I must say I love the Dermacia Makeup and products, I have always suffered from acne my whole life, and I tried Dermacia only to cover my problem and instead foudn that it cured it, the only problem is they send you too much product. I am still using my first toner and cleanser, but I cannot return the other 4 bottles I have, as they come with the kit. I would also like to order as needed at a resonable rate instead of getting wholekits and wasting product. I would say that dermacia is not a scam as it clearly works wonders, just the distribution is off.

I ordered the Cindy Crawford starter kit. I have extremly dry skin and the product just did not moisturize enough for dry skin. One size does not fit all, meaning they should let you know up front. It was an ok product but did not do the job. As a result it cost me time and money to send the product back.

Dermacia is the worst make up ever! Please do not waste your money. It is very thick and impossible to match the color to your skin tone. It does not improve your skin if you are suffering form acne, infect it becomes more oily throughout the day then any other make up that I have used in the past. Also, I return the product last week and I was still charged $49.99. I called the customer service and they gave me the same old story as they do to everyone else. I am so frustrated! Thank God, I sent the product back requiring a signature confirmation. Again please don't waste your money! Aida

The Dermacia product was sent to me unsolicited; I am a male that does not suffer with skin problems at age 56!!! The product was returned as not ordered and Chase Visa was notified of the fraudulent charge. Chase Visa was most helpful and has fully credited the bogus amount ($9.95), but [] just continues to resubmit the amount over and over again. Chase closed the account and reissued my card with a new number… problem solved, so I thought – not so fast they are still pulling the same old stunt. This unauthorized and fraudulent charge to my credit card is a charge they had no right to make… how did they get my card number? Interestingly, they cannot produce any signature or proof that I did in fact place an order, and they are continuing to harass me. Dermacia’s latest trick is to turn me over to a collections company, probably their own. It’s a relatively small amount, but it is the principle of the matter that angers me. Dealing with my bank, Dermacia and now a collections company is no fun!!! Don’t call Dermacia’s customer service department because all you get is the run-around. Luckily my wife is a registered “[] Visa” (ISO Independent sales office) and she knows how to fight this illegal activity. Not realizing that [] Bank had closed the account, the “grifters” at Dermacia recently issued a new charge for $99, luckily [] had closed the account some time ago and that was flagged as fraudulent also. The collections agency continues to harass me. Do not buy from these people, and be sure to read the other similar warnings on www.infomercialscams.com. Take a minute to help others by dropping a complaint letter to Consumer Protections division of your local Attorney General’s office also. Don’t let these disgusting people get away with robbing people. Report them Please.

My husband and I were credit card theft victims. Dermacia was one of our fraudulent charges. We returned the product via RETURN TO SENDER as instructed by the company. Now two months later, Dermacia is saying they still have not received the pkg we sent back to them, and they're sending a collection agency after us because our credit card was declined and they can't charge us. Even though we canceled our account, they say we have an "outstanding balance." (Of course because we're id theft victims, we canceled the c.c. account.) I also tried to talk to a supervisor and apparently one doesn't exist at their customer call center. Yeah, right! Also, the billing statement from the collection agency says they tried to contact us multiple times? Liars. I wish a consumer reporter checks out whether they're really not receiving any of these packages. If this company tries to put a blemish on my husband's credit history, I will gladly bring them to court for any money resulting in a higher interest loan. BIG TIP if you're risky enough to deal with this company: BUY postage when sending packages back to the company. They will lie and say they never got it.

Worst make-up ever. I was using the Bare Essecentuals and I decided to try this. It was extremely expensive and looked horrible! The worst part about it was I started breaking out horribly! I got charged for it anyway because I didn't really understand their return system. So, I'm still using this product because the free trial ended up costing me over $100!

I signed up for a 30-day trial of Dermacia on July 14th 2007, got it after a week or so, then tried it, didn't like the product as it made my skin reddish and itchy, plus the make-up didn't look good on my skin. Cancelled it on Aug.2, sent the product the next day. Then on Sept. 27, I was surprised to receive a bill from them for $99.98 saying that my account is past due and my outstanding balance is under review for collection activity. Duh!!! I cancelled my account already. I immediately called them and the representative that I talked to said that they will not forward my account to a collection agency and will further investigate. That was October 22. Recently I received another bill dated October 27 (Final Audit Notice). I called them again and I told the representative about the problem. She said they can't do anything about it unless I have proof that I sent the product. She didn't even ask my name or anything. It was very frustrating even when I asked for the supervisor. Just like the rep, He didnt even ask for my name and try to look at their record to see what I am talking about. He just kept on saying that they can't do anything about it until I produce a reciept. They don't even wanna compromise or anything. I even asked him how would I know if you didnt really get the product that I returned. I'm not gonna pay for a crappy product that I don't even have. Now I don’t know what I’m gonna do, whether to pay for this crappy product or not. I don’t want to ruin my good credit standing by a crappy company like Dermacia.

