I need to sound off as well about the Bit Shooter sales department. I ordered mine along with the drill from their website in MORE than enough time for Christmas. This was AFTER seeing it on television and they were ADVERSTISITNG it as a Christmas present. So I placed my order THAT night. After not receiving anything for two weeks, I call them and am informed that it will ship today (12/16) and it takes 7 - 10 business days to receive it. There's NO WAY I'll get it before Christmas at this point. They also can't refund my money until I actually receive it "since [they] are already shipping it today". That's BS as well and they know it. How dare they advertise that it makes a great Christmas present when they have no intention of delivering it before Christmas?

Like other posters, I ordered the Bit Shooter off of the Internet and the order is automatically submitted without a confirmation. I didn't want to pay the $16 shipping for the "free drill" so I immediately called the service number and cancelled my order. The order shipped anyway and now I'm having a tough time getting them to pick up the shipment so that they'll refund my money AFTER they get the BS back.

ok the number for CUSTOMER SERVICE is.... 262-796-2002. i called on my cell phone and the number was from a few days ago, so i lost the number, but then it was in my boyfriends phone.. so customer service number is up there. i thought i ordered the $20 bit shooter thing, and at the end of the call i was told it charged $58 to my account. so i called and it said my order wont be in the computer for 22-48 hours so i called back just a few minutes ago, and i didnt wait on hold very long at all.. the first time it was a very long time. but so i cancelled the order and everything is all good. i would not reccommend infomercials even though they seem awesome

I ordered 2 bit shooters that had a rechargable drill with each one. I received both bit shooters but received 1 drill. When I contacted the customer service line I was told there would be another 9.95 shipping for the other drill. When I explained I talked with customer service, why it was taking so long, their response was I ordered the extra bits and they were on back order. I cancelled the extra bits so the bit shooter would arrive before Christmas. It was ordered in the middle of Oct. I then asked if the drill came with both shooters, they said yes. There was no mention of an shipping charge. When I spoke with customer service, they said they didn't believe that I was told that,I finally hung up!!!

I ordered Bit Shooter a month ago. Called after it hadn't arrived within two weeks. They said it would be shipped within 7 to 10 days. I waited two more weeks... still no Bit Shooter. Also ordered the "free drill" with it. Going to try contacting them again but not expecting a good result judging by other comments. Wanted this as a christmas gift for a family member. Decided since it probably won't get here by xmas, (if at all) to look in hardware stores and guess what? [] had a huge display of them at 19.95 but was on sale for 14.89 (comes with the three extra bit sets but no drill) and I could always return it if the other one miraculously shows up. So check your local [] if you are stuck for that xmas gift like me!

Late November my boyfriend and I were watching TV and the Bit Shooter Infomercial made it's way into my living room. We both were surprised at what you could get for $19.95 and decided to call right away. On December 1st almost $160.00 was deducted from my account for two sets, and add-ons. In the meanwhile, I had misplaced the scribbled paper that had their #800 on it so we've been "patiently" waiting for the box to arrive. It is now December 14th. Now, after deciding to find them online...I find SCAM instead! Not sure what I'll do, probably close my account because they may still have my CC # and try to take out another $160.00! If they're theifs...they're theifs. I too found the website with the P.O. Box and phone #, so I'll try to contact them tomorrow.

My name just got added to the list with other scammed infomercial customers! I recently ordered the Bitshooter after watching the infomercial. I wanted to read more and take my time so I visited the website instead of calling the order in. Thinking this would be the perfect gift for my husband I decided to order one. The Bit Shooter Driver, according to the infomercial AND the internet ad, was to come with a "free" power drill, 4 speed loader cylinders and 24 tool bits for $19.95. I ordered a total of 3 sets. The box finally arrived December 9 and I quickly opened it expecting to find the three drivers, 12 cylinders with 72 bits and 3 drills. The box was small and only contained 3 Bit Shooters with ONE extra cylinder for each driver. I figured a second box was enroute immediately called Customer Service to check on it -- only to be told THERE WAS NO SECOND BOX!! I quickly looked at my credit card bill and noticed I was also charged full price for the additional two sets that I had ordered. The Customer Service representative told me that if I had only ordered ONE to start with on the site it would have given me the option to get the other two units at the price of $14.95 each instead of the regular price. I told her the site should have done the calculations itself on the two additional sets so that I would have gotten the discount rate on them and that I wanted the $18 difference refunded! She put me on hold to speak with her Supervisor then returned to the line to inform me she could only credit $10.00 back to my credit card since I didn't order them correctly on the site!! That was an immediate $8.00 in someone's pocket. I inquired why there wasn't a second box containing the balance of my order to which she replied " You didn't order any upgrades to receive the extra cylinders and if you want the free drills you will need to pay $9.95 S&H for each one to have them delivered to you." I told her "free" meant exactly that..FREE with no charges!! I informed her I had already paid $26.85 for shipping PLUS the $8.00 they were not refunding me for a total of $34.85 and that was more than enough for them to have shipped everything. She stated I would not receive the free drills unless I was willing to pay to have them shipped. I am tempted to send the order back but read one of the other posts in which the person stated they hadn't gotten their money back. I refuse to "donate" the whole $86.70 to them!

Ok, I too brought this product after seeing the ad while in-flight. So, I got the item- no problem there except instead of 4 speed loader cylinders (as advertised), I only got 3! Go figure. But I see that it is more waste of time (and money) if I call in. So, to not be more of an idiot, I will call it quit.

