I agree with everything being said. I just wanted the Bender Ball product @ $10.00 from benderball.com. I paid by credit card and now I am being charge for DVDs and stuff I did not order @ $50+ a pop. And to top it off, I have to pay to return this crap I did not order. I'm trying to get them to stop sending the shipments, good luck!. The line I was given when I called was that by paying for the first order by credit card I was authorizing them to charge me for additional merchandise whether I placed the order for the merchandise or not. I was automatically enrolled in the bi-monthly club. This was hidden under the I agree radio button when you agree to the terms for being charged on your credit card.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! I wish I would have read this BEFORE I paid money to this stupid company. The same thing has happened to me as everyone else here. I was not informed I was going to be charged for DVD's EVERY month. When I called, they told me I was to send it back and they would refund my money. I did everything they asked, and still...no refund. They told me I would not be charged anything else, and they are still charging my account, when I called to ask why, they gave me some lame excuse that they never recieved the DVD's back, when I tracked it, they had recieved them back! Liars!!! My bank actually charged me an overdraft fee as well, which Im trying to get refunded back. What a pain. This company sucks so bad! Do not buy unless you want the headache of dealing with them randomly charging you for nothing!!! SUCH A SCAM!!!

I received this product in a timely manner, but beware of the auto ship program that you are signed up for without your knowledge. I have tried repeatedly to get the shipments stopped to no avail. They make promises but do not keep them. They will not give out any information on how to conatct their Home Office. I am very displeased with this company and would not recommend them to anyone.

I just wanted to post my experience and the resolution I found to this stupid scam. Just like almost everyone else on here, I ordered the bender ball and waited 3 weeks for it to arrive. I also was charged for the autoshipment of DVDs that I specifically remember NOT enrolling in. When I called customer service to demand a refund, I was told to return the DVDs and I would promptly be credited the money back. I shipped the first one back, received verification it was received, and STILL was not given a refund. Then yet ANOTHER charge was deducted from my bank account, and this was after I told them to cancel. Seeing as how I never wanted this service to begin with, I was angry and determined to get my money back. I did, and here's how. First, I went to my bank and disputed the charges. The bank refunded my money provided that I give them proof I tried to cancel the service, which I did. I simply pulled up my cell phone records and showed them the numerous times I called customer service. I also had them stop any future charges. Then I contacted the Better Business Bureau and filed an online complaint. They are literally flooded with hundreds of complaints regarding this automated service they just charge you for. And just like magic, Bender Ball refunded my money after that. I recommend everyone contact the BBB and you'll see your money back within 3 days!

I ordered this product several months ago, I did receive it in a timely manner, and I have to say I do like the workout my abs get. But this company is a ripoff!!! First of all the do not tell you about the DVD's your going to receive, not to mention the hassle you get from the customer service when you try to cancel, oh and did I mention the that the $9.99 charge is really a charge of $29.98, as you are charged the additional $19.99 as soon as you cancel your ENDLESS shipments of workout DVD's. I just want others to know, you can go to [] and but the same ball by [] for $6.99, and quality wise it blows the Bender Ball away. Shame on me for being so stupid... Do not buy this product!!!!

I have experienced pretty much everything the other people reported. It took forever to get the ball and my credit card was charged immediately after I ordered the product. After ordering the product, I noticed that other charges were added. I immediately sent an email informing them that I did not want their product and how poorly and unprofessional their marketing strategies are. I got the item like I said numerous days later and I am really not impressed with the item.

I ordered the Benderball in June 2008, and to this day it has not arrived. I was charged immediately and to the best of my knowledge, I have only been charged the one time. unlike the majority of complaints against this company. I recieved a bottle of green tea pills, that I did not order and a dvd about 3 weeks maybe 4 weeks later, but still no ball. I have tried contacting customer service on several occasions, and was referred back to the trackorderstatus.com, both that and the benderball website tell me that they are experiancing difficulties in processing my order, when just weeks after ordering, it actually said it had been shipped and would be arriving at the local post office, this was on July 12th. I have fully paid for this item and have not recieved it, and cannot get it refunded either! I wish I had seen this website before I ever ordered this product. I wanted it for months before I finally ordered it. I am so dissapointed and angry!! I was really looking forward to using this product!

I ordered two bender balls. It took about three weeks for it to arrive. I was very disappointed and only. Before the 30 days was up, I saw a charge for 26.98 on my credit card. I contacted Bender Ball and they informed me that I signed up for autoshipment and would be receiving 2 shipments. I told them I did not want any other products and was returning what I had already received. They said it had already been shipped and couldn't cancel it because their warehouse was in California. I disputed the charge with my credit card company. After three weeks, I receive the second shipment in the mail. I took it to the post office to refuse it. The post office said they could refuse it but it would end up in the trash because it was sent the cheapest way so I paid 2.63 to send it back the same way it came. I'm waiting on paperwork from my credit card company to finalize the dispute. Beware of the Autoship notice if you purchase from this web site- Deceptive Business Practices. I didn't see it. If I had I would not have ordered the product. It also took them 3 weeks to refund my return.

