I purchased the fold colander and only used it ONCE. It wasn't as easy to fold and put away as stated and it didn't work any better than a regular colander. The big thing for me was space, but it took up just as much as much as a regular colander to me so it. I bought it because I thought it would work like a regular colander and take up less space. It definitely did not meet those needs so it is currently in the Goodwill pile.

The Standalone Flat Fold Colander web site is a complete scam & rip off. The Company Telebrands Corp which uses "As Seen On TV" slogan railroads you into a larger fee! When you purchase the unit you do not see your total until you have already purchased the Colander. Your second free Colander is a complete rip off & scam. You are asked if you would like to have a free Colander, then on the next page you are told it will be an extra $9.99 dollars shipping & handling. This is in addition to the advertised $6.99 shipping and handling charge for the first Colander. When I saw the commercial on TV it advertised the Colander with Free additional Colander (and 3 free small storage containers) for $10 plus shipping and handling I thought it sounded like a good deal. When I went to the website, it actually charges $14.99 for the Colander, but I still figured that wouldn't be so bad if I was getting another free colander and the 3 small storage containers. It's only after you've submitted your credit card that they tell you, Thank You for Your Purchase of the 1st Colander; "Now would you like the free one and storage containers for an additional charge"! bogus advertising and railroading!!! Then a pop up window appears and a person is trying to sell me some purchasing plan for Walmart, Home Depot, and a few other major retailers for a nominal fee which then defaults to some regular fee which they do not tell you the amount. I said "No Thank You." The person insisted and asked again and also asked for the last four digits of my credit card for verification. I said, "What don't you understand about No, means No!!!". To my absolute frustration, the person asks me again!!! By that time, because of the problems with the deceptions of the product price and deviations in shipping costs I was so pissed off I told them I was only 16, and that it was my dad's credit card, thinking they would not be able to overcharge my card to these additional programs. Well, to the reply that I was a minor, the chat person just signs off without notice!!! I hope people will see this and stay away from the Telebrands company!!!!!!
