Purchased this product and have used it numberous times with varying amount of time and it does not work at all! A waste of money and a big lie on TV thanks for the action you are taking.

I bought Epil Stop and tried it, the only thing it did was burn the crap out of my skin. It didn't matter where on my body I used it, it burned. It has since healed, but I would not recommend this product to anyone! I did not try to return my product, in fact I still have what's left, but it would be nice to warn other people before they go through the pain I did.

I purchased an Epil Stop kit from Eckerd's. Two sprays and a roll-on. The sprays did not spray. I had to pour the stuff out of the bottle. It did NOT take off the hair from my legs. It was a stinky waste of time. AS for the roll-on, it does NOT "roll on." I like to never got it out of that container. When I did, I used it on my upper lip, full chin area and neck area under chin. WHAT A NIGHTMARE. Within 3 minutes the PAIN began. I hung in there, thinking I was just sensitive. Two more minutes and I was running to the sink. Wiping and then washing off the product made no difference to the pain. I swelled up, had painful, scabby burns on my face. ON MY FACE!!!!!! There is NO excuse for that. And yes, I followed the directions. It took more than 2 weeks for the scabs to improve. I still have scarred skin on my upper lip.

I saw the infomercial and realized I would like to try the product. My girlfriend told me about all these "as seen on tv" items at our local Eckard Drug Store, so off I went since it had been some time since I had seen the infomercial I assumed this is how they were selling the item now. I did purchase it with the spray, and roll on. It was virtually impossible to get the hair off unless it was very long hair. The product didn't work on the regular stubble type hair. The roll on for facial and other body hair (like underarms) didn't work at all. All it did was make the areas used on red and then very, very, dried and cracked for several days. It was quite painful to be exact. Basically it was huge waste of money and time trying to use it.

I bought Epil Stop & Spray after watching their commercial and was very impressed of the results. However, after making payment on the item I didn't receive it after a month. I used the product as directed and no hair came out, only a rash and burning sensation on my leg. Not only does the product didn't work but I spend an additional money to return it. I was lucky to receive my refund two month's later. To all ladies who is thinking of purchasing this product DON'T IT'S NOT WORTH THE MONEY AND PAIN! I suggest the better business bureau and FDA regulates a strict policy of products. Which are being sold nationwide to consumers for their protection.

When I saw the epil stop product, I was so excited. I have very long legs and course hair.  This was the product for me. I even talked my brother in to buying it for the hair on his back.  Did it work NO.  It just burned our skin the hair stayed on.  And I couldn't get a hold of anyone for a refund.

Susan writes:
Fortunately I did not wait the full 10 minutes required for the product to work. It burned so badly after 1 minute I washed it off. In addition I feel this product is grossly misrepresented. I don't believe "instantly" and "spray and wipe away" constitutes 8-10 minutes. The infomercial also state the product is "100% natural citrus derived", it just happens to contain thioglycolic acid. I also remember not ordering the automatic shipments but received it anyway. Finally after 6 months or so I got that stopped (I think).   Once these people get your credit card number they just continue to send product over and over.

I purchased epil stop early last year. The smell makes me nauseous. The product does not work the way it was advertised on the infomercial. I did not try to return it because I was concerned that they would not pay for the postage of a returned product. One of my friends also purchased the products and was very disappointed with the same problems as I was. The only thing in the box that was as advertised was the robe, but even then I had thought that the robe was of terrycloth and it was not. I believe that I could go to my back and get a copy of the credit card receipt, it needed.

This product was HORRIBLE! I don't know what they put in it to remove the hair from your body, but it would dissolve asphalt on a highway!! Me and a few co-workers ordered this product. Two of us applied a test spot to our leg and within just a few minutes a HUGE RASH with a burning sensation had developed on me and my co-worker...the third person decided NOT to use it seeing what it did to our skin!! This should have never been placed on the market! Who knows what kind of chemicals had seeped into my skin after using it!

I used this junk (roll-on form) on my upper lip area & my eyebrows. Within 5 minutes, it had left me with blisters that pussed up. It scabbed up really badly, which took over a week & a 1/2 treating with aloe vera & vitamin e to get rid of. I was unable to return it to Rite aid where I bought it, because I had thrown away the receipt. I don't even CARE about a stinking refund. I'd just like to see these jerks out of business!!!

Epil Stop & Spray is the worst product I have ever tried. I bought this product a couple of weeks ago from Walgreens. I washed and dried a small area on my arm and applied Epil Stop & Spray to cover in a white foam. I waited 3 minutes and wiped off a tiny spot and the hair did not come off.. So,as per the instructions I left the rest of for an additional 2 minutes (totaling 5 minutes), again I wiped off a tiny spot and the hair still did not remove completely (about 2 or 3 came off this time). As the instructions indicated that you can leave the product on up to 8 minutes, I left a small area covered with the product for an additional 2 minutes (making a total of 7 minutes.....it burned so bad that I could not stand the pain. Even my worst sunburn has not compared to the pain of the burning. I immediately put my arm into cold running water using a towel I flushed the product off my arm. Once it was off my arm was red and blistery. I think that if I would have left it one it may have burned through my skin!!!!  Luckily, I had some Neosporin to put on it which really helped..

