Anyone with a problem with FLOAM should contact the Better Business Bureau. They were able to get a refund for me. Also, they will be able to track all of the complaints. The website to order on was a not ethical in its sale practices.

My son has a little floam ball way down in his ear and his ear is bleeding because of trying to get it out. We are going to be in the hospital tomorrow morning because of this stupid unsafe product. There were no age restrictions fo I figured it would be safe....it is tiny balls of foam and glue....so he basically as tiny foam glued to his eardrum. Thanks...great product.

I purchased floam to give as favors for my sons birthday party and now I am soooo embarassed. It is just as others have complained about. It sticks to anything and everything. It is totally unworkable and I am a seasoned crafter and art person. I will be writing to this company.

After months of my 4 year old son asking for this product everytime we went to the craft store, I decided for Christmas we would but a few small tubs (as it was on sale) so that he could make a Christmas gift. If I could swear on this site I would, unbelieveable, it worked nothing like the ad. It was so gooey and stringy that my son wouldn't even go near it, I worked it for almost an hour and it still would not stop sticky to my hands. Getting it to stick to a box was impossible. This is by far the worst product I have even laid my hands on, and I have crafted for years. There is no way this product is suitable for an adult let alone ages 5, this stuff needs to be pulled off the market

This product is HORRIBLE. After my 6 year old daughter watched this infomercial she was so excited about it she even offered to pay for it with money she had been saving. The first issue is that even though on the website when I ordered it I clearly ordered ONE order, I was sent two ordered and charged over 60.00 dollars. Then when we took it out of the box, how gross! It is like slime and glue mixed together that stinks really bad with annoying beads that make it harder to get it off your hands. Ther is NO way you could make any of the things they advertised on the infomercial. What a SCAM! I am surprised this hasn't been taken off the market. The FLOAM manufacturers must be snickering all the way to the bank. It is a shame this product is targeted to young children. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I had bought a tub of floam and brought it home and tried it out. Well it stuck to everything. So then I researched what it was made of. Guess What it has glue in it NO WONDER IT STICKS!!! These people should be sued!!!

My mum bought be this stuff for Christmas a long, long time ago, and it was fine. It worked as it should have and did not stick to everything. HOWEVER. Recently, we purchased a container, I'd say, about six or seven months ago, I tried it, and it stuck to EVERYTHING. In August, I got another container, thinking maybe it was just a bad batch. NOPE. It STILL stuck to everything. What happened?

We didn't get our Floam from an infomercial, it is in stores now. My seven year old daughter wanted some so much that she took money out of her piggy bank for it - it was only $4.00 for a tub, so I am thankful that we didn't buy a "set" or anything, but she's wanted this stuff for so long after seeing the commercials months ago, and was so proud to take her money to the store and buy a tub, then when she got it home and it was so slimy and sticky and smelly, it broke my heart to see the disappointment on her face. I read the instructions and "mixed" the floam for hours, but it never even closely resembled what they show in their advertising. This company should be shut down. It should be illegal to scam little kids like that.

I bought floam from a shop and i couldn't wait to try it out. When i opened the tub it was like yucky sticky goo. I thought that it was supposed to be NO GLUE, NO MESS and JUST FUN! Well obviously it was the complete opposite. I hated it! I Tried mixing and mashing it for 1 hour it still was sticky. Then i washed it of with water. It clogged up the drain. Then it made me use two towels to wash it of my hands. Now the floam wont wash off the towels. WHAT A RIP OFF!!! Don't buy it, it does the exact opposite to what it says it does. TRUST ME!!!

