First of all, I called the phone number to order this product, and they tried to sell me 10 other things, which made me really mad. First they asked me if I wanted the free robe for an additional $8.95 shipping. Then they told me I was eligible to receive FREE magazine subscriptions, lifetime supply of lip removal (for a $3.95 S&H charge each time) and they went on. Finally, I told the lady that I didn't want anything except this product and I didn't want to listen to her speal anymore. She said that if she couldn't tell me the speal, I couldn't order the product. I said, "Fine, I don't want it then." Talk about CUSTOMER service. If the customer says shut-up, they should be allowed to not have to hear anything else. Is the customer always right anymore, and DO we have rights??? I went ahead and ordered it online and saved $5 - if I wouldn't have ordered it at all, I would have saved $25.00. About the product: It sucks, don't spend your money. I thought I would get something for the moustache area in the package, and what they gave me was a roll on for the legs and it said not to use in the lip area. It said not to leave the product on for more than 8 minutes, and I tried it at 8 minutes and it didn't do anything. It stunk up my house, the hair grew back just as quick as if I had shaved, and shaving takes 20 times less time as this did. I didn't try to send it back, but it seems from the other posts I wouldn't have gotten anywhere with it anyways. Saved me some time I guess.

I bought Epil-Stop at target and I was so pissed at how poorly it worked. Not only did it not work I have a bad rash and it smells so bad. I recommened not to buy this product at all.

I ordered this product with hopeful visions of smooth skin and an unabashed night of romance with my Naval Officer Husband after his long awaited return from his tour of the Orient on one of Uncle Sam's Big Liners. The product arrived in 4 to 6 weeks. So excited was I that I tore the package open and applied generous amounts of product to my body. My skin began to sting and burn. Washing it only worsened the effect. It's days later and still the burn, my skin is red and blistered, and no hair has been removed. My urine feels like a stream of razor blades. I can't get through to the customer service line, and I feel faint. When my husband comes home they'll be sorry.

I ordered Epil Stop and Spray in June. The lady on the phone said 2-4 weeks. I waited for 2 months then tried to cancel my order but the lady on the phone said it should be arriving soon. So I waited another 2 months and still no show. Then finally it arrived and I ended up paying $200. So I tested it and didn't remove a single hair! Don't buy anything from the TV!

I was to receive a terry bathrobe free when I placed my order. I did not receive this. I tried both the roll on cream and the spray and it did not remove any hair. I have tried contacting the 800# to no avail. It's always busy. This product does not do what it claims. I am a hairstylist and I do facial waxing also. I'll stick with my hot wax thanks.

I'm sorry to say that Epil Stop and Spray is just another depilatory, and a poor one at that. I unfortunately believed that it would be superior to store bought products, especially after watching how easily it removed hair on television. Well, it burnt my skin, and removed only sporadic hairs. I gave it several more tries, leaving it on for the maximum time I could stand. Still, the results were much less than satisfactory. I don't know about the hair growth inhibitor qualities because I didn't use it long enough. Save yourself some money and use a razor-it works better. I should mention that this isn't the first useless Igia product I've purchased. I'd watch out for their claims-they leave much to be desired.

In short this product did not work AT ALL and when I sent it back to the company to receive the promised refund, nothing was charged back to my card. I was unable to get a straight answer from customer service and never did get the refund or one hair removed. Avoid this company!

We ordered the product and it does absolutely nothing. I believe that Epil Stop should stop being advertised on TV or anywhere else. The product does don't remove hair at all and it stinks!

Marcia writes:
I ordered this product and it worked very poorly. I have very thin, very faint hairs, and it didn't remove them. This product is a rip off.

Agnes writes:
The product just didn't work for me. I had to make a toll call for customer service. I probably cost me more in calls than the actual product. Waited 4 months for a refund. When I received the refund, the check wasn't signed. So epil-stop still owes me $29.99. I tried a couple of different as seen on TV products from cyberworld. This was a joke too. The products were used and the packaging was torn and dirty. I received a refund but didn't receive monies back for shipping and handling. $9.00 dollars is a lot for poor packaging.

Well lets start with the ads they show on TV with them wiping away the hair on that guys chest and back, that is what made me buy it, because since I was 16-17 I started growing hair all over my body and I was beginning to look like Chewbacca from star wars ok, that bad. Well I tried the product the way it said to, did the patch test and waited 24 hrs and then I started the task of removing hair, lets just say it took over 6oz of the stuff just to do my chest and stomach area & it also took over an hour to get that done, now I am covered in little red bumps and I am breaking out in a terrible rash, this stuff doesn't work don't believe the hype about this product. It is like rubbing salt in an opened soar. I wish I could sue this company, any one with me on that!!