At first I thought it was just me and now after reading the complaints on this site, it's definately the compnay! I originally placed my order back in April and 2 weeks later my package arrived. For the $21.49, which including the S/H and tax this item wasn't worth it. I contacted the company to inform them that I wanted to receive nothing further from them. I chose to eat the $21.49 because it would cost another $7 to get it back to them. Well, 1 month later I was reconciling my account online and there was a charge from Bender Ball and this time for $26.98! I immediately contacted them and got the run around about another shipment being sent. They told me that I never cancelled additional shipments and talked me through how to return the package once it arrived, that would include the RMA # and stressed the fact I should not open the package. OK, I followed the letter to the law and did what they stated, weeks went by and nothing! But wait, weeks did go by and enough for me to reconcile my account again and WHAMMO another charge! This time for $19.99. Fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice and I'm loaded for bear! I contacted the company again and was told that this fee was tied into the original cost and that no product would be mailed to me, as per the grunt that handled the telephone call. Upon asking politely to speak with a supervisor he informed me that the supervisor was in a meeting and would be happy to call me back. Yeah right, what person from an infomercial company would call me back based upon a complaint and wanting my money back on two bogus charges? I turned to email, carefully spelling it all out and that included the names of all individuals, dates & times, etc, with explicite detail of everything including the fact that I would have no problem taking the company all the way to the Attorney General for investigation on the basis of fraud! Suffice to say they credited me back the $46.97 that very same day! If you have the opportunity to read this, take warning that something is simply not right with any company who claims to give you return instructions and upon following them to the letter they claim NEVER to have received the package back, hence never giving you your refund! One final bit of information on verifying that you do infact return something REFUSED, RETURN TO SENDER. You can get a white slip at the Post Office, that looks like a receipt and costs $1. That is proof that your item was infact given to them for return to sender!

I wish I would have read these reviews prior to purchase. Before I begin to say anything about the charges I've still received I would like to say that this product is not worth a dime. It causes way too much strain on the back for anyone to consider using, no matter what kind of shape you are in. Now, a month after my purchase I had a charge on my credit card for $26.98. When I called and demanded my money back and told them I did not place any additional orders they said it was automatic since I purchased my item online. That was the first lie. There was a yes or no part that said they would continue to send me items only if I checked yes. I checked no! They said they would not refund the money until I returned the item. which I had not even receieved yet. I told the man to immediately removed my information from their system. He assured me he would and I wouldn't have anything else charged to my account. A week later I returned the item when I finally received it with the RMA # I was told to write on the packet completely unopened! Exactly one month from the initial charge I was charged another $19.99. I was furious. I listened to one of their representives tell me they received the returned packet but never explained why I was charged again or why my money was never returned. I spoke with a supervisor who said I would receive a full refund in a couple of days. That was July 27, 2008 and I still have not received my refund! These people lie! They cheat! They steal! I'm going to the BBB site right now and I'm fighting this. I want my full refund and I plan to get it!

I received the piece of crap after 3 weeks of waiting. Instead of sending it back I threw it away it was not worth the time or trouble! When I ordered the product on line they were offering a free exercise dvd & some type of energy boost vitamins so I clicked yes on that also having to pay for shipping for that! Well needless to say july 31st I was online banking when I see 2 different charges from bender ball for some type of monthly supply of these so called vitamins & another dvd which in turn I was not aware of these charges & have over a $100.oo in overdraft fees! So of course I call & they give me the fax# to their finacial which had to send my order# name phone# & they would contact me within 48hrs still waiting! So what I want to know is how to get ahold of the finacial dept or corp headquarters because they need to quit ripping people off!

