Maybe if we would not only care about oneself all of the time the World would be a better place. I just finished viewing the complaints and the compliments in regards to core rhythms. Yes, they attempted to sell me a kitchen sink when I attempted to make my order and my credit card has been charged for sixty-nine dollars and change. I have not received the product yet to give you my opinion about the quality but I did cancel my credit card to prevent any possible future charges.

I tried to order the 8 DVD set by calling to order but I was trapped in an endless voice recognition loop. And it described only 4 discs--not the 8 promised on the commercial.
when i called back it recognized I had hung up and put me into a new loop and offered me a free workout DVD. No thanks.
I don't trust anything that doesn't give access to humans.

I saw the infomercial one time on television and immediately knew I wanted Core Rhythms. As most of you I called and could not get a person to speak with which made me very nervous. I then found and read many of the complaints & called customer service to get their slant on things. They of course assured me that I would have no problems with my order. I requested to place my order thru customer service and the woman said no problem. I was assured my total billing would be $69.80 and absolutely no more. I then had a total of $74.80 billed to my account. This is not a big difference but a lie none the less. I chose to let it slide as I just wanted to receive my DVD's which I just picked up today. Well guess what? The joke is on me. Out of 7 DVD's not one of them plays beyond 30 seconds. Each and every one of them shows a 16 to 30 second intro and every time you hit the play or forward button it just simply goes back to the beginning again. I put three other movies, (dvd's) in my player and they ran with no problems. I will be contacting customer service tomorrow 9-16-08 and I will inform all as to the outcome.

I tried to order Core Rhythms after viewing the infomercial, which offered extra tapes and free shipping. After calling the number I was contacted to an automated system which offered me an entirely different payment plan, no free shipping, fewer dvds and no option to speak to a human operator and worse, once making the call I had no way to say I was no longer interested, and they had my credit card number. The next day (as the call was made after usual business hours no doubt they run those infomercials that way intentionally) I sent threatening emails to the company and was finally, days later, contacted by a woman who basically called me a liar and said she had viewed the infomercial literally hundreds of times and then went on to try to hard sell me the system again! The sad thing is, I really want the system, but whoever is doing their infomercial and marketing is losing them customers! Those stars have their good names attached to this product and I cannot believe they would allow this kind of false advertising to go on. I am an intelligent person. I have an IQ of 148, I'm a professional Registered Nurse, and attention to detail is crucial to my job. I know the differece between a sure thing and a maybe, and I am not fooled by trick words in advertisements. These ads are false advertising, pure and simple, and the company responsible should be fined and put out of business. This all happened months ago, months during which I could have been enjoying better fitness and improved cardio-vascular health. I feel violated and robbed and I hope more people come forward to testify against this sleazy marketing.

I tried to order Core Rhythms on 8/23/08. After the 25 minutes on the phone line with an automated operator trying to sell me all sorts of items I did not want, I tried to get to the end of it by pushing 0 repeatedly. The automation continued incessently. I finally hung up disgusted and disgruntled. Today I pulled up this website and was appauled to find out that all of you have had similar problems. I called and cancelled my credit card immediately. Thank you all for posting your comments and for saving me from nightmares unspeakable!!!

I saw the advertisement for Core Rhythms on T.V. and like most of you I was very excited and interested. After the 30 minute process to provide billing and address information, accept or deny 15 other possible DVD's, dental plans and various "free" trial gas and travel coupons, I was frustrated and furious hoping to speak with a representative to cancel my purchase secondary to all the HASSLE! I never got connected to a representative. The only way to move forward on the phone was to answer questions for yet another advertisement. I remained on the phone offering no response hoping it would forward me to a representative. After listening to the automated speaker repeat herself more than 20 times, I finally answered the stupid question which automatically added another purchase to my account. I finally hung up the phone, obtained the customer service number and Canceled my debit card immediately! I will call customer service Monday. My bank said there was no possible way to bill my account because they have not posted the charge and now that account number is not valid! HA! HA! After reading all the complaints, I am so glad I canceled my debit card despite the headache to wait for a new one. I took out enough cash to get me by and I will obtain a temporary card first thing Monday. Good Luck. I hope this helps someone!

I have core rythms. I first checked out reviews before I purchased it. It seemed that the main complaint was about the customer service and not the product itself. I decided to go on ebay. I bought the videos from ebay for little to no money. I am happy with the video. So before you attempt to purchase from the site and subject your self to awful customer service try Ebay.

May 7,2008, I seen the advertising on TV about Core Rhythms and was going to order it. Something just told me to check it out on the web first. WOW I am sure glad I did. Thanks so much for letting me know just how terrible this company is.I am so thankful to you all from keeping me from being took advantage of and so sorry that all of you have had to deal with such scams as these. It's so sad that this company still continues to get away with this. Thanks again for keeping me from making the same mistake.