I bought this product (still have it in the original packaging) and when applied to my chest the burning sensation took hold in about 3 minutes and I still had another 5 minutes to go!! It made my left nipple swollen for a few days and my chest was too tender even for cool water to touch it.

Jackie writes:
My mom bought epil stop at a drugstore about a year ago after watching the infomercial. She believed the claim that epil stop made of being a product that would effectively remove unwanted and unsightly hair. So she went ahead and bought it and carefully read the directions before using it. She then proceeded to use the roll-on on her upper lip and left it on just as it was indicated on the bottle, but before it was time to wipe off I noticed her upper lip turning red and she told me that she was going to rinse it off because the burning sensation was too strong. Sure enough epil stop did burn her upper lip and till this day you can visible see the damage. I also personally tried using the spray on my legs but after so many failed attempts of hair removal and the prolonged waits I just gave up and both of us discontinued the use of this product.

I bought epil stop about couple month ago I do every thing they say to do I wait about 4 to 8 minute before I wipe it off. When I wipe off all my hair on my legs didn't come off I still have to go and use a razor to shave off the rest of the hair on my legs. I also use the roll on for upper lip it didn't remove and hair from my upper lip I still have to go and shave it off with razor. Epil Stop & Spray is a joke.

I purchased the epil stop system at Target of all places, because I saw the infomercial. I used it and I did fine on the small patch test I did on my arm, so I thought the product would be fine, then I left it on for not even  5 mins. on my arms, and I had to wash it off, my arms were burning so bad, I was starting to get welts on my skin. I immediately washed it off with cold water, and my skin had a red rashy looking burn all over it which blistered a bit in some spots and peeled and pussed. It was disgusting. I looked like I had a disease on my arms. I called my doctor and his nurse said to apply solarcane to it to help the burning feeling (which didn't go away until over a week) and my son's diaper rash ointment. And eventually it got better. Needless to say I would never EVER buy this product or recommend it to anyone. I have light scarring in certain places from it but nothing atrocious. Needless to say I went back to waxing every four to six weeks.

I got the Epil Stop & Spray from a local mall. If anyone is thinking of buying this product...DON'T. I got it and it is no different from any other hair depilatory. You may as well save a few bucks and go to the local drugstore and buy Nair.  On TV it appears that you spray it on and wipe it off. No!!! You still have to sit there 4 to 8 minutes for this stuff to work. And the claimed "citrus" smell was no where to be found. It wasn't quite as stinky and other hair removal creams, but it smelled nothing like citrus to me. Save your money and get something cheaper.

I bought epil-stop and used the roll-on on my eyebrows and it burned my eyebrow skin. I developed blisters and it was very painful to apply my eye shadow and remove it. I wouldn't have minded being burnt if only it had actually REMOVED my hair!!! Not a single hair was removed and all I had were burnt eyelids to show for. STOP in the name of epil-stop!!! It's a trap!!!

Dianne writes:
I tried Epil Stop and ended up with a face so red and irritated that I could not go outside for 3 days!  The product never removed any hair and because I had to let it grow and not hot wax or shave it for two or three days before I used the product (as per the directions) and then since I could not do anything to my skin for about 2 days afterward--I looked like the bearded lady with a rash!  I was so disgusted and embarrassed that I just threw the rest of it away and hid away in my house.

Eden writes:
I also tried this product when it became available in stores (I got it at Walgreens or Target) and was upset, but after reading what others wrote I got off easy! It stank, burned, and if it did anything to the hair, it frizzed it like a bad perm! My skin oozed like a scrape!  It hurt!  I couldn't shave for a week because my skin hurt too much!  I have fine clear hair above my lip (like we humans get) which you can't see, but I thought what the hell, I'll wipe it off--big mistake! My upper lip was like a sore--it oozed and I got a crusty stuff like a scab! It was embarrassing! I wonder what the people on the infomercial really used! I haven't found anything better than just shaving! I tried that NADS too--blah! It only works with its strips which run out fast, it is messy, and it doesn't get all the hair anyway. Oh and it hurt too. If the hair stayed gone, maybe it would be worth it, but it is back in a couple of weeks. It took longer to get rid of the stray goop that got everywhere than the hair stayed gone...or about anyway. It just wasn't worth it. I think "epil-anything" means DO NOT BUY!

Janet writes:
I tested the epil-stop, both strenghts on my arms and legs with no reaction.  I'm thinking cool, I'm not allergic to it.  So I did my upper lip and chin area, early on Sunday morning, by noon it was itching.  I finally went to look in the mirror, and it was as red as a apple.  That was a lot worse than having the hair.  Then I thought if I only have to do this once every couple months, well maybe.  Well my hair grew back before the rash disappeared.
