hi, i saw the infomercial for this today and figured it looked really good, then went to their website and realized how incredibly misleading the infomercial is...nevermind that but even on other review sites, there are reviews by unknown people who write that this product is so amazing, but i am really glad to have come across this site andi feel so bad for the people who didn't get to see this site before buying this product

I bought this product for my wife a couple of months ago, she really wanted it so I got it for her. My main complaint isnt about the product because it seems to work. My complaint is about their customer service. Along with the Fluidity Bar I mistakingly purchased the weight loss pills with it. I got two shipments in the mail right away and was charged for them. Well I want to return them but cant seem to find anyone to talk to - except a sales person (right off the website) and they just direct you to a phone number ( 866.229.9119) that keeps on ringing with no answer or a number that is busy constantly no mater how many time you call it. I cant seem to get through to anyone. Ive emailed them and still no response. I just want to get a refund for these pills and return them. That shouldnt be hard to do. But it is and im getting tired of it. Wish I knew better!

i called and cancelled the product before it was shipped out. i was told a day later "sorry it was shipped anyway, just return it for a full refund" i called today because i haven't gotten a full refund and today they took another payment from my account. i called and was told they don't give full refunds, i explained that i cancelled the product BEFORE it was shipped...i called the same day to cancell and it was still sent. i refused the package and sent it back. well see about that refund....do i have to close my account to keep them from continued payment deductions by them?

I also thought this "Fludity Bar" was only $39.95 plus shipping till I happened to come across this web site. They never told me when ordering it that there would be 5 payments of $39.95. I have called them, unfortunely it has already been shipped, but they are having it reversed back to them. (????) We'll see. Trouble is I'll still be charged the $49.95 shipping charge. What a rip off this company is. It will be better then paying $200.00 plus, when I was led to believe it only cost $39.95.

I too saw the infomercial, thinking it looked fantastic. As all others have stated on this site; the informercial is very misleading. The price is different from what you get billed. When I tried to send it back I was told my account would not be credited for almost 2 months. Also, I live in a building with stairs, I could not have got the thing to the front door. I am a tall, muscular girl. I do not know how anyone smaller than me could move it. Again misleading about how easy it is to move and store. That thing is monstrous. It is a hassle to set up and take down. I too had the bar fall on my foot, which I had just had surgery on. Needless to say I was not happy about that. This is my first and last time to buy anything off a infomercial, which is sad for those that are selling legitimate product.

I saw the infomercial, went to their website and "Googled" any blogs I could find on this product -- all of which were good reviews -- they must have been "plants". I purchased it and the end of December 2007 -- paid the extra $9.95 for "rush shipping" to get going. I, too, fell for the line that anyone can use it. After trying it for 2 weeks, I felt worse than before I started. I am 40 lbs. overweight, but have used a treadmill and Tony Little Gazelle (which I really love for stretching especially). I'm 45 years old and felt this KILLED my back -- and the pain in my right hip would not go away until I stopped using it. It is heavy -- it's 50 lbs. I contacted customer service via email within the 30 day money back guarantee and I received no response. As it got closer to the cut off, I phoned. Spoke with a rep who told me all I had to do was send it back via UPS by the 30th day. When I looked up how much it was going to cost to ship back 2-day air because I was that close now to the cut off -- it was hundreds of dollars. I called back and asked them why it was so much -- asked if they could issue a "call tag" via their UPS account and I pay the $49.95 shipping? They said no -- I asked to speak to a supervisor -- the supervisor said no, too -- I asked to speak with her manager -- and I got the "I am the highest you can go" response. I was livid that it was going to cost more to ship it back than what it cost to ship to me -- I was fully aware of the amount, and the risk I BELIEVED I took was that if it cost me $49.95 to ship it to me in the first place, it should only cost me $49.95 to send it back. I told them I would contact the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint and post to EVERY blog on the internet I could find about their VERY misleading advertising -- they didn't care. So, I contacted the Better Business Bureau and filed a complaint -- and within 2 days I received a call from a manager from Fluidity who had seniority over the supervisor I spoke with and agreed to have UPS pick it up and charge me $49.95. The manager also said it would take one billing cycle for the refund to appear on my charge account. This happened at the end of January 2008-- I was billed another payment for February, so I am still waiting to see how much they are going to refund my account at this point because they now have $201.75 of my money that they are probably collecting interest on. I don't know if I would call this a scam, but they clearly MISREPRESENT the product being able to be used by anyone in any shape or at any age, and that it isn't all that easy to handle, the infomercial is misleading about the price, and, of course, the return shipping policy is ludicrous. If anyone is still having difficulties with this company -- file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. My complaint # was 98264735 -- their website serving Orange County, CA -- where Fluidity Fitness does business out of is: []. It would be really nice if the attorney general for the state of California or even the US Attorney General could look into this and bring a class-action lawsuit on behalf of all of us who were mislead by their advertising so we could get a refund on the shipping AND they stop with their misleading advertising.