I was so impressed by the infomercial but the skeptic in me put off buying it for awhile.  I saw the infomercial several more times and then when I saw the product in the drug store, I just had to try it. I followed the directions-- no hair was removed, it burned and I was left with a rash. Very upsetting and disappointing.

This does not work at all, whatsoever! I can't believe that they sell this garbage. Even if it did work, they give the false impression that it will keep hair away for six weeks. What they're really saying is that you have maybe a six week supply? Even waxing can't keep hair away for six weeks.

My husband bought this product for me as a birthday gift and I was so excited cause I hate shaving. I used this product and I can only say this: buy Nair. They claim that it will leave your legs feeling smooth for weeks, but my hair grew back the next day. And my legs itched AND it smelled worse than Nair. This stuff comes in the mail and is expensive. Nair is right down the street for about 5 bucks a bottle.

I HATE THIS PRODUCT!!! A huge waste of money for nothing in return! I have never really been sucked into infomercials before, but this one REALLY seems like it would work! So me and two other co-workers all ordered it,and were anxious to try it...so me and one of the co-workers tried it out...we each sprayed a bit on our leg to test it out, and within minutes there was a HUGE rash and massive burning sensation, and it wouldn't go away when we tried to wash it off with soap and water! AND it didn't even remove any hair! I don't know what they put in that stuff, but the "light citrus scent" they advertised was hardly the case, and the stuff was SO pungent I bet it would melt asphalt on a Highway, and to think that I put it on my body and it was absorbed into my skin!! Scary stuff!! So for $40 I got a huge rash that took forever to finally heal, and the irony of the whole thing is I couldn't shave that spot on my leg for weeks because of the rash/scabs healing!! ARGH! There is a place on this website where you can place your claim to join in a class-action lawsuit against the company who manufactures this product, I urge you to join that force and maybe there will be stricter guidelines on products like this being manufactured, as this product NEVER should have been put on the market!!

I purchased Epil Stop from a local drug store in hopes that the product would do what it says. I did as the product says about the "test" on a part of your body. It seemed to be fine, but when I used it on my body it not only didn't do what it was "suppose" to do, it caused a chemical burn that took 2-3 weeks to heal, and go away. I was very upset, and my family (and friends) asked me if I had a sun-burn, or had been burned. I, of course, told them never to by this product. Not only does it not do what it says, it smells NASTY-the citrus doesn't help it's smell!!! This product could be used in our war efforts against Iraq.

I ordered Epil Stop after seeing the infomercial several times. They seemed so convincing. I watched them use it on several people, and it appeared to work beautifully. But they must have either pre-treated those people or used a different formula. The kit I got in the mail was not exactly what I expected. The bottles were very small. But, I wanted to try it immediately. So, I read the instructions, and got ready to begin. When I sprayed that stuff on my legs, it smelled awful. (Even though they advertise a pleasant smell...) Then my skin tingled a little, then it started to itch. But I was patient...I figured it must be doing something. After about 8 minutes I wiped a small spot to test it. Not one hair came out of my skin...not one!  So I resprayed the spot I had tested and I waited another 7 or 8 minutes...NOTHING! By now my skin was very irritated, so I rinsed my legs with clear water for about 10 to 15 minutes...since the directions say not to rub your skin...I waited a couple of days and tried it again. Still, nothing happened. That stuff is useless, and its a waste of money. My advice....don't buy beauty products without trying them first!!!

I bought epil stop thinking that it wold do what it promised. I sure did remove the hair and it felt like it removed my skin as well. I used a small amount from the roll on to my upper lip and left it on for the recommended time. I had severe enough burning that my lip was read for days and the skin peeled. I had thought maybe that the product was just to strong for the lip area and my boyfriend was interested in using it on his back area. Immediately it started to burn so I removed it from his back. Later we noticed red skin and bubbles. I was so upset, not only did it burn but the hair grew back just as fast as if I had used a regular hair removal cream.

Brian writes:
For starters, I know that I should have used my better judgement and not made the purchase, but on the infomercial the hair was just whisked away like it has just been laid on top of the person's skin.  I got it home and used it right away and my face burned like the dickens and no hair came off, just skin.  I had blisters that looked like the worst acne anyone has ever had, and no amount of cold water could stop the burn.  I am not even going to go there with the smell, but dang it reeked!!!  This product needs to be removed from the market before more people are injured.

I purchased Epil-stop about 2 months ago. When I got home I read the labels and the directions and did exactly what it said to do. within a few min of application my skin started burning so I washed it off I had a red rash and bumps on my legs and underarms for two weeks. plus the burning took hours to stop even after several cool water baths. I tried to call the company but all I got was to hold for over an hour on 2 separate occasions.
