The same scam as the others. I received two augers that are useless. I also ordered the drill, extension and three augers. Only received two augers that are useless. What a rip off.

I surely got scammed. All I recieved was two of the same. They didn't fit together, wouldn't fit on my drill. I ordered the drill, extener etc. 1 month later I got two pieces of junk. Now I am trying to get them to accept my return and get my credit card credited, but to no avail. What can we do about people like this. How can they get away with scamming people all the time. I guess we the consumer is the sap.

Per the shipping receipt I purchased this product on 5/17/08. It was shipped on 6/24/08. After listening to the extended automated system which continued to add charges I tried to cancel the order without success. They shipped it anyway! They clearly demonstrate a cordless drill, I received drills with cords. They demonstrate the augar and weed ho and extensions. I received only the augar. Before I know what was happening I had ordered two because I wanted the cordless drills. The total for my purchase was $34.90 for product and $57.80 for handling! As I added the cost mentally, I knew something was wrong and tried to cancel the order during this call - without success. I have learned to NEVER place an order from a TV offer again! Always go to the web and verify the organization and the offer is not a scam. NEVER give a credit card number before you know what the offer is from those you are ordering from! NEVER continue to place an order from an automated machine! My wife was very upset when she finally opened the boxes and found no useful extension and no weed hog. We want to go to the Massachusetts department of commerce and complain. We came from Connecticut and years ago we were able to find the organization to complain to on on occasion. But Massachusetts makes it VERY hard to find the correct place to complain. These commercials should not be allowed on TV! Bottom line, you MUST protect yourself AGAIN. Our government has failed AGAIN! Lastly, organizations like Cable TV channels CNN, and all those who have run this scam DO NOT CARE. They like the money they were paid for the add. We cannot trust the business world to police itself.

What a peice of junk, the tv. ad is very missleading, could of bought some nice tools for what they charge for shipping. Of course they dont tell you what shipping is until after you order it, then they do not send your order number to your email so you can cancal. They are just plain stealing my money. They ought to be locked up, you to Billy Mays Hays

I too was scamed from the Awesome Auger infomacial. I called to place an order as seen on TV. Buy one get one free. Yeah right. The automated system would not shut up offering me things with high shiping cost that I don't want. I got tired and hunged up without finishing the order as everyone else. To my great surprise, a miniature box landed at my front door with a man made miniature electric drill and two pieces of metal. Right on the spot, I wanted to trash the whole thing, but I realized I would lose $48.85 too easy. I have 6 mouths to feed. After fighting for 30 mn, I decided to call [] for a fraud on my Account. My money was credited was pending investigation. If they want their piece of junk, they will have to pay to have it shipped back to them.

My story is the same as all the others. This product and the people that are responsible for this kind of scam should be locked up. I didn't get the extender or the drill. I ordered 2 sets, one for my mom and one for my husband's mom. They are not able to bend over or sit on the ground to weed their gardens. So I thought this would be perfect for them. My husband did take it out and tried it with his drill, he was more impressed than I was. I plan to report them to the BBB. This should be illegal. This is just like shoplifting in a retail store or identity theft.

I saw the infomercial on TV and thought what a awsome product, I did not do a research on this product just buying a new home thought it would help me in making the work lighterm anyway I purchased one and after about 8 weeks it came, to my surprise it is nothing that it chalks up to be. I am so dissapointed the drill does not turn when the blade hits the earth it is a waste of $76.00 ( hard earn dollars for that matter) the worst part of it all is that you cannot reach anyone to complain to. it is funny when you are ordering the product there is someone ready to take your order but after that no one can be reached. I am very dissapointed in the advertisement , the product and the customer service. they have a terrible product and there is no one to speak to about it. I would never introduce this product to anyone.

My experience is very much like Kathy's 7/31/08. I ordered the Awful Auger on 5/11/08 as a Mother's Day present to myself and accepted all the free add-ons. I also selected expedited shipping for $4.95. When the items hadn't arrived in the 4-7 business days promised, I checked my credit card account -- NO BILL. Then I checked the June bill, the July bill -- no charge to Awesome Auger. But there it was on the August bill, so I called to say that it was too late, I didn't want the danged thing. I was told I'd be credited for the expedited shipping but should wait until the box arrived, then call to make arrangements to return it. From there it was the same as Kathy's story -- no refund on Postage & Handling, the bulk of the order cost, and I'd have to pay the return shipping cost. After talking to the Senior Customer Rep, I was told I could get credit for the P&H on the drill -- which is JUST A DRILL. Don't we all have one or two of those around the house!?! After more grumbling, I was told I could keep everything and they's refund $10 plus the $4.95 for Exp Shipping. After a moment of thought, I decided to RETURN THE POORLY PACKED BOX, just to have it out of my house and my thoughts. CAVIAT EMPTOR big time!

