Purchased core secrets via infomercial. Started receiving vitamins and other products that I specifically REFUSED during my order. They did however, refund the charges and immediately stop shipment. Then a year later, I purchased the Core Secrets head to toe in 30 minutes ball and dvd. When I went to use it, the DVD was broken in half in the case. I called to have it replaced. They say it is no longer available. Although, I always see their infomercials on tv. What the?

Last year I purchased Core Secrets which I promptly received with no billing problems. However, I have had problems in the past with a couple of online orders which were scams.
As I always use my credit card for this type of purchase, I contacted my back, having to submit a complaint. It wasn't long before the charges were deposited into my bank account. I have heard no more from those promoters.
Most of the time I have had no problems with online ordering but I always keep any email communication and bank receipts - just in case.
If you have been burned by any of these scams, I suggest you contact your bank immediately with all the documentation you can come up with. Good luck!

I ordered Core Secrets on the internet with a generated email bouncing back saying it would take 14 days for shipping and handling.
5weeks later and i still havnt received it, so i called them up and low and behold they dont stock the product anymore. No email to tell me this, rude customer service operators and no product!!

I telephoned this company before buying the product to ask about these posts and all your complaints only to be spoken to by a rude northerner that told me she was just there to take an order and wasn't going to answer any questions. If it was me working there I'm sure if the company was reliable I'd at least try and make a new customer feel at ease. Sounds very unprofessional to me.

I am in the same situation as Cassie. I got my ball last month. However, i have received this months statement and they have taken £24.85p, i didnt consent to this. I just wanted the basic package, she did ask me whether i wanted to extra dvds products etc..... and i said no. My advice is please do not place an order with this company. Very dodgy...all professional and helpful over the phone...dont trust them. If anyone has a telephone number then please post it on here.

The story is the same as others I have read this AM. I ordered the initial product and have enjoyed it! However, never did I receive any other literature to allow me to cancel ongoing deductions from my checking account I wrote via email. No response.

I have not had the problems with the cancelations. But my problems is with customer service vie on-line. I had a part break and I'm trying to get it replaced. They keep asking for my account number, but I don't have it anymore. The customer service people don't care about us consumers. I basically told them in my last e-mail that I would not buy anything again the Guthey Renker Corporation.

Just like all the other stories I have read on this site, I also have continued to be billed for the DVD club that I DID NOT sign up for originally. I called the company 2 months ago to cancel the subscription and was assured that it would be stopped. Then this morning as I'm checking my account information I see that new charge has occured today from Core Secrets that I DID NOT authorize. I will be contacting the BBB and our states attorney general's office about this company!!!

My story is just like every other listed here. I oreded this "Great Deal" the workout ball and dvd for 10 or 15 dollars. Said NO to the 15 minutes worth of offers they try and sell you and then find out that I will be automatically enrolled in the club to receive a new dvd every month. I call back and cancell the membership for future dvds the next day. Here I am a month later with a $47.85 charge to my bank account. I Can't even find a working number for the company online! I called my bank to stop any future charges that they WILL try and make. I also left a complaint on [].

I ordered this via an info-mercial. After the 60 day trial, I called to cancel but the cancellation "never went through." I have continued to receive the DVD's and get charged for them (without my permission). I finally spoke with a customer support person who indicated that if I snet these back (unopened - of course), I would NOT get any credit for them. What a scam!!! Now I am out hundreds of dollars and sincerely doubt the subscription will stop even though I've asked repeatedly to that effect.

Wow! I wish I had seen this site before I ordered the dvd and ball. I, too, keep getting charged for dvds I do not want and did not agree too or order. After the second one appeared I wrote them to cancel, b/c I didn't know I had ever agreed to any sort of dvd club type thing. I have just been charged on my credit card again this month for yet another dvd. I have disputed the charge on my cc and am awaiting thier answer. I have tried to get through to the Core Secrets phone number but can never even get a human, only the hold message! This is the first and last time I ever order anything from an infomercial. Ugh! How disappointing and disgusting. Dreadful!!!

