the product is not that great. It is made in China. We must stop this Company from ripping people off. We will help you stop them any way we can. Just tell us how to stop them. I will write the BBB today. I wonder how this man can sleep at night. Hope to hear from you soon

4/26/08 Ordered awesome auger and gave Discover card number. Was supposed to receive 3 augers & extension and power drill for Special Offer on TV for $19.95 plus S&H. We received the drill and 2 short augers for %19.95 plus $48.90 P & H. There is no way to reach Customer Service. There should be some way to get these croks off the TV. Harold
