I bought Epil Stop and found that not only does the cream depilatory not work any better than an over the counter product like Nair but, the Vitamin E spray that is supposed to retard hair growth does not work at all! I am the type of person who does not have to shave more than once per week. This product did nothing for me that my razor couldn't do. I also had to use the cream twice and still had to shave afterwards!

Just last summer tried epil stop spray on my legs and received severe burns which has left marks on my legs. Also used the roll on under my chin to remove hair and received burns as well. Stop using and I have still have the products under my bathroom cabinets.

I bought this product in 1998 and used it on my EYEBROWS! NOT VERY SMART! It burned a line below my eyebrows and I was just visiting friends for Thanksgiving. Never forget the embarrassment! I lent the product to a friend with severe problem hair on her legs, for her it did not even work! Go figure!

I purchased epil stop for $20.00 at a BJ's Wholesale store. It included the roll on and the spray. I used the roll on on my upper lip and jaw line after a few minutes I tested the area, no hair was removed so I intended to leave it on a few minutes longer. After a minute or so it started to cause a burning sensation so I washed it off. The next morning my skin was dry, tight and had a red rash on my face which itched, burned and oozed. It resembled rug burn, and took about three days to disappear. As for the spray, it did not remove any hair on my legs, even after a period of twenty minutes. I never used the product again.

I bought the product at CVS Pharmacy after seeing the infomercials. Everyone in my family had wanted to try it, but didn't want to be first, I guess. I took it home, read the instructions, and followed them to the letter. Four minutes later, I wiped it off, and NO hair had been removed. I thought, "well, maybe I didn't leave it on long enough." So I tried it again - in the same spot - for 8 minutes. By that time, the burning sensation was so bad I could hardly stand it. I wiped, and NO hair had been removed. Not one. It was still burning, so I tried to wash it off, and that made the burning worse. I ended it up with a bad rash on my leg for a couple of weeks. I told everyone in my family about the fiasco, and you can be sure none of us will ever buy anything that says IGIA on it ever again.

I tried epil stop and what a rip off. It burned my skin and still didn't remove hardly any hair. The hair it did remove grew right back and the rash I received was still there. It is truly a scam.

I bought the epil stop of ebay about 3 months ago. I applied it all over by stomach and chest and shoulders, and waited as long as it said to. I then washed it off with luke warm water, and I noticed that it hurt to rub off the epil stop. I then got in the shower, turned it to cold because it burned so bad, and when everything came off, there was terrible burns on my stomach/chest/shoulders. I was kind of embarrassed, so I told me friends that it was battery acid from my car, and they believed me. It looked that bad, and hurt worse. Since then, I threw it away, and never gave it another chance!

I bought epil stop at a nearby mall from a store called, "As Seen on TV." I've seen the infomercial and it is definitely misleading because it doesn't say that you have to leave it on 4-8 minutes! When I bought the package at the store, the outside of the box did not have any details about the timing either. I bought it and tried it out at home. Like many of the people here, it started to give me a burning sensation. It hurt to wipe and my skin was red. Some of the hair came off, but a lot of it didn't. I ended up getting burns and scabs. Wasn't this product supposed to not irritate skin? A razor feels much better than this product.

I've always disliked shaving because it never last more than a day. So, then I saw an infomercial on Epil Stop and was so excited I purchased it right away. When it came I rushed to the bathroom to try it but, my happiness was ruined when I saw no results. I would have been better buying a $6 dollar bottle of nair. They only good thing about epil stop is the somewhat citrusy smell.

Purchased epil stop at store. Sprayed it on. Left it on per required directions. Wiped it off. Both legs had a large amount of small burns. Scabs formed a couple days later. Took product back to store for refund. Will never ever buy product again.