I called to order this product this morning with much of the same "selling" techniques described in all of the previous complaints. After telling the operator to cancel my order, that I decided I did not want to order, she hung up on me. Of course after already having all of my CC info.... I called my bank right away and cancelled my CC. I suggest you do the same!!! I will be reporting this to the BBB as well, along with anyone else that can help stop this "Scam"!!

I purchased Core Secrets ball and DVD after watching an infomercial. I had never ordered from an infomercial. The representative tried to sell me everything on earth and I said no. I received the ordered product and then began receiving other DVD's, and they charged my credit card. I called and said I didn't want anymore of their product and please cancel any future product. In Aug.2006 the product stopped coming and all charges stopped. In Feb.2007 I noticed a charge on my account from Core Secrets. I contacted them by phone thinking this must have been some honest mistake. The rep informed me that they told me they would start sending more product in Feb.2007. I told her no way - I had cancelled this. She said she had a note in her system saying that they notified me of this and I would have to call back to cancel again. No! No! I asked to speak with a supervisor, she said that it would take too long and many other excuses, I said I would wait. She put me on hold then disconnected me. I have been charged, and have not received any product. I have contacted bank and they informed me that they can put through a dispute, but I don't know what the outcome will be. I was foolish to order something by phone and trust someone with my CC number. Ironically, I run an online business that people give me their CC number to purchase product, and I would never do such a thing. Once the product is sent and the charge is gone through, the CC# is destroyed. Do NOT trust this Core Secrets Comany!!!

I have same problem like everyone else. Got ripped off w/ the specials that I never agreed to in the first place. I have no problem w/ the product but I do have problem w/ charges made to my CC w/o my knowledge. I called and asked why I was being charged they said that I had agreed to their membership to receive DVD every month. BS, I told them I didn't, anyway make long story short. I told them I want it cancelled which did happen but while I was cancelling it she kept on asking if I was sure. YES I WAS, being charge 45 for a DVD that shows you the same moves as the one that came w/ the ball. The customer service rep was nice but stupid. Still trying to convince me to buy other of their products. Only if I knew about this website. Now before I placed an order for anything. I check this place first. Thanks guys U R AWESOME!!!!

I bought the core secrets product a while ago after seeing thier infomercial on TV. I never buy from infomercials usually, but I do know that Stability ball training does work very well. I am on a hockey team and we do work all the time on stability balls working on our core muscels. I have been looking around for a ball that i could have at home and some excersise videos to go along with it. Then I saw core secrets on my TV and it seemed like just the thing i was looking for. The introductory offer seemed too good to be true, so naturally (being the good consumer i always am) i looked into it with more details. I found that they will bill you every month and send you dvds until you cancel. So, my plan was simple. I would order the initial fitness set and then, before i hang up the phone i would tell them to cancel any future purchases or shipments. I did so, and i was told that it will be canceled. Weeks later i eventually got the fitness set. I checked my CC bill and noticed that they charged me an outragous shipping and handeling fee. (i have seen overnight shipping for cheaper). I figured that it was to be expected and that even with the huge s+h fee, i still got a good deal, so i didn't call them again. I have no complaints with the product except that a month later i get a box on my doorstep from them. I didn't even bother opening it. I checked my CC and found that i was charged over $50! I called them immediently to complain and they told me that they had no record of my canceled account. I shipped back the movie, but they only refunded my $40.00 plus i had to pay to ship the video back to them.

Recently I signed up to receive an exercise ball and video from Core Secrets. The agreement was that I would receive additonal monthly videos for $19.95 and could cancel at any time. The first video arrived and I was charged $46.85 instead of the $19.95! I called the Core Secret 800 number and asked what had happened. The representative explained that this particular video is a longer and more involved video, and that it costs more. The subsequent videos will be the $19.95. I argued that I had never agreed to this price and she explained that I could ship this video back. I feel like they misrepresented the situation and actually lied to me. I dispute this charge with my credit card company.
