I ordered this product on 2/27/08.I checked my account online and saw that Bender Ball had charged my debit card $26.98 and the transaction was pending. When I called to dispute this unauthorized charge to my account, I was told that I was enrolled in a "continuing program" and I would receive products from them on a monthly basis. I told them that they were not authorized to do this as I had not signed up for the continuing program. Their website said nothing about enrolling in any program. I was told to send the package back unopened with the authorization # 10645541 and write "Return to Sender" on the front. Now after 3 phone calls with some one who barely spoke English, I have gotten now refund. I have been told that it probably hasn't arrived, or the mail room is behind, to keep callin back. I didn't order this and it has ben weeks and I returned the product, I need a credit on my acount. It's as simple as that. I am also requesting that my account decline any further charges, since they seem to think that I orderd this for a lifetime, and will keep charging my account.

I was first put off by the product when I hadn't received it within the time frame guaranteed on the website. Once I received it I was anxious to use it. After spending an inordinate amount of time trying to inflate the ball (one of the straws dropped inside of the ball) I gave up and used it underinflated. After the much too short video, I decided to chalk it up to lessons learned and put the product away. This month, I noticed a $43.97 charge on my checking account. When I called customer service, I was told that this was spelled out on the online order form and that everyone who ordered online was "enrolled" in this program where they would ship you new products every month (DVDs they claim although I have yet to receive anything). The person I spoke with did say that I could return it and they would refund and supposedly I am now off of the list. This product is not worth the money and the hassle.

I ordered the bender ball two days ago and thank goodness I ran across this site and a few others because I called back today and cancelled my order. I attempted calling from my phone several times but was on hold for several minutes so I tried my boyfriend's phone and got through to someone on the second try. I had to ask for the cancellation number; he didn't offer it up. Also I want to notify my bank that if the charge tries to go through to refuse it. What is the name that shows up on your bank statement? most times it isn't just "bender ball". thanks!

Like many of you, I was charged for DVD's I didn't order. When I called I was met with a less than helpful attitude. I filed a complaint w/BBB! Within 2 days some big wig called me and gave a full refund, including shipping! Filing a complaint with BBB is the way to get your money back people!

My issue is the same as most listed. Ordered the item which took forever to arrive. A month later my card was charged $23.00. I called and got the same response."you didn't opt out of our continual shipments." So I canceled. Today, almost 2 months later, I get a charge for $19.99 on my card. I called back only to hear the same message again. I asked why I wasn't notified of this when I canceled or when I ordered it in the first place, and I got a typical customer service "I'm sorry mam" Response. If they charge me anything again. I'm going straight to the BBB and doing a charge back on my card. I would not recommend the item to anyone. The ball SUCKS. Does not hold air, and the workout does not work anymore than regular crunches.

If you're thinking about buying this product, consider yourself warned. If you order this product online, you will automatically be signed up for their auto-ship program. Please note that there is NO where to opt out of this auto-ship program. If you don't want to be a part of the auto-shipment program, you will have to call their customer service line... once to cancel the program and then they make you call back to get a RA number. You are responsisble for all postage costs to return the DVDs - they don't reimburse you for those. If you mail them back, make sure you get the delivery notification or delivery confirmation form at the post office. Otherwise, the company will claim to have never received the DVDs and will give you the run around about issuing your refund. I mailed back my DVDs over a month ago, and not only have I not received a refund yet but I've had to call three times to chase it down... to no avail. They have literally stolen $27 from me. The customer service representatives are not cooperative and all the ones I've dealt with have had very bad attitudes. I have never been disrespected so badly by a customer service agent. Furthermore, if I had to do this again, I honestly wouldn't waste on this product. The ball is a very cheap and it's very hard to inflate... and keep inflated. The DVDs they send for the initial purchase are very low quality. The company went very cheap on the initial stuff... where they get you is with the auto-shipment program. You can go buy a small ball from a kids' toy store and get the same results. It's seriously a joke.

i ordered the bender ball in january, not only did it take over a month to arrive but i too was charged serveral times in addition for products i never recieved. i called their so called customer service and was handled in a way that is very infuriating. the man who answered did not speak clearly and was not willing to refund my credit card charges untill i threatened to call my bank and file reports with all consumer reporting companies i could find. i have not recieved my refund yet but if i do not i will go to my bank. do not order from this company!