This product is total BS! I bought it at a shoppers drug mart, cause I had seen it on TV one night and it looked like it would really work. I got home and was all excited to try it. Unlike on TV where they simply spray it on and wipe it off, you have to wait 4-8 minutes. I sprayed it on my leg, waited 8 minutes and wiped it off. By then, no hair had been removed, and my leg was burning! I think that NO ONE SHOULD BUY THIS PRODUCT because it is a scam and shouldn't even be on the market if doesn't do what its suppose to and does even work what so ever!! What kind of person would come up with a product, lie and say that it works, when really it makes things worst!?

I ordered the product because it looked like it worked great on the infomercial. I figured that leg hair removal had been around for years so this wouldn't be much different. I only had the slightest of hair on my back, but it somewhat bothered my wife so I decided to try the Epil Stop. I read the directions very carefully to make sure that I used the product properly. I had everything ready to go as instructed when I was ready to begin. I sprayed the solution on, waited the proper amount of time and started taking it off with a cloth. The hair didn't come off as easily as described in the infomercial and then the hell began. It started burning my back so bad that it was bright red and I developed whelts. I knew this wasn't normal, but there was nothing I could do about it. The whelts were there for almost two weeks and the red blotches finally went away after about six weeks. I returned the product and after several phone calls, emails and letters, I finally received my money back. This product should have never been allowed to be sold anywhere.

I purchased Epil Stop -n- Spray @ a Walgreens about 6 months go. It didn't work at all but sure gave me a nice burn wherever I put it. I left in on the recommended amount of time & it still burned me. My skin hurt all over & any type of lotion or cream didn't help.

I bought epil stop at the drug store because I had to tape my ankles for sports and I hate to shave so I thought this would be a good solution. When I used the product I left it on for the time it said on the box and then it started to burn. so I then started to wipe it off and it still burned. Needless to say I had a rash on my ankles for about two weeks. I was very unpleased with this product.

Does not work. Claims "Just Spray and Wipe away." It actually takes 8+ minutes of waiting, and no hair is removed. It is a watered down version of Nair. RIP OFF

I purchased Epil Stop about 2 years, ago, at the height of its popularity. Not only was the product completely ineffective, it was very harsh on my skin. My skin became very irritated-I actually broke out in a rash for several days. I discontinued use immediately and planned to return the product for a full refund (as promised in the infomercial) but had no luck with customer service or claims department and eventually gave up.

I bought epil stop at a local drug store (Osco). It came with the roll on and the spray. I tried the spray first on my legs and ended up leaving it on for 20+ minutes and nothing happened. There was a bit of a burning sensation especially when I tried to wash it off, but nothing serious. I then tried the roll-on on my face and was burned. I was left with blotchy red marks all over my face, even in spots that I had not directly touched with the roll on. They lasted about a week. After that my skin was very dry for several weeks, regardless of how much moisturizer I used. The store would not take it back for a refund, they said I would have to contact the company who made it. I did and they told me that since I had not purchased it from the TV program, they couldn't refund it either.

I was compelled to buy this product. It seemed so simple and perfect. Spray the Nair -like product on and wipe away the hair. It was magical. Every girl's dream. A hairless body in a snap. I bought the product for $20.00 at a drug store. I was very excited to use it. I tried the roll-on, turned on the timer for 10 min. and waited for the miracle. 10 minutes later not one hair gone I began to curse. What I wanna know is, why are these products not regulated? What is the FDA doing with their time and the public's money anyway? Will no one help us?

I bought the Epil Stop and Spray for men. It does not work. I applied globs of it on one section of my leg, and about 1/3 of the hair came off. The stuff smells horribly (despite the claims on the bottle), and it doesn't remove much hair. It's a total rip off. Sue the pants off the people who made this product.

I bought Epil Stop when it first came out a couple years ago. I followed the directions. When I put it on my face within a matter of seconds my face started burning really bad. I washed it off immediately. The next day I had really bad scabs on my face. A couple of MONTHS later the company sent me a letter saying I should throw it away because there was something wrong with it. They also gave me a new jar. I didn't bother to try it. I threw it away also.
