I used this product as well. The infomercial made it look like a great product plus you get a manicure set and robe etc.<br />

I did a patch test on my arm. It didn't bother me, perhaps my arm is less sensetive? I went ahead and placed it on both of my legs and waited the given time. I felt stinging and tingling, it wasn't very painful until I washed it off. Once the warm water touched my skin it made me cringed! Tears came to my eyes and I didn't have anything to place on the burn. I ran cold water over them until the stinging went away. I never realized how many other people have had problems with the product. I figured it was only me. IGIA did give me a refund they kept my s/h though. I had some of my money back and burned. Wish there were a class action lawsuit to show them they need to recall this product!

I brought this product about 8 years ago in a store. Tried it and didn't do anything to remove the hairs on my armpit and it burned like napalm on my skin. I had huge scabs for about a week. I didn't throw the product away because it might come in handy if a burglar breaks into my house. Epi stop is a terrible product for hair removal, but it makes for a nice arsenal for chemical warfare. ;)

I have tried this product in the cucumber-melon scent and it still smelt like a perm and felt like that is what I put on my face. After a couple minutes my face was on fire and no hair was removed.I had burns on my face that was embarrassing. In fact I believe it made my hair grow more in the place where I'm trying to get rid of it. This stuff is no good. They should reimburse me not only the money I paid for this worthless mess but for my pain and suffering as well.

Wow I can't believe I found this!! Its been a while but when I saw this I had to write what happened to me. I had some of my hair come off my both legs from my socks and i always looked like i shaved part of my legs so when i saw this product i thought i would put it on the rest of my legs and at least i wouldn't look like i shaved part of my legs. I put it on exactly how they said to and well after the pain and burning, i now have severe burns on my upper legs and bad burn marks that are on my legs for the rest of my life!!! I'm not kidding when i tell you that the burn marks are bad and never went away!! I TELL EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!!! IT'S NO GOOD!!!

I used this product and followed the directions exactly. I'm one of those people who are chronic direction readers and followers!! Took several tries to get ANY hair to come off, never did get it all...had pretty bad redness afterward. I don't have sensitive skin or any allergies. The hair I have is not heavy. In fact, the hair on my arms is virtually invisible fuzz. Add to all this, they imply that this is something "new", but in fact it's just the same old product you can buy over the counter, like "Nair". Actually I though Nair worked better but always hated the stink. I'll stick to my razor or waxing thanks. I know what to expect and I get the results I want.

I purchased the epil stop product and decided to try it on my upper lip tonight. Well let's just say it is red, burning, and swollen everywhere I applied the roll-on! I followed the directions exactly and regardless I have been in pain all night. I literally had to apply ice on my face to take the painful burning away. I am so upset, I have to go to a wedding in 3 days and I hope to god that this heals enough to show my face!!!Please, do not use this product it's terrible. :(

Fake, Fake, Fake!!! Don't waste your money!! This stuff smells awful and it just doesn't work! I can't believe it is still being sold!

OMG!!! Its really painful and it burns... I applied it to my chin and my upper lip and HAD to take it off within 3 minutes because it was burning too much. I took it off and even use the aloe cream and still burns. I even put tons of cold water and nothing. DON"T BUY THIS! This product should be take off the market. And to top it off, the 800 number is not accepting call at this minute. THIS IS a SCAM!!!

Don't waste your money! It's messy, it's painful, and doesn't remove anything... except maybe the top layer of skin. I thought it was just me; I have really sensitive skin. But when my friends tried it, they got the same results. I'm just glad I didn't buy from the informercial and get sucked into a money scam. I bought it at a flea market if Deltona, FL. One of those "As Seen On TV" stalls...

Wow, it has been a while since I bought this product, but when I found it on the list of scams I couldn't resist writing something about it. LIke everybody else, I saw the infomercial and fell for it. I put it on both my legs, left it according to instructions, and after I took it off it hurt so much that I couldn't even touch my skin! it felt like I had third degree burns! the touch of the sheets in my bed made me cry in pain! I called to get a refund and they told me that the product I had, was recalled because of a bad component. And I am so silly that I fell for it, and asked for the new cream, put it on, and SAME RESULTS! This company should be out of business. They do sell something that not only is not true, but it hurts your body!

