This is a classic "bait-and-switch" rip-off. The product is a cheap jack, worthless piece of junk, the money back guarantee is a blatant lie, customer service is non-existent, and there is no accountability at any level. I have reported this outfit to the Connecticut Attorney General, and I will be reporting them to the FBI for credit-card fraud. Any television network that runs this infomercial should be implicated as a party to fraud and grand larceny. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. IT IS A SCAM.

I purchased the Fast Abs on the web while watching the infomercial. The product was delivered to me but is not as advertised. There was no billing statement enclosed with the product nor was I e-mailed anything...I do not know how or to whom to return the product as it appears to have been shipped to me from the manufacturer...is there more than one outfit selling Fast Abs Deluxe? There is no information contained in the box on how to get the 30 day money back guarantee...I need your help....

I ordered the Fast Abs Deluxe abdominal exerciser and was dismayed to find out that one of the toner units did not work and the belt was so poorly constructed that it caused blisters on my skin.  United Fitness of America had a warranty card included but nowhere in the kit was a customer service phone number. I purchased the kit by credit card over the phone and one of the conditions of return/replacement was that I needed proof of purchase. How am I to provide this??? The product is a complete rip off and I would advise anyone not to purchase Fast Abs and especially not to purchase anything from United Fitness of America!!!

On November 7, 2001 I ordered Fast Abs System for my husband. On 12-01-01 the $49.00 charge was posted on my husbands credit card bill. We received our cc bill on 12-15-01 and I called the number of the infomercial I ordered it from. They gave me a # 1-800-648-6618. I have been calling this number everyday since December 15 2001 and have not been able to get anything except anxiety. This phone number rings twice then turns to a busy signal. I called the infomercial number back and they told me all the lines were tied up and to keep trying. I have tried for 1 month and 5 days day and night and still the same thing. I believe I have been scamed and will report this to the BBB.

Well, my story is similar to one of the other ones submitted on this site for Fast Abs. I saw the infomercial on TV that said that you would recieve all kinds of free stuff if you called within the next few minutes. Well, I called & the guy I talked to said that he showed that I could get nothing free. I asked him if the TV was wrong and he said no, but I still could get nothing free. I went ahead & ordered it. The next day I got on the internet site from the commercial & it said the exact same thing that the TV had said "free stuff". I sent a complaint to customer service, with no response of course. When I finally received my Fast Abs, it said on the box that some items may be shipped separately. So I thought maybe they decided to send me my extra free stuff and I waited on it to arrive. Meanwhile my 30 day trial was running out. Now I'm stuck with this stupid thing that doesn't work at all!!! Something definitely needs to be done about this rip-off of a company....

I ordered my Fast Abs through a magazine. I did get it fairly quickly so that was not a problem. The problem is that it's a piece of crap and it does not do what it is supposed to do. Tried it for 30 days straight, no toned abs the only thing it did do was make the muscles in my waist Flabby!!!!!! Tried to find out how to get my money back because there was money back guarantee if did not work, could never get an answer. The magazine I ordered from stated that the refund had to come from manufacturer. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Purchased "Fast Abs" system by phone on 12/18/01, product arrived on 1-11-02, used product 8 times, twice a day (four days) according to instructions. The ninth time the system did not work at all, I changed the battery with a new one and applied the appropriate amount of gel, still did not work. The companies warranty runs for thirty (30) days from purchase date. Problem being there is a two week window from purchase date to day product is first used, the operator informs the customer that the product will not arrive for at least 3-6 weeks, does not seem fair. Secondly to return the product customer must supply a check for $9.95 (shipping/handling), that does not seem to be fair and seems that it is a scam, why should I pay for a defect that I am not responsible for, especially seeing that the product was hardly ever used?

I ordered the fast abs over a T.V. ad. I received the piece of junk and 2 dead batteries. I explained when I ordered this they were not to send me any gels extra. I have been receiveing 2 bottles every 60 days. I can't find any number to call and ask them to stop now they take my money out of my bank without my permission. I've wrote them every time, but they still seem to be able to steal from me. No need to try to send them back they only send them back to you and charge you again.

My wife ordered fast abs through a company called (leisure) in Nov. of 2001 for $49.00. Shipping and everything came to $94.13. We made payment by check. They got the routing and account #'s, and every month since then they stole $94.13 from her account, because of automated drafting. It is now Aug of 2002.

I bought this unit thinking I would tighten my abs and really look good like the commercial says.  When I used the unit, I found that my skin had burned.  I thought I needed to use more gel, but it still burned my skin.  DO NOT USE IT.  IT CAN BE DANGEROUS IF YOU HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN.   PS...There wasn't a possible way to return this product.  I tried every which way and you JUST CAN'T.  WHAT KIND OF GUARANTEE IS THAT?  NOW THAT IS A SCAM.

All I can say is I want this company exposed. Fast Abs is a crock, I don't care a hoot if it worked for some, I wonder if they were also bilked out of monthly fees out of your debit account for Leisure Plus a Vacation club that even if you say you DON'T want to participate or become a member they sign you up anyway! My son was unfortunate enough to buy the worthless Fast Abs unit, and was signed up against his will to this freaking Leisure Plus. what is most unfortunate, is he never regularly checked his bank statements, and those creeps took monthly amounts of 7.95 for 13 months! sadly he was sorely taken, I wonder just how many others were taken by these cheating lying telemarketers!

I purchased the Fast Abs product in Dec 2001. When it arived it did not work and was cheap. I sent it back in January 2002. Since then I have  gotten nothing but the run around about my refund of $75.68. (That alone was a problem, when they advertised the product on TV it was about $40.00 and they deducted $75.68 from my bank account.) I have called and written and have gotten no where. First I was told it send credited to my account, call the bank, which I did and it wasn't then I was told to get a letter from my bank stating that it wasn't credited, the bank said NO! just this week I was told to fax a copy of my Nov 2001 bank statement to them. Everytime I call I get someone new and now they have an outside company working for them. I'm not quitting I want my money. I even told them that I consider this a theft. But I am very frustrated about how they are putting me through so much to get my money. I have spent to much time and money calling them to get nothing.

I purchased this product for around $40 it came with two maxell batteries, the unit, velcro belt, velcro belt for arms, and gel. I used this product for about a week and a half and then it stopped working, i changed the battery and then it worked for about two days. after that i haven't been able to make it turn on again. this product is cheap, its a piece of crap. also the back of the unit started to crack with only the first use. I followed the instructions exactly. I would really like to know how I can get my money back.
