I went to the website to order. After you enter your information, including credit card information, they reveal that the cost is enormously higher than you are led to believe. I decided not to continue with the order and exited the site before confirming or submitting my order. They sent me an e-mail stating that my order had been processed. I immediately responded to the e-mail and informed them that I did not place this order and do not charge my account. The e-mail came back as undeliverable. I called the customer service number on the website. I receive a recording that says "all operators are busy, call back". I have tried this numerous times. One time I received a recorded message that I can pursue my issue by e-mail. I have still received no response. They have charged my credit card for an order I did not authorize them to fill.

I was charged 41.80 for shipping and handling for a product that cost 19.99 this is way too much and i can not get anyone in customer service to even pick up the phone. I fill as though i have been ripped off.

Purchased 2 augers by telephone after seeing their ad on TV. They did not mention anytihing about a charge of $113.70 for P & H charges. The box it arrived in was shipped UPS and was out 24" x 15" x 15". I could not get them on the phone and this appears to be nothing but a scam. They should be prosecuted.

I received this box with two augers, no drill I was suppose to get three cannot get anyone to help me. I believe this is a scam I do not expect to pay for this item. It is an out and out scam on national TV. Here I come FCC. Thia has happened to so many people that I am afraid that not only the Federal Communications Commission has failed us but Network TV has shouldered a lot of this responsibilty.

This company should be shut down...I intend to deal with them on behalf of my elderly father. Not waiting for me to check this out, he went ahead and ordered this piece of junk (trust me, junk is not the word I want to use!). He told me he payed 'extra' for a 'expressed' delivery (7 days) Needless to say, he didn't get this piece junk for for 2 weeks. To add insult to injury, he didn't receive all the parts to make this 'wonderful' machine work right! Oh, the best part, he got a Samurai shark knife sharpener for $10.00! So his cost for this order of the auger and knife sharpener was 29.95, but wait...let's add in S&H.It cost him $58.80 to ship!!!
This company should be ashamed.

I ordered this auger to assist me in gardening. I have health issues and I thought it would make things easier. No extension or anything but just the two augers were in the box. After reading everyone elses experiences I must have gotten off light because they did not put any extra charges on my bill. These people are rip offs. I might as well have thrown my money away.

I finally got what I ordered and it turned out to be just two augers, nothing else. The bad part was I discovered two charges on my debit card (just under $100 each) that same day that I didn't purchase. The only way that could have happened was through this tv offer. I was able to get the charges off my account.
What a ripoff.

I ordered the auger over the internet. The web site is confusing and I ended up ordering two (2) augers and had no way to change the order.
When they arrived I received two short augers in each small box, a rechargable drill ( that is it is supposed to be, but we cannot get it open to recharge), but no pins and no extender. It cost me $77.75 a long ways from $19.95.
When I tried to call the customer service number, a computer would tell me that all of their reps were helping other people and to call back. An email address was given twice, but I'm not sure that I got it right. I did send an email, but do not expect an answer. I don't expect a refund either as I didn't use a credit card, I cannot contact them to stop payment.
I would like to see the Attorney General take action against this company.

I ordered one auger which was to come with some free smaller product. I received 2 sizes of the Auger. The shipping receipt says it includes the extention and a clip. But there were none in the box. The augers are no good with out the extension. I have tried to call their customer service number 920.966.6600 and I generally receive a response that all lines are busy, call back some other time. The whole point of ordering the auger was to stand up and have it pull a weed or dig a hole. This is a rip off of a product. Alice

I ordered this product the awesome auger for 19.95. The shipping charges were 59.95. This is horrible. I sent the item back, and asked for a refund put back on my credit card which has not happened yet.

Same story, just another trusting sap.
No extention, no drill, no bulb planter, just two small augars.
With this many complaints there must be something the BBB can do.
At least I hope they have shut them down.
I will do anything to help stop scum like this.

I started to order the awsome auger on line thinking it was 19.95 + shipping when additional charges kept showing up I decided not to order. Much to my surprise I received a confirmation order,
I sent an E-mail to cancel the order asking for a reply when none came I sent another E-mail
The next day(4/14/08) my credit card was charged $57.80. I tried to find a tel Number to call no luck.
The next day I was billed another
charge for $57.80 now up to $115.60 for a product that I thought was $19.95 + SP.
I now found a tel # and called after a wait for 30 minutes. I talked with a customer serv rep.
She refused to credit my charge but said the order will be canceled
Now I am being billed for nothing

I ordered the auger and battery operated drill on the phone. They also made me beleive I had ordered two battery drills. The order was to be 19.95 plus shipping. I charged 48.00 on my card. I decided they charged more for the second drill. I got this box with stuff rattling around inside as though something was broken. Upon opening there was no packing, just two small boxes loose in this box twice the size needed. I was shocked to find a corded drill, not battery operated, no second drill, and a box of a couple augers. I was furious. I called their customer service and said I was sending it back immediately and that I expected an immediate refund from this scam. The customer service hung up on me. I sent it back a week ago and still no refund has shown up on my account. This has to be the biggest rip-off I have ever had and I cannot believe I fell for it. Billy Mayes is an outright crook and should be charged accordingly. Somebody has to put together a class action suit against this guy and this company.

I received the awesome auger with just 2 augers, no pin to connect to the drill, no drill, and no extension. The add is totally misleading and when I called to complain I spoke to a woman named "Alex", who finally connected me to a supervisor since her system for some strange reason was "down". The supervisor was " unable " to come to the phone, and I left my name and number and a message for them to return my call. The ad is totally misleading and there should be something done about it.

I ordered the product online. I waited to see a total of what would be charged to my credit card and I hit submit. Then it charged my credit card 168.45. I tried to find a number to call on there website and could not. I got an email invoice with no contact information. I do not even want the thing, but cannot contact them to order.
4/14/2008 - Preston writes:
I am unable to use the product, because the did not send all the parts. As of today, we have been unable to contact them. The 1-866-504-7702 will not answer, the web site given, auger@custservdirect.com would not come up. I plan to send the merchandise back. After reading this info. I will now check my credit card.

I ordered the Auger a year ago with a free extension. The augers arrived but no extension. 3 weeks ago I ordered another set of augers with a free extension. Augers arrived but no extension again except instructions how to use extension. This is disgusting. I am looking around to find some kind of extension but will never order anything from this company no matter how good it looks.

I to ordered the supposedly awesome auger. To my understanding,
the charge for shipping auger
blades was $8.95 and for the drill
$7.95. If the awesome auger and drill are $19.95 and the shipping total is $16.90. Why on earth am I
being charged $56.00 for shipping.
Not to mention the $4.95 insurance.
Insurance for what ? This is the
biggest rip off in history of man.
Then you try to contact customer
service,and uit is always after
business hours. Something definitely needs to be done about this.

I tried to use the weed auger today for the first time. I had bought the cordless drill also, however there is not enough torque to remove weeds from mulch much less hard ground. The drill only held a charge for about 30 minutes and I had to recharge it. This is a scam and it is impossible to get your money back. Beware, you have definitely been warned about the ineptness of this product, what a rip-off.