When I ordered this product I noticed the offer for the extended bonus products they sign you up for automatically. I wasn't worried because you can call at anytime to cancel. I was charged for E-Boost supplement pills that I have yet to receive (not that I wanted them anyway). It has been a couple months. Anyway, I called and I cancelled and wrote the lady's name with whom I spoke and the authorization number down. I was sketched out after reading these reviews so I called my bank to immediately stop my debit card and issue me a new one. Well, I'm glad I did because a month later I got an email saying that they tried to bill me for my next product but that they were declined. Um, didn't I cancel? I appreciate these consumer reviews because a trustworthy company would never continuously steal money like this one. I called again to let them know I blocked them for a reason and was grateful that I did. We'll see if they make another negligent attempt. Oh and I expected a much better workout DVD! The ball will definitely provide a hardcore ab work but you're better off making up your own routine because Leslie's is soft. Good luck shoppers. :)

I ordered the bender ball on line and have experienced the same issues as the other consumers on this product. I received the bender ball which deflates after each daily exercise. I was able to at least purchase a $1 ball from the flea market that holds air in and serves the same purpose as the ball I spent $20 dollars on through this infomercial. I just received in the mail 2 CD's that I did not sign up for as I was very careful to read all fine print. When I phoned customer service they said I would be reimbused however I am contacting my credit card company and filing an appeal. It is sad that this company feels they need to scam there consumers after they purchase the bender ball. I would suggest not to purchase this product.

I've had the same problem as everyone else. I ordered the product at the televised advertised price from their website. I searched and did not see where I would continue to be charged and receive future product. But Bender continued to send product I didn't order and charge my credit card. I had gone back and forth with the company until this alleged "contract" was finally cancelled. If you REALLY want the product, look for it on []. But don't get scammed by this company. The first DVD was homemade and the ball was very flimsy. Then, more professional DVDs were shipped, but at a large cost unknowingly charged to my credit card.

8/4/2008 - Ashley writes:
I too have been scammed by the bender ball. PLEASE do not purchase this. If you have already purchased the bender ball, please call your credit card company and insist that no further charges from this company are allowed to go through. I ordered the product online and was NOT informed of any kind of automatic enrollment, yet 1 month after receiving the bender ball (which was complete crap--the ball is about 2/3 the size of a basket ball, and flimsy, AND, the DVD didn't work), I was charged 26.98 for who knows what. I called and asked them to reverse the charge but have not seen this happen yet. I am annoyed that I was taken advantage of by bender ball. This is the first and last time I will purchase anything from an infomercial.

Similar to other individuals I received a charge in my account of $26.98 from the Bender Ball company . I browsed the website trying to look for something that I might have missed that said there was an additional charge but there wasn't any indications on the webpage. So I emailed the company from the website and got the following response: Thank you for your interest in Bender Ball! Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for your inquiry regarding the Bender Ball. We would like to inform you that when you purchase the BenderBall you are automatically enrolled into our continuity program, as stated on your invoice. You may return any item within 30 days of receiving the package for a refund, less shipping and handling. If you have any questions please reply directly to this email. Thank you and have a wonderful day. Receiving this email response was very disappointing and I went immediately back to the website to see if there was any other information and came across this website which I totally wish I found before hand. I thought that this company would not be something I would have to worry about a scam and bought the product anyways. Now I'm pretty much stuck with a stupid good for nothing ball that cost me more than $47, which I may as well have bought a stupid ball from [] in the kids department. That would have worked just as well and probably would have cost me $2. So disappointed and pissed. For anyone who reads this. don't buy it and if it's too late for you too. go cancel your card.

I have tried to cancel three times since 03/08. They have continued to ship and bill my account. I am not imprssed with the product either. The ball will not stay put as it should, and loses air quickly. I spent half the video holding onto the ball so it wouldnt roll out from under me. I will be reporting to the BBB as well.

7/21/2008 - Mandy writes:
Thank god I read this site. We ordered the bender ball and then looked at this site for reviews. I was afraid of the scam so I called to cancel the order and was told I could call back tomorrow to change the order. I went right to the bank and canceled my debit card. THAT was 3 months ago. Bender ball is still calling me saying they cannot charge my card, even though I've called and written to tell them to cancel the order.

I ordered this product online in May - the special for $9.99 - the ball and DVD. There was nothing that I saw online that stated I would be charged monthly from that time forward. My account was charged in June for the purchase price of $20.91. However, I noticed on my online banking that I was charged another $26.98 in July. I contacted Bender Ball Customer Service, and was told that when I purchased this item, I was automatically enrolled in a continuous program, but that I could ship back the item for a full refund less shipping and handling. I didn't wait that long - I went immediately to my bank and cancelled my debit card. The bank told me that these companies can sell your credit/debit card account number to other companies and that you start getting charged for things you didn't order. The bank is handling the matter for me as a disputed item and is refunding my account.

I ordered the Bender Ball in May & received the product as advertised. The ball is garbage. Won't stay inflated - & very inferior quality. The real problem tho - is the continued billing to my account - I called the company June 17 to request they not ship me any further product. The said it was too late - already shipped additional tape and Boost Vitamins. Since the I have called 3 - times - have received 4 monre charges to my Visa account ranging from 19.99 to 26.98. I finally have had to contact my bank and cancel my Visa Card to prevent this fraud from continuing.