I ordered Core Rhythms at the end of February over the phone & by the time I was done with the 25 minute phone call I was ready to talk to a live person to cancel my order b/c of all the other items they were asking me to buy. I clearly put in all of my information & if any of you've ordered it, it won't let you go on without verifying all of it. Well, it shipped out to arrive on 3/5 and I called them and they didn't have me in the system, they then found me and had my zip code wrong so it went to the wrong city and zip code so would be returned to them. They also went ahead and charged my account which I clearly remember stating I wanted the free 30 days and to be charged at the end but thats neither here nor there at this point. Its 3/13 and I still don't have the product which the city it got sent to is the town over from me which I guess it would have to get sent back to Core Rhythms?? They have my correct City, State and zip now & of course they said I gave them the wrong information!! After reading some of this I am skeptical I will ever get this product but it hasn't been that long so I am still a little hopeful on this. But better guarantee that if I don't receive it, they WILL refund my money and they will let me listen to my order because they must keep records of those somewhere. I will call whomever I need to, I will contact the creators Julia Powers and Jaana Kunitz. Good luck to all others. I did also make certain with them that they are not taking any other funds out and that I only signed up for the ONE time $49.90 and thats it!

I saw the commercial for this product and thought it would be an interesting way to get back into shape. I went on the website and in order to enter the site you have to enter your name, address, etc. I was skeptical of this but since I was interested in the product I continued. Once on the site it gives you two options - one time purchase or the club price. Before making a decision I logged off the site to think about it. I'm on a very tight budget so therefore decided to take the one time purchase option. I re-entered the site and chose the option. Before the order confirmed I was asked if I would be interested in the Hoodia product. I selected NO and was knocked out of the order screen. Did it go through? Do I have to go through the process again and risk ordering it twice? I waited to see if a confirmation email was received. I didn't receive an email but my bank account was hit for the purchase price. I received the product and I Love it. It Works but I'm not a happy customer because I just received another hit on my bank account for the next DVD - I didn't order the club - I called the company and was told by Todd G. that I had indeed signed up for the club and that the packing slip received with the original shipment explained this in detail. Umm, no, there was no packing slip and since I ordered the one-time item I didn't question the lack of one. I demanded to talk to someone to cancel this immediately and was forwarded to John who basically told me too bad. I can send the DVD back but I have to eat all the shipping charges and they will not credit my account until they receive the DVD back and I have to use an RMA number to return it.
I am furious! There was no notice that this was shipping out; they charged my account without permission. I again demanded to talk to someone who can straighten this out. John said he'd forward it to upper management and that someone will be getting back to me. As I'm reading all the other complaints I have a feeling that my chances are slim.

I ordered this program back on 11/07 charged to my credit card and received on 12/07 (a Month later). After reviewing the DVD's and realizing they were not very user friendly (and I have been an operator/owner of gyms) I returned via Fedex. They received and signed for this package and as of this date 3/6/08 I have not seen a credit to my account. I have contacted the BBB and my financial institution for a dispute and credit back to my account. A Note to All: When returning any product ordered by mail send back so that the vendor has to sign for it as your financial institution will readily credit your account if you have this document. It costs a bit, but is well worth it. Hope this helps someone else.

HUGE SCAMMERS THAT MUST BE STOPPED! I am furious while reading all of your complaints and I am sorry to say but it only gets WORSE! I NEVER even ordered these videos and they were shipped to my home and my credit card was used. I was furious because I heard from a friend that this happened to her when she ordered one. I mean I never called them, went on their site or saw any of these infomercials. I know nothing about them. My husband and I are in our 50s and I am pretty sure this isnt our thing. I am persuing every single angle I can on this including a lawyer because how they got this info is beyond me. I have alot more details but cant reveal them at this point for legal reasons but I assure you I will be back on here letting you know what happened and how you ALL can play a part in shutting these scammers down!!!! You ALL need to contact the Better Business Bearue and file a complaint about these scammers and thieves. One person cant do it alone. I dont work so I will be devoting 8 hours a day on this until it is taken care of. Thank God we have sites like this to go to. I did contact the company and like everyone else I was on hold for 25 minutes because of the "high call volume for ordering their videos" HA HA HA the lines are full because of their videos alright, but it isnt because people are ordering them! I will be back with more information but if ONE person sees this and it stops them from getting taken then I can sleep tonight.....I have no clue how these people can sleep at night.
"whatever you did today, you'll have to sleep with tonight"

I have ordered the 3 dvd, basic and the abs/other. I DID NOT buy the subscription but after trying the basic and realizing the "teaching" was not at all clear even with the help area I decided that I wasn't even going to try the other two. I have returned over 3 weeks ago, with a return number, the other 2 dvd and have yet to see my refund. I have e-mailed customer service *again* and will let everyone know if I ever get an answer or even better, my refund. Don't buy these unless you have dance experience. They do 1 slow version then "party time!" (their term) party time is a very fast pace of which you are expected to have learnt the step the first time. Don't even get me started on the teachers...