I purchased this product as a "ONE TIME ONLY" purchase. They continually charge my card and I when I call, they tell me it's been cancelled but they can't send me an email to confirm however they will send mail with confirmation (which I never receive). I plan to call them Monday to ask for an address so I can bill them for all the fraudulent costs I have incurred to date. Or maybe it's best to go get a lawyer and sue them; I don't know, but it's absolutely ridiculous the consumer has no way to stop these charges.

stay away from bender ball. this is not a company, it is a total sham. like so many others, i thought i was making one purchase. i then started getting sent more and more garbage. even after telling them to take me off any and all automatic shippment lists, i am still getting sent shit, and am still being charged. they have yet to respond to my complaints or give me any refunds. i have been over charged some $150 to date. great business ethics, right?

I have been trying to get a refund from this company for over 30days. After auditing my account I notice a charge $43.97. I called the 1-800 from my statement. I was told that I was being shipped another item to try and should receive in a few days. I express concern I did not want the product and would like a refund. The rep. gave me a return number to place on the box when I received it in the mail. He assured me the refund would take place in 7-10 days. Today, 30-days after my first call. The rep stated I would have the refund 7-10 days from today less the delivery charge. I expressed I did not ask for the 2nd product to be sent to me therefore, I expect 100% refund. I was unable to speak with a manager or the "credit dept." I asked for an address but only received a p.o. box, claiming the company is out of CA.

I made an order over a month ago. After dealing with the high pressure sales pitch on the phone. Which I had to listen to because they had my card #.I read about the complaints and keep track of the status. Well, what I thought was the status. After all the excuses and the supervisor conversations. 3 weeks after my order...it was officially processed. I want to write Mens Journal and all the TV stations that handle their commercials.

Part 2 I called [] to complain and he tells me that legally they have to be given the opportunity to ship the item and for me to return it for a refund. WHAT!?! Even though I made sure that there was no fine print that I was asking for anything else or signing up for more than I ordered. It's worse than those book clubs that pray on those who just want something easy to exercise with. I wanted to use it to travel with. Now I just want to sue the scam artist who is doing this to everyone. (And punching them in the nose would feel good too!) It's hard enough to make a living. I live on a strict budget and saved money to make this purchase. Now I have to worry over every penny in my account in order to wait for a refund in my debit card.

I ordered an item and received it 4 weeks later. Now I have random charges showing up on my credit card. I didn't receive any new items nor did I place an order for any other merchandise. It took me half an hour to get someone on the phone, and now I have to wait for a "credit representative" to call me back for a credit to my visa.

I ordered the Bender Ball over the telephone. I dealt with an automated phone system. I had no idea this was a DVD club and that regular shipments were being made to my address and being charged to my credit card without my knowledge or agreement. When I tried to call the customer service line it was continually busy. In small print on their website is says that this is an ecommerce product and does not handle customer service on it. If you find yourself in ths predicament you can call your credit card company within 30 days to dispute these automated charges. Send the company an email or letter, this just feels like a great BIG scam!!

I ordered bender ball not worth ordering they kept sending me the product each month after I told them to cancel also kept deducting product from my account as to date they owe me close to 50.00

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER!!! They enroll you in a continuing shipment program and place unauthorized charges onto your card. Bad business. Don't waste your time.

I tried to order and they told me it would be shipped out in 2 days tried to track order nothing there called and they told me there was an inventory problem and i was placed on back order called back they told me it ships tomorrow called back now i am on back order again just canceled my order today hopefully they dont charge my card!!!

Same story, but with a slight twist...my daughter received the product..it was worthless. She called and cancelled her subscription after she was sent a workout video. She cancelled her credit card at the time on my advice. They tried to charge her card two more times...then they turned her over to a collection agency for the fraudulent billings!! Even though she disputed the claim, they continue to send harassing letters. These people are shameless.

Ordered the Bender Ball received it no problem. Two months later I was charged $43.97 for an order--some sort of exercise discs (they look like frisbes!) which I DID NOT order--now today--I have just received another charge to my account for $43.97 for something called e-boost (sounds like a energy drink)--again I did not order. SCAM ALERT!!! Calls to this company are fruitless have not been able to reach an actual person. Bank is reversing charges pending an investigation---BUT--I suspect I will untimatly be charged again. SO--I am filing a complaint with the BBB and also going to make inquires with the State Attorney General's Office. This needs to stop and stop NOW!