Ordered one set of bitshooter with free drill on Nov 23rd. Later deciding that $18.90 for S&H was too much so emailed the address on my confirmation email (customerservice@southerntools.com) four different times to cancel order and not charge me but each email came back stating UNDELIVERABLE so we know their email address is BOGUS, now on Nov 30th, I wrote a nice letter to Bit Shooter PO Box 356 Deerfield Bch,Fl 33442 requesting a cancellation of my order and to credit my account and inform me by email that they received my letter and my account has been credited. To date NO reply from anyone, no credit as of yet, no product, I think I just threw away $38.95 bad thing is they still have my card #.

Here is what wrote to the Florida BBB. My 72 year old parents paid for TWO of their drill sets and accessories for gifts after seeing a TV ad. As my mother completed the transaction over the phone, the company inflated the price by claiming the "special TV price" was no longer valid and talked her into several accessories that she didn't need. To compound my disgust, the company never delivered as ordered. After waiting almost a month, my father called to inquire on the delivery date and was told there was no such order. He was told a supervisor was to call him back to settle the dispute. That return call was never made. The next day, my father called back and verified to them that his credit card had been charged and ask them to overnight the order to make up for their mistake. The company refused. Interestingly, between our first inquiry to the first phone center operator and the last conversation we had, the company claims to have found the order and said it was shipped on December 4th, a Sunday? I don't think UPS/USPS/FEDEX picks up on a Sunday. During the phone conversation with the Phone Center Supervisor, my father asked where the company was, and they said Milwaukee, WI. This is much different than their BBB address of Florida. This company is praying on our older population and taking advantage of those who do not understand our modern age. Please investigate to stop this bussiness and its predatory practices.

I ordered the Bit Shooter on November 14th, 2005 with "guaranteed shipping" in 48 hours. It is now Dec. 7th and still no sign of it in our mail. I've called several times asking about the shipment...first they told me it was shipped on November 21st. Now they're telling me it was shipped November 30th and should take 7-10 working days to recieve it. I asked for the trcking # for USPS so I can track the shipment myself. Guess what? It doesn't work either. Aargh!!! Never again will I order from an infomercial.

Boy do I feel dumb. I ordered the bit shooter, upgraded the drill, ordered a second one upgraded that drill. Got the two bit shooters and one drill in one shipment. One bit shooter has a case the other doesn't. The drill seems to be a decent one but still haven't gotten the second drill. We should all be ashamed of ourselves. I remember my mom telling me that "everyone out there is going to try to get your money, so be careful."

I as well ordered the Bit Shooter w/ the drill as a gift and here we are, 1 month later with no bit shooter. I was just on hold with the number on the website for about 30 min. the hung up. I'm sure I could have found a better place to throw my $40 away. From what the website has, Bit Shooter is distributed by Southern Tools in Deerfield Beach, FL. I cannot find this company anywhere on the net. Good luck guys.

Approximately six weeks after ordering it, I finally received the Bit Shooter. Everything appears to be in order and in tact. It arrived with the free $10 drill, the extra bits and cartridges as ordered and advertised and the useless warranty for which I paid an extra $10. Since it is a gift I did not open the Bit Shooter to take it out and use so it remains to be seen if looks are deceiving. More complaints to this site from me will certainly be forthcoming if it turns out to be junk. I know already that, good product or not, it was not worth the hassles or delays.

Received my bit shooter today (4 weeks after order) and was upset. I ordered 5 bit shooters at what I thought was 19.95 each, with a free drill for each bit shooter ordered as per infomertial. What I got was 4 bitshooters one at 14.95, one drill at 14.95, 4 master shooters at 34.90 each and a box of drill bits and case at 14.95. Shipping and handling was 80.00 to Utah. Total bill 264.85!!!!! What a scam. Any one ordering should be aware. This is really poor.

I ordered the Bit shooter on November 6, 2005. They charged my account on November 9, 2005. On November 28th I called to find out where it was. Was told that they did not even know if it had been processed to give it another week and call back. At my expense of course. So I called back in 3 days to be told they had shipped on November 18th from California. Since I live in Arizona I informed the customer service operator - after holding 30 minutes to even speak to her - that it does not take 14 days to ship from California to Arizona. She told me to wait one more day and if I don't get it to call back! What a crock. I hope someone puts this business out of business. I should have done my research before ordering this product.

I went to the Bit Shooter website to see how much the shipping and handling charges would cost. In order to get to the screen that contained the shipping and handling charges you had to fill in the blanks with your name, address, and credit card number. Like a fool I filled in all the blanks including my credit card number. After submitting all my information I got to the next screen that showed the charges for shipping and handling. I thought it was too much so I just closed the browser screen thinking that I didn't complete the transaction by clicking on anything that said YES send me the Bit Shooter. After several days I noticed a $28.90 charge on my credit card. I should have called VISA and disputed the unauthorized charge to my account. I thought "Oh well, I guess I bought the Bit Shooter. I may as well see if I like it". When I finally received the Bit Shooter and saw what a piece of crap it was and I really felt ripped off. I wanted to return the Bit Shooter right away so I called the number on thier invoice which was a toll call to New Berlin, wisconsin. I was on hold which seemed like forever and finally got to speak to a customer service representative. After giving my reason why I was returning the Bit Shooter being that I thought that the Bit Shooter was a very poor quality tool I was instructed to put a return authorization number on the outside of the shipping carton and return it to the Wisconsin address. I returned the Bit Shooter and now four weeks later I still haven't received a refund. Now they have my money and thier tool! I wrote a letter to them today requesting them to PLEASE send me my money. I think that buisnesses like this should be shut down for thier unethical operation. I'm going to go to the FTC and BBB if I don't get my money back soon.