I purchased Floam after my children watched the commercial. I ordered from the number they give you on the ad and after rejecting several offers I did not need, I finally agreed to upgrade to the family pack for an additional $5.00 charge. They said they would send me an email confirmation and that it would take 4-6 weeks to receive my floam. I later checked my email and found that the charge to my credit card was very incorrect. They not only charged me $19.95 for the original package, but they charged me for another $19.95 package with the $5.00 charge for upgrading! I was so furious I tried to reach customer service to no avail. I even sent emails with my confirmation number. After awhile I let it slide, figuring it a lesson learned and at least my kids would have the floam they have been begging for. Well it has been almost two years since that time and I still have not received my floam. The charge was made and paid to my card for nothing. since I waited so long (4-6 weeks) they could not cancel the order. I think the bummer part is my kids were so looking forward to getting this stuff, and the ONE time I actually order something it doesn't come. This company should be banned from showing its commercials on our children's most watched channels. After reading the comments below, I now know that it was not just me, and had I gotten this stuff I would have been cleaning it up like the countless parents reported below.

I just bought FlOAM today from [] for 8 dollars. Even though its not that much money compared to what others spent its a complete rip off, the FLOAM sticks to everything. It says on the box to mix it and I mixed it for about an hour, and still it was sticky as ever and was like glue. I probably spent another hour trying to get it off my hands and clothes. This product is a complete rip off, valuable life lesson right here: Never trust infomercials.

My sister ordered the product during a tv show. The product was advertised for $19.95. I cancelled the order the very next day as I didn't give her permission to use my credit. I explained all of this in my email to the company, plus the fact that we are both in our seventies and had no use for such an appliance. Three days later, the charge of $108.80 appeared in my banking statement. I have notified my bank and they are in the process of either cancelling my credit card or bringing charges for fraud against the company. Another email was sent to the company just today to advise them of pending actions. No response has been received as of this writing.. []

Have been trying repeatedly to cancel my orderstarting within 8 minutes of hanging up after placement of order. No response to several e-mails and customer service (after 1/2 hour wait) says no record of sale and to call back in another 24 hours. Of course by then product will have shipped and my chage card will have been billed the ridiculous shipping charges that apply.

Watching Biography Channel, taped from 7/9 - FOAM ad came on re an auger...for the garden/with accessories...$19.95 plus shipping and handling. I called to order ONE....the auto message took ALL my credit information then continued non stop with numerous additional items...trying to get me to purchase...After countless NO's...I ended the conversation which even had the salesman also interven, trying to change my mind about the order. Needless to say...I stood firm. All of these sales pitches were on a continuing voice mail. I then attempted to call their 800 513-2809 no...was told to call 920 966 6600, which again disconnected me. The e-mail address of cs@floamuse.com also a phoney. I called my credit card..cancelled my card...attempted to contact Biography Channel for advertising SCAM.... At 70 years olds, this was frustrating, involving many calls to cancell this "SCAM". Please, Please do NOT order from this group.

I used this company to purchase a set of scissors and a kitchen knife. They charged me $47 to ship those items to me and the order total was only $20. I lost the telephone no as i ordered it directly from the tv screena and only got a recorded ordering service. I trie to email the customer service as this is the only contact they placed on the delivered item. Cs@floamusa.com
Strange. If anyone hs their addres, please could you write it for me as i wish to complain to the Better Business Bureau to investigate it they are excellent at this. When I emailed customer services twice I got NO reply..

I ordered floam off of the cartoon channel for my daughter and it was advertised very opposite of what I received. The infomercial told me that if I ordered now that I would receive the big tubs of floam and all I have is these little containers thats not even half the size of a cereal bowl and I feel as though I was ripped off for $74.70. If you have any decency you would send me out what was advertised or reimburse me my money. I am a single parent and my daughter has been looing forward to this for sooo... long and this is what you people do. And my daughter is old enough to tell the difference between what was advertised and what she received.

I got this for my 6 year old as a stocking stuffer for Christmas (2006). I opened one container and my daughter opened one. It felt kinda cool in your hands and was fun to make shapes and stuff with, but it seems to dry out pretty quick...or quicker than I thought it would. It definitely has a smell though nothing that would make you ill. Just don't smell with your hand right up to your nose and you probably won't notice. Overall, I give it a 2 out of 5. Not really worth the money. If you got a five gallon bucket for about $8-$10 then that would be worth it if you didn't mind the slight funny smell.