This item was purchased for $39.99 using an automated phone system. Since it kept trying to sell me extras I just simply hung up the phone and assumed since I didn't complete the call, I wouldn't get the item. Well, much to my dismay I received this NOT SO awesome auger about 4 weeks later. And all the FREE items that you get cost me $70 in shipping and processing. When I contacted the company for a return they told me they would refund the Purchase price ($39.99) but none of the shipping and processing ($70.00) AND I would have to pay to ship it back. They give you a 100% money back guarantee (less S & P) Bottom line, it's a piece of junk and they get to keep their money by charging exorbitant processing fees.

I received this product, opened it, and it wasn't what i ordered. The mail carrier took it back as a refusal. I reported the charge to the credit card company, and first the charge was off, but then this company said they never reported it back, the charge went back on! When i spoke with them after numerous phone calls, they said you get what you get! NO CREDIT Today I received a phone call, and we went through the same thing, except now she said if they find it, i will only get 19.00 back, not 38.00. She told me it was past the 30 day return. This company is holding the biggest scam going, and we are falling for it! THEY HAVE GOT TO BE STOPPED AND INVESTIGATED.

I bought the awesome auger. The ad is misleading. There was no drill included. I finally bought the drill and used the 4 in auger. After it is used three times, the circle part of the auger came apart. It was not welded properly. Now it is just a rotating stick.

I called to order the awesome auger and after they got my credit card number they were trying to sell me may other items. in the process of the call I hung up because I was mad at that point. I now have a box that I paid $19.95 for a supposedly free drill and the shipping was $28.90.for a total cost of $48.85. I am on the phone now trying to get a live person to no avail. I want to return this thing and get my money back along with the rip off shipping charges.

I ordered the awesome auger because of what I seen on T.V., You get the augers and drill all for 19.95. I only received the two pieces of augers nothing else. When I called I talked to [] who only defended the product by saying that the ad said you got the drill when you paid seperate s/h charges for it. I along with countless of other customers understood that you got the drill and other items free when you ordered. [] said if I returned the augers I would be refunded the 19.95 minus s/h charges. What a horrible way to do business, I will contact the better business bureau and talk to my husband/attorney about what exactly can be done.

My father-in-law ordered this product in Mid-May. He was told that the auger would cost $19.95 plus $8.95 shipping & Handling for a total of $28.90. He finally received the product in late July. To his surprise his credit card was charged $39.90 for the auger and a whopping $73.75 for shipping and handling for a total of $113.65. I have e-mailed the company today and requested that he be credited the $84.75 that were non-authorized charges. I will report the outcome on this website - if there is one!

Buyer Beware. Stay away from this one. I bought this and had to wait about 6 weeks for it to arrive. I finally got around to opening the box and it is not at all what I expected. It is a piece of trash. I also thought it came with the drill, which was not in the box. I called and they said I could have the drill for another $40. Or, I could return it and would get a refund of $19.95, but I would have to pay the shipping to get it back to them. If I did that, I would only end up with $8 of my money back. Time to file a complaint with the State Attorney General.

I ordered the awesome auger the way they talked about it it would make gardening a lot better, wrong and double wrong. in the first place you don't get what they say you will get, then when you try to call all you get is a big fat run around, or nobody at all. Take it from me and I give it all I had, it is a real piece of junk. to the awesome auger people you need to be put out of a job, and in jail for taking peoples hard hernd money.

I ordered the auger over the phone, paid $4 for delivery within ten days and when it didn't arrive I went on line to find a number to call and saw this web site with all the complaints. Found out I was charged $116.43 for two augers, not the one that was ordered. Contacted the Better business bureau and managed to get the cost of the products credited to my account after I sent it back registered mail but [] paid the shipping and handling bill even though I told them I was being scammed. I filed a complaint with The Attorney General's Office of NY and The Federal Trade Commission. After I told the SAS Inc. Rep what I had done and that the Attorney General's office had replied to my complaint and was looking into it they agreed to credit my account for the full shipping and handling charge also. Don't give up so easily. My money should be credited within the next 15 days. In the meantime, I hope that the Governmental Agencies that I contacted will take appropriate action. G. Palmer

The infomercial is stunningly deceptive. For your $19.95 you get two pieces of metal with a blade at the bottom. I called three days straight. When I finally got a person, I was told that this box of metal IS the awesome auger. That I need to buy the drill (for free but about $40 in shipping and handling!) in order for it to work. You will save a lot of trouble to pass this lousy product by.
