Same story, but with a slight twist...my daughter received the product..it was worthless. She called and cancelled her subscription after she was sent a workout video. She cancelled her credit card at the time on my advice. They tried to charge her card two more times...then they turned her over to a collection agency for the fraudulent billings!! Even though she disputed the claim, they continue to send harassing letters. These people are shameless.

Ordered the Bender Ball received it no problem. Two months later I was charged $43.97 for an order--some sort of exercise discs (they look like frisbes!) which I DID NOT order--now today--I have just received another charge to my account for $43.97 for something called e-boost (sounds like a energy drink)--again I did not order. SCAM ALERT!!! Calls to this company are fruitless have not been able to reach an actual person. Bank is reversing charges pending an investigation---BUT--I suspect I will untimatly be charged again. SO--I am filing a complaint with the BBB and also going to make inquires with the State Attorney General's Office. This needs to stop and stop NOW!

If you go ontot he website, it says in really tiny letetrs that you'll be charged just 9.99 for the ball...and then charged 19.99 a month thereafter for workout dvds for like, the next year. i said no way and went onto [], where i how a small soft squishy 'workout ball' with a book, and it truly was a one-time purchase for 12.00.
read the fine print, people!

I ordered the product and have continued to receive "Free Gifts" via UPS with no invoice, no packing slip, nothing except a large card saying "Free Gift". I charged my first purchase online with my credit card. They continue to charge their "Free Gifts" on my card with prices like $48.00 for a frisbee. Very deceptive. I hope someone can not only stop them but make them pay for their pray on the public.

To keep a long story short we ordered the bender ball as a gift. We recieved dvd's in the mail. We called to cancel and asked for a credit. They agreed to credit for the dvd's and for shipping it back. Total credit should have been $34.25. 2 months and 5 phone calls later. We have only received credit for $19.99. They refused to credit the shipping. We stand 14.26 short all on shipping charges that we are still fighting to get. Not because of the amount, but for principle and to make sure that these companies are being affected for their bad business practices.

Orderd this product on 3/19, they have not taken the money from my account and I haven't recieved the product yet. I have tried to call several times and get dead air or on hold for ever, and found out that the website does not work to track your order or contact customer service. After reading these blogs I went ahead and canceled my credit card so they cannot charge me!!

I bought a ball and a DVD and thought this was a 1 time purchase. They have subsequently sent me additional products and charged my credit card without me ever agreeing to buy these products. Now I have to send the garbage back. And their phone service is terrible. No one speaks English and the phone line sounds like its 1920.

About a month after I originally bought the product, this company charged me 47.60 for a product I didnt order and didnt want. So I called right away and they wouldnt give me a refund so I complained and called back a couple of times and finally someone told me I could refuse the package when it was delivered and when it arrived back to them I would receive a full refund. I also at that time was very angry and I told that person I wanted to return the original product due to all the problems they had caused. They gave me a RA number at that time and an address to send it to and they told me I would receive a full refund on that as well. I did exactly what they told me to do and about a month later I received a partial refund for the product I never ordered to begin with, 43.28. I tracked the other package I returned and it was delivered on Feb 7. I never have received a refund for that. We have called numerous times and we always get the run around. Every time we call we are told that the supervisors are in a meeting. This has gone way too far.

Just saw the commercial for the Bender Ball and decided to order one. Calling the 800#, I was tipped off immediately to the possibility that I may NOT want to go ahead and give any personal information out by hearing the recorded 'assistance' instead of a live person. After speaking the number "1" for the amount I wanted to order, there was a pause, as this automated representative was now going to check for my address in their system. Uh........why would you know my address if I have never made any contact with Bender Ball previously? Well, automation then speaks my address as being, "2356 so and so street". Uh.......No, that is not my address. It was repeated again - uh, NO, I never lived at such an address. This was enough to make me realize, NOPE, I'm not giving them my credit card information, goodbye. Do not EVER give out your information to an automated order line unless you want to invite trouble into your accounts and be a victim of ID theft.

I ordered the bender ball and received it without incident. A month later I had a charge on my credit card again from them. When I called to inquire why, they said regular dvd's are shipped every so often. I told them I never agreed to that. I never saw anything on the website stating that was part of the process. They gave me a return number for when I received the next DVDs. When they finally came, I returned them. It has now been three weeks and they have never credited my account. I called them again today and they said they never received them. I told them that my issue with them was that they charged me for something I did not order and now they will not give me the credit. They told me it would take 7 to 10 days. I told them it had been three weeks. I want to turn them in to someone but I do not know who to tell.

I have no complaint about the BenderBall itself. Even though, I rarely use it now; I did feel the effects of it when doing my own routine. My complaint is with the DVDs and customer service. The DVD is way too short and doesn't give much to go on. I knew about the automatic continued shipping and forgot to cancel before they shipped out the first set, but cancelled soon after I realized they had charged my creditcard. I returned it saying Returned for Refund. It has been a month and I have still not received the credit to my card of $43.97 for two DVDs I know that I sent back. When I called no one could give me any information on when I would receive a credit (or if I would receive a credit). There was also no invoice in the package with the two extra DVDs. A suggestion to those who want to try the benderball, don't order from the actual company, check amazon or ebay for the ball, you can make up your own routine.