I saw the infomercial on Dermacia and thought it was a good product. Turn out, it was the worse product ever. It made my face extremely dry, rashes, and totally uncomfortable. It made me looked as though I was burnt. I bought the product and off course it came in 1 week shy before it expired the 30 day to return. Used it twice and hated it. Forgot about it and the 30 day expired. 2 months later I received another package, I then was billed $35.99. I called and said I want to return the product, need a return number because the product is no good and I want to return it. The rep made me an offer that instead of having to go through the process of sending it back and wasting shipping and handling, she would give it to me for $35.99 in which she already charge me and that I would not be charge anymore. Because I did not want to waste time and money sending the product back, I said fine, I would keep the bad product and since she already billed me $35.99, I woudld just leace it at that. At that point she even gave me a confirmation number that she would not charge anymore on my credit card. A week later she charged 24.99 on my credit card, I called the 800 number to have the rep take of the charge and she said that she will not credit the charge because I agree to to buy the product at 24.99 more. I told her that is not correct. I do not even want the product and that I wanted to return it and the rep said that instead of going to through the process of wasting money to return it and until they receive the product than they will credit my credit card, she said she was not going to charge me anymore and that I should just keep the product since I already paid 35.99. The rep at that time lied and told me, she never said that. She said that at that time she offer the product for another 24.99 and I agreed and she was the one that talked to me. I told her I never said that, why would I buy it when I basically just called in to cancel. The product is very bad. Anyway, at that time, I ask to speak to a manager and she said there isn't anyone. She is the manager. She said she was not going to credit my money back and that is that. At that point, she jsut hang up on me. Don't ever buy this product, it is a scam and the rep totally unprofessional will lied and go on and beyond to scam you for money. Whatever you do just ask for return never take any chances. Worst product in the world.

I ordered dermacia in may and my order nefver was processed so upon calling to check status and learned this. The CSR told me wait a few days call back to see if there if not place a new one and I did. ANd I got that order but, I got wrong color and the larger package formuch moremoney. Then when calling to copmplain because partsof the order were stillmissing and low and behold the original order 1month and 1/2 later?? Then I was given a date to return if unsatisfied, given a promise of credits several times, not having all parts of kit and then never getting properly credited and having dates that were given to my by management dishonored. I am very unhappy. Not somuch withproduct as with policy and CSR. Did you know operators are telemarketers hired froman outside company and as told by CSR (no names)"they work in a big room and are subcontractors and don'talways know what they are doing... So,after hours on the phone and no satisfaction, no money, and no return call from manager, the owner BarryKnapp e-mails me and the message won't even open and then I lost it!! And to top it off do not know how to get anoter response. So in totality I rate them w/product and service a big fat Zero.

When I ordered I was told I would get 3 shipments for $120, only rec'd one, then CSR stated I had to pay additional $74 to get the other 2 shipment. Now, on my last shipment, CSR told me I had to pay $84 to get my last shipment. LIARS and SCAM artist. Never will I do business with this unprofessional rip off incompetent business. It is not worth it. You have to apply the make really first do it won't be cakey. I have never had so many headaches dealing with this company. NOT Worth it. Move on, don't buy this product!

I saw the infomercial about this stuff and thought it sounded great. But when it came, it was so dry, it was actually hard to apply. In a short time, it looked cakey on my face. Then it started to itch. I've never had an allergic reaction to any make-up before. I had already thrown away all the wrappings so didn't bother to return it, thinking I'd try it again. At least I had no trouble cancelling and no further charges were taken out of my account.

I went online and completed the information for a "trial size order". I recieved a complete kit and again it stated to return within 30 days if not satisfied which I did. Next thing I know, I received another kit, I contacted customer service and could not get through several times and when I did get through I actually was waiting on hold for close to twenty minutes. They informed me to return and mark the package as "return to sender" which I did. While I have not received any shipments since, I do continue to receive a charge on my charge card monthly. The first one was for 49.99 then they continue every month for 29.00. Every month I have to contact my credit card company and file a complaint. Again, I have tried to contact them to no avail. This company is a complete ripoff - do not order from them - you will have to cancel your credit card to stop the nonsense.

This is the worst foundation I've ever used. It was like applying clay to my face. Foundations are usually too dark for me, but this one made me look like a corpse. I didn't have any problem getting a refund though. The customer service department worked with me, even though I was late on the 30 day refund. Liked the toner. Hated the foundation. It is the weirdest consistency of any makeup I've ever used and hard to wash off.