Wow, I'm so glad I ran into this site. I saw the infomercial today and was interested in ordering the product. I thought it was $39.99 plus shipping and handling. Prior to finding this site I went to the Fluidity site and see that it really is a total of 6 payments of $39.99. This is very deceptive. Now I understand from all of the other notices posted here that there are more things that are deceiving about the product. I'm sorry for your inconveniences but thank you for sharing your stories and saving me the money and time.

After reading all the complaints, I am glad that I didn't order this product. The TV infomercial is very deceptive concerning the full price of the product. I work in shipping and the cost to ship this product is also very costly. When I questioned the shipping cost with an order taker, I was told that they have to pay people to pack it, pay the telephone reps who take your order and the infomercial. Shouldn't that all be included in the cost of the product? Buyer beware!

I am so glad I read these comments before buying this product. I was so excited about purchasing fluidity, so I went to the website to get more information. That's where I found out that it's not $39.95 plus shipping and handleing, but it's that plus 5 more (easy) payments! I was very dissapointed, so I called the 1800 number to see what the deal was. The guy would not let me get a word in edgewise and kept claiming what a great deal it was to have the one thing that would get me the body I wanted for only $200 more than what the infomercial claimed. I knew it was a scam at this point because if it was such an awesome price, why wouldn't they just put it on the infomercial? I also want to know how paying $39.95 plus $50 s&h is a "risk free trial." I AM SO GLAD I DID NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I'm sorry all of you had these experiences, but thank you for helping others not to make the same mistakes.

I bought the fluidity bar because it looked pretty simple to set-up and take down and the results looked good on the informmercial. The informmercial showed it as very easy to handle. Well I received the bar which was very heavy and I tried to set it up and I fell and my arm and the top of my foot got very bruised and sore. I returned (which cost 97.00 to ship it)thinking that I was going to get my money refunded and they said that the shipping expense for them to ship it to me wasn't refundable which they don't mention on the informmercial; so I'm out 97.00 twice for shipping and I have nothing to show for it except bruises. I wish I would have known how to look up this site before I bought the fuildity bar scam.

I ordered this dumb thing after watching the infomercials, and oddly enough, after researching this product's online reviews, many of which were good. Maybe it's me, but the good old-fashioned treadmill, and free weights is all you need to get fit. I felt like I was STRAINING my back, rather than strengthening it using the Fluidity Bar, and the exercises didn't feel like they really did anything. How these women on the infomercial got the perfect tush using this product is beyond me.

11/7/2007 - Carla writes:
I too heard the infomercial that said the product cost $39 plus 9.95 for shipping. Thought that seemed worth a shot. Next day got an e-mail saying it was five payments of $39.95 plus $50 for shipping. I called immediately and cancelled. Can't believe they would allow such lies upfront when you find out next day that you've been had!

I could really kick myself for not reading these comments before I blew $158.90. Yep they charged me the 39.95 for first month and 49.95 for ups, then when you ship it back ups it will cost $70.00 and you will still be out the $158.90. What a scam , they know most people will keep this piece of worthless weight than invest time and money to return it. It really is useless and yes you can just lean on the couch or lay on the floor. I am as mad at myself for being soooo stupid as I am at them for ripping off the general puplic. Sure wish we could get even somehow.

I bought a Fluidity bar in July 2006 and agreed to the 5 $39.95 payments. Fifteen (15) months later I receive a letter in the mail from a collection agency for Fluidity stating I owe $79.95 for the balance. I have been trying to call the 1-866-831-2913 # for the last 3 days "at least 20 times each day with the phone being busy each time" I was NEVER notified that I owed anything * not only that, what kind of company waits over a year to contact the customer.<br /> From what I am reading on the net regarding this product it seems that this Company or what ever you want to call it do NOT know what they are doing. I am very disappointed in this product anyway & noe I have to deal with their ineptatude of how a business is ran. I WILL ALSO BE CALLING THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU TODAY TO REPORT THEM, If anyone knows of a class action suit that may be going on please forward it so I can join.