I ordered the bender ball a month ago. And I did not get charged for it until 03/31/2008. I order one kit with the dvd for 12.98 plus shipping of 7.93. Which totals 20.91. My credit card was charged 44.81. I called the 800# and was told that I ordered two DVDs which is a lie! I told them to cancel one of the dvd orders and he told me he could not b/c it was being processed. Then I told him to cancel the whole order and he told me he could not do that either. My only option at this time is to wait until the order comes and then send it back and lose out on the shipping and handling. I will be calling Bank of America today and reporting an unauthorize charges and contacting the BBB.

I ordered this product back in Jan, it took over 5 weeks to arrive so because of it's late arrival I made a replacement order thinking the first order got lost in the post, they then deducted more money from my debit card. Apparently I took up the continuity plan which I don't recall doing spoke to them about this which I was then made to believed it was cancelled, where now at the end of March and they have taken so far a total of $157 and for what I don't know when it should of been only $9.99 + shippping and handling. There email for customer service does not seem to work, I live in the UK which then cost me a lot of money to keep calling California to sort out this problem I have with Bender Ball. I'm fed up with this s**t and I want my money back. NEVER AGAIN!!

182 complaints so far? I'm sorry I didn't check this out before I ordered. I have written so many times, NO reply. I found their infomercial "customer service number, it didn't work. I went to the online customer service mentioned on the infomercial, you type out your story and then the submit button does not work. You can not contact these people! They did NOT tell me that I would continue to be charged for products or sent products! I can't get them to stop! I wonder if Mastercard can.

Orderd the Bender Ball March 5th. They never took out the money from one of my cards that I used. I called them today to see what was going on, got someone who did not speak english at all, and said that the order was on back order. I told him that if i have not been charged yet that I want to cancel, he started to say that i would get 5 dollars off my order i kept telling him that i just want to cancel and then i hung up on him. So dont buy it at all.

I ordered the product in February. My credit card was charged. I never received the product. Then, my card was charged again. I've called customer service three times. I believe it is a scam. In addition, the web page where you can email customer service does not work. I will be cancelling this order tomorrow and report them to the BBB

I ordered this ball also being told that it was indeed in stock and even paid the priority processing fee. However, after placing the order yesterday I went on line to find some reviews for the product and lo and behold there were alot of people who had not received theirs. So becasue my item is now out of stock and has not been processed and been charged to my account already I told them to cancel it because it was supposed to be in stck. They said there is high demand for these and that they woudl be in stock in the beginning of april and would send it through priority processing. But that is not priority proessing if I paid to have it shipped within 24 hours of my order being placed. So I told them to cancel it and asked for a confirmaiton number on the cancellation which I did get. I am gonna look on [] to see if there is one on there. I have heard they work. I have an ab lounge i will keep using if not...but i loved using the medicine balls etc. Here's to hoping i have no further trouble. so cancel and make sure you get a confirmation number.

I went on line to order one Bender Ball at the advertised price of $9.99 but was charged $12.99 plus shipping. After completing the order and placing it, my receipt came back as having ordered 2 balls. I wrote an email to the company telling them that I had NOT ordered 2; that I had been sure to click on "NO" when asked if I wanted anything extra; and would appreciate it if they would correct the order and 2 weeks later I received 3 Bender Balls.

Benderball has messed with the Wrong women. I ordered the ball on-line after seeing the commercial & looking over the site. At the end of my order for benderball I was directed to their partner links. I have no problem with signing up for partner sites and have done so in the past; I read over the small print & did not give benderball's partner-sites my credit card information. I left my profile created, by me, without my credit card information.
After receiving my bender ball order (that came from California & took 4 weeks to be delivered???). My debit card was mysteriously charged over $100.00 dollars for products that I did not order from benderballs partner-site's, causing my bank account to have over $200.00 dollars in over charges. Though benderball's partner-sites have refuded a portion of the money that they took out of my account without my authorization, bendrball has not yet responded to my 4 attempts to get this issue resolved. My credit card number didn't fall out of the sky & into the hands of benderballs partnering-site's that I signed up with. My last conversation with benderball had me transfered to the 'department of consumer affairs', where Monica @ West Corporations could not help me & directed me back to bender ball. Benderball then told me it would be up to 2 weeks before I hear a response. I feel Extremely Disrespected & Outraged because benderball is Illegally giving out my credit card information without my authorization & I will not rest till this issue is Resolved. The product isn't that good either 4 all that trouble; I would advise Any One Considering This Product to save yourself any headaches & purchase a ball from a kid store! Thats what I thought of intially & planned on doing. Then I said "It's only $9.99". Or so I thought?? Never again!!

well, my daughter really wanted this product so I called the info mmercial number to order after giving them my debit number( which I never do) I endured the requests for everything else after listening to about 5 of these I hung up figuring that it would stop anything. I called right back to talk to a person to tell them all I wanted was the 999 deal and was told that my account didnt exist and that I should call the next day to see if the account was there so they could fix it. called the next day and was told I wasnt in there. to call the next day well, the next morning I get a call from fed ex trying to deliver my bender ball but the name was right and the address was all wrong. So I went to my banking and seen that bender ball charged my accoun 90.00! Well im out of work due to surgery and was very mad call the company got a person who could hardly speak english who told me all I could do is return the package at my cost and wait to be credited. I asked to speak to their boss named Margo who said that all that happened to me was being emaild to her boss the only person who could credit anything and I should hear from them in 24 hours well needless to say I did not so I called back was told it would be 24-48 hours to hear back and had to repeat the whole story again. Then I got on the computer and found all these complaints I never heard it was a video program either so I will have to cancel my debit card. How is this Legal what do we do.