I ordered dermacia and the product came in just shy of over a week. Now, my complaint is that you are told you have a 30 day money back guarentee, right? Well, I returned the product about 3 days from the day I ordered it which still did not give me 30 days to use it. They charged me 49.99 for it being over in their minds 3 days which if they would do the math would see that we are lied too on the info commercial about the 30 day trial. Another thing the cleanser burned my face and caused the top of my eyelids to swell up. I stopped using the cleanser but tried the make up and it made me look like a clown. I truely believe these people are in it to take wahtever money they can for any reason. I don't care what celeb is using it, just knowing how I was treated you never know if they are currently using it or if it was a one time deal to help promote this crap. I am not happy with these people and I also have other friends that have tried the product and feel the same way. All I have to say is I hope someone will step in soon and see what they are doing to innocent people.

Ordered the product and did not like it. It wa cakey and made you look older. The scam is in the return. If you like the product and do not return it. Great for you. YOu do not like the produce you will have helle to pay. I call Dermacia to return the product. CSR gives me a return ## to put on the outside of the box. I return it and call a week later to inquire about my refund. CSR states "we received your order on 2/1/07 so get it a copule of days and your will see your refund. I call back i month later when I recevied the $49.99 the second time on my Credit card. I am now told that the previous CSR was mistaken and there is noting in her notes to indicate they recieved it. They said I needed proof. Well I dumbly threw away the USPS receipt whe CSR said they recieved it. Called back with the return number and the CSR said no they needed a tracking #. I explained I can not be held responsible if the USPS loses it and you did not require a tracking number. She when on to blame me ans said once the package leave the warehares it is the customer responsibility. When I uses some choice adjetives to expressed how Messed up that was. She forgot all about my complaint and concentrated on my language. (that always clams you down right:^)I was so mad. I asked to speak to her boss. Apparnetly she does not have a boss just her and her other supervisor. That is liek being bounce between mom and dad say NO NO NO. Called corporate- they send you back to Customer service. I called Visa and I am disputing the charges. Dermica responed with "client did not return product" and I go my money back b/c the bank got Dermicia's notes that said they got the product and I would recieve a refund. This is regardless that they later said that was a mistake. I guess Dermacia thinks there is a mad rush to get their crappy product for free and we are all saying we returned it and did not. PLEASE

This company has an awful customer service that you will ever encouter in your life. They will suck you into the system at the trial stage that keeps sending the product every 3 months and charging you for it as well. If you call the customer service, they are very unfriendly and unprofessional. They have no intention to help you. I have called them to cancel my auto "membership" and the guy didn't even ask my name or anything and said "ok its done." Even after confirming my information with him, he still did not cancel my membership. A few months later, I received the notice that they have sent my another shipment. I sent e-mail this time to the customer service and there was no word of apology. Only 3 simple sentences. "Your membership was not cancelled. I cancelled it at this time. If you wish to return this shipment, follow the instruction in the box." ....That was it. No name of a rep or anything. This company really doesn't care about you at all. All they care about is how they can get more pepole sucked in. Not to mention, the product was not even worth $5. Smelled and felt like water color paint.

Dermacia is the worst company I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I've also sent a letter into the Dept of Consumer Affairs. I ordered their product in Nov 2006. I never received their product but I have received credit notices from them for the past 3 months and a letter stating that if no products have been received then I should receive them shortly. They string you along until the 30 day period is over and you have no hope of tracking any packages sent. Each time I have called the credit department I am told that they can't give me a tracking number and they can't help me in any way but if I didn't want to have this affect my credit I HAD to pay the $49.95. After months of going back and forth between Customer Service and their credit department, I have paid the $49.95 - which they couldn't give me a reference number to, so no receord, I have to wait for my credit card statement which will NOT say Dermacia - only to prevent my credit from being hit. This is a huge scam to get your money without providing products. Do not purchase from them.

I ordered Dermacia and tried it. The makeup dried before I could even get it applied. It felt like a mask..very heavy and artifical feeling. Just awful. The cleansing and toning products were nice, but not worth $100 by any stretch of the imagination. I returned it within five days of receiving it. I called them and told them I had returned it and they said if they did not receive it within 30 days, they would charge my account $29.95. Well, I was sure they would receive it. Then the shock: They charged me $49.95. I am disabled and the charge hit right at the end of the month when I had very little in my checking account. The $49.95 charge ended up costing me over $400. I cannot afford this. I can't get them to refund anything. I had to close my account. This is the worst scam I've ever encountered. They are dishonest and do not live up to what they say. Buyer beware: Do not, under any circumstances, even think about ordering this product. Any legitimate company would stand behind its product and not charge someone when they had to have received the package. I have never felt raped by a company before, but this one raped me...left me feeling just that violated.