I bought a Fluidity bar about 6 months ago and agreed to the 5 $39.95 payments. 6 months later life is going along just fine until I get a call from a collector saying I owe $79.95 for the balance. I called Fluidity and asked why would I have been sent to collections when they have never once notified me there was an outstanding balance. They wouldn't agree to send a letter saying they didn't notify me. Further, they wouldn't send me a letter assuring me they would clear it up with the collection agency. I AM CALLING THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU TODAY TO REPORT THEM AND WOULD BE HAPPY TO JOIN ANY CLASS ACTION AGAINST THESE IDIOTS I CAN FIND!!!

I ordered the fluidity bar thinking that it was a great investment. I pay one big chunk of money for something that I keep instead of having to make payments to a gym every month to go some where to use exercise equipment. Also it looked effective and easy. WRONG! Buying this product was the worst decision. Even when I thought I was safe just sending it back it turned out I wasn't. This was not a risk free trial. When I returned it, it cost me about $50 in shipping, it was a very difficult task just taking it to the location where I shipped it from because of how heavy it is. Not only that but they are also giving me a hard time getting a refund saying that they never received the item. I'm in college, meaning I have crazy expenses for books and classes, and I thought I was investing in my physical health for a good price. Instead I got ripped off. Don't buy this product!!!

Hi, well unfortunately I have a tale of woe as well. I opted for the single payment since I was so impressed with the infomercial and figured the this was going to be the "hottest and most effective" product that really works for you. I was shocked at the $300 price but figured that I was making an effort to improve my health and in the long run this is a small price to pay for a lifetime of fitness. Yeah sure. What they don't tell you is that the bar is terribly heavy and inconvenient if you cannot leave it in its upright position. If you have small home or apartment the bother of having someplace to store it is really a hassle and really takes away from the product. If all your thinking about is how hard its going to be to set the darn thing up then what's the point. What they also don't tell you is the Fluidity bar is not really a weight loss tool its more of a toning and stretching tool like pilates, you will not see yourself losing large amounts of weight with this product or very little if any. I think dancers who want to improve their posture or technique will find this useful but to the "average" person that this product is marketed to will find themselves really dissapointed after they tried all the tapes and see little to no weight loss. I did the tapes for at least a month and did see some increased strength and flexibility but I did not see the results like the people in the infomercial. After calling fedex and ups to see how much return shipping would be I just figured that I didn't need the hassle of buying a new box and being out of more money. I got so tired of having to set it up everyday after dragging it to and from the closet that I just threw it away. So dissapointed and disheartened. Something that costs this much should work. My gym offers a year's membership for less than this with personal training. Do yourself a favor and don't get this product if you're trying to lose weight. I'm still feeling the burn in my wallet from it.

I decided to purchase Fluidity after watching the infomercial for months. I decided not to renew my gym membership and opted to buy somthing that I could pay off. Here is what I wish I knew before I bought it. 1. The DVD's are so similar you could start with the advance. They don't offer much variety. The ball and stretch band are used for 10 min in each video. They are a joke. More effective doing your own workout. 2. The workout could be done using a chair or leaning against your sofa. It is cumbersome to pull out and put away every day. The powdery voice of Michelle is annoying. 3. It is too heavy to return for a reasonable price. They did this so you won't return it. After trying it I figured I would get over the loss of $80 for shipping delivery and return. I called all major shippers (UPS, FED EX and U.S. Mail) and the rate to return it would be $80 - $120 (not the $40 it cost to ship it to me which is the companies bulk rate). I realized I would be wasting $120 for trying it twice so I kept it. 4. Don't try customer service. They only want your order. They don't know the meaning of customer service. I just wanted to ship it back to them for $40. They said return shipping was my issue. After speaking with manager after manager I became annoyed and they became rude. 5. I reported it to the BBB in California that they bar was so heavy that it was too expensive to return. I didn't feel the trial was risk free. They had no response from the company so they closed my case. Still report it if you can. Maybe something will happen if enough people complain. Word to the wise...This is in no way a risk free trial. You are risking at least $120. Keep your money and go for a walk.

I bought this bar after seeing the infomercial. i thought the workouts looked easier than usual & i hate the gym. well $240 later, i had a broken toe & no weight loss. this bar comes fully-assembled... great, but it weights 60 lbs! i'm not kidding.. when you unfold it to work out, the cushion part falls on your feet & wrecks toes! i tried to send it back, seeing no results & it cost me $68 as it weighed 60 lbs. the return was confirmed & signed for, but they never refunded my money til i called & complained. Pain in the butt!

3/17/2007 - Ron writes:
This product is useless, you can use your dining table to hold into something and still have the same effect. The only thing you need is a bar to hold on to or simply just something stable enough to hold your weight. I think this is the most bullshit product I've ever seen out there just because they even show on tv how easy this thing can be accomplish without buying it at all. I feel sorry for people who buys this product, is just plain stupid bar, that's it!!!