I saw the infomercial for this product a few years back and was attracted to the fact that they said that it wasn't as messy as most hair removal, so when I saw it sold at a drugstore a few months later I jumped at the chance to try it. I used it only once and quit because when I sprayed it on my legs, it dripped down my leg and made a mess. I haven't used it since, but I still have it in a closet somewhere; I guess I should cut my losses and throw the thing away.

it stinks to high heaven!!! i left it on for the stated amount of time. it did burn and turn my skin red, but the hair on my legs was still there. it does remove paint, though!! when i sprayed it on i accidentally got some on the bathroom cupboard door..ate the paint right off of it!! maybe they should sell it as a paint stripper not a hair remover

I bought the roll on product to help me with unwanted facial hair. I did it accordingly. Now my face is burnt!!!!! I'm 25 years old and it hurts. I called epil stop and they told me to buy the after wash. I said this would be okay to put on even though my face is raw and burning. She stated yes. It didnt help it made it worse. I'm now seeking legal advice. GIRLS DONT USE THIS PRODUCT I COULD HAVE AFTER EFFECTS FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!!!!!

I should have known better than to not look on the internet first. Bought it, applied the roll on to my lip off and on about 3 times for a TOTAL of about 3 minutes and took it off because my skin felt numb and too smooth to the touch. I should have trusted my gut after reading the instructions. Now I sit here on Christmas Eve with ice stuck to my face and no Neosporin or access to get some since everyone is closed. My lip is red, raised on the left side and it burns. Goes to show how WORTHLESS the FDA is since this stuff is still around. Will be returning it on Dec 26. Epil Stop and Igia can pucker up and kiss my ass. Right in the middle.

A few years back I saw all the commercials for this product, and was interested. I have always had a terrible reaction to Nair, and was looking for a new product. Last summer I was shopping at a grocery outlet store and saw they has this product for only $1.98 a bottle! I stocked up and bought 6. The fitst time I tried to use the product, I pumped away at the spray bottle, and after several dozen pumes, a small burst of thick foul-smelling lotion came out. After that I could not use the sprayer because the stuff was too thick. I opened the bottle and applied it to my legs with my hands. After about a minute, it started burning like crazy. After 5 minutes, my legs were on fire and still no hair was coming off my legs (though it did remove my nail polish and start to melt my acrylic nails!). I jumped in the shower and tried to use a wet washcloth to get it off (remembering the instructions :DO NOT USE SOAP OR CLEANSING SUBSTANCE TO REMOVE, ONLY USE A DAMP CLOTH) The rubbing only made my skin hurt worse and I finally gave in and used some liquid Dial soap to get the slimy stuff off. After the shower, still hairy as before, I ended up using white vinegar on my legs to stop the pain and burning. I had multiple open sores and still have scarring to this day. I threw away all 6 containers. Thank God I didn't pay more than $12 for that mess!

Well, I was really exited when I got this product. Finally I could get rid of these hair. On TV they showed how they went to the beach and instantly removed hair from people's legs. Well, I'm not sure how they did it, but they definately did not use Epil Stop!!. Firstly, on TV it looks like it works immediately - no such luck. You have to leave it on for a long time before it removes any hair and by that time your skin burns like crazy. It did not leave too bad marks, but my skin was sensitive for a long time. I learned my lesson - There is a reason why they sell these products ONLY on TV. It's because no store would sell these. There are other products that does work and which are sold in shops and pharmacies. These have been tested and are safe even though they smell quite bad. Take my advice - if you need something like this, go to a pharmacy and get the right advice - not empty promises and painfull results....

I purchased the spray and used it as directed. I ended up with severe burns on my neck, permanent burns. This extremely a dangerous product. Igia Epil Stop should be held liable for damages. I'm scarred for life. I'm currently seeking an attorney to sue for damages. Please advise.

This Igia Epil Stop is pure TRASH! Don't buy it! It didn't remove much hair at all -- the only thing it did do was give me a rash and some painful blisters. I don't know how those informercials are made to look so credible, but now I know NOT to believe everything I see!
